We went to Carsupermarket Grimsby because after looking at garages online we felt Carsupermarket had the most choice as we wasn't sure what we even wanted. Once there it was nice to look around the vehicles without being hassled and once we'd decided on a car we simply got the keys and even the test drive was just myself and partner, I would and have already recommended Carsupermarket Grimsby to friends and relatives and my partner has already decided that she'll be changing her car there after summer

I originally enquired regarding the vehicle with Tristen at I believe the head office in Hull & it was arranged to be moved from Lincoln to Barnsley for me to view & test drive. I contacted Tristen a few times regarding queries who was very helpful. on arriving in Barnsley I was contacted regarding a suitable date for myself to visit & test drive. everything with the vehicle was to my satisfaction & Katarzyna was very good is handling the sale at the showroom & a pleasure to deal with.

Thought I was driving a nice clean valeted car home from Hull Branch. Except after some days, the valet smell disappeared and wet dog smell appeared.
The car on test driving looked and smelt clean but looked further into the crevices of the seats and the seat belt buckles and lots of dog hairs visible.
Complained and they offered a repeat valet. Once valet completed, dog hairs remained, smell returned again.
They again offered a second valet which they did and I requested specific areas to be cleaned and these areas were evidently untouched.
Had to further clean the car myself and clumps of hair taken out from the edges of the seats and when put the back chairs down, hairs found under the boot hood and covering the full length of the bottom of the folded chairs.

Purchase went very smoothly with the professionalism from Mark shining through.

Worst experience with carsupermarket.if you want stress free life do not purchase from them ,issues started with my husband's car after 6months of purchase .The car was towed to nearest garage who kept it for a week before saying they couldn't fix the issue and advised us to take it elsewhere. This has caused additional stress and inconvenience .now its in different garage and the diagnosis is failure of camshaft carrier due to timing chain and after repairing there is 10% chance of engine failure.

The garage suggests repairs cost is more than 3000 pound . Premia Solutions'(third party) warranty covers £2000, which after tax, is £1666. Given this is an engine fault, we're being asked to pay more .We've tried contacting CarSupermarket, but they're saying we should contact Premia Solutions (the warranty company). Meanwhile, Premia Solutions are saying we should go back to CarSupermarket.

This situation's causing massive stress, and it's clear the car's had a serious fault from the begining .

I had the best conversation with a bloke named mark over the phone really made me feel comfortable and told me in depth about the best way to proceed and what would be best for me based on my financial situation. Very honest and transparent company

1st class from start to finish everything explained very clearly , and spent plenty of time looking at the best deal .

I am not the kind of person to leave a review, let alone a bad one.

My whole experience buying from Car Supermarket has been painful.

Firstly, the car had already been paid for. The next day, I spoke with multiple people across different branches, and they couldn’t even locate where the car was.

Apparently, it was being transported from Hull to Birmingham, but neither branch could confirm its location or when it was expected to arrive, despite a full day of me contacting them.

The car then finally arrived in Birmingham, only for me to be told the windscreen was cracked and needed replacing.

They advised a 3-day wait for it to be fixed.

I then rang on the day of the repair, only to be told the windscreen hadn’t been done because they had the wrong one to fit.

At that point, they said I could collect the car the next day and that I would be contacted to have it fixed at home.

I’ve now had the car for 4 days and received no call — I’ve had to chase them myself.

The people you deal with are not the problem; they are friendly and professional.

The issue is the organisation, communication, and lack of clarity around what is going on.

Personally, I would not buy from them again.

My inquiry about the car was dealt with very professionally.
