I placed an order for three Pokémon Celebrations items totalling £259 for my husbands birthday and was looking forward to surprising him - he’s a massive fan and a soon to be dad who works very hard! I unfortunately received a refund notification on September 29th saying all items have been refunded but with no follow up email advising of the reason why. I emailed TCG Cards straightaway asking why but have yet to receive a response and I doubt I ever will. I think it’s abhorrent to cancel orders and give customers no context as to why.

I looked on the TCG Cards Facebook page to seek rationale only to find a jumbled post saying orders had been cancelled due to a hate campaign by a few individuals which sounds like a poor and juvenile excuse - why are personal affairs effecting your ability to be professional and uphold orders placed by customers? I was then shocked to read TCG Cards saying you could still order these items but only via their Discord.

As many others have said on here, the preorder was due to be released within the next week and all other businesses selling these items have closed their preorders / have the listings showing as out of stock so it’s not like I can go elsewhere. It’s concerning and albeit convenient how cancellations have come at short notice now that other businesses are out of stock and resellers have these items on the likes of eBay for double if not triple the amount!

I’ve still not received my refund into my bank account and I’m very very concerned by this. If I’ve not received the full amount by the end of the weekend I’ll be reporting TCG Cards for fraud not only to my bank provider but also to Trading Standards and Citizens Advice and I recommend anyone else effected should do the same.

Update: refund still not received as of today’s date (5th October) - I have logged an online dispute (chargeback) with my bank provider as well as a complaint with their fraud team, I’ve also reported the business to Citizens Advice, Trading Standards, and finally reported the business to Investigations and Enforcement Services at Companies House. Company number is 13068996 for anyone else looking to do the same.

Cancels pre-orders because he doesn't like the negative reviews he is getting on Trustpilot then goes on to scalp the products on his private discord. Terrible company and terrible service

There are bad reviews for a reason. I decided to take a chance and low and behold the seller proved all if the negative reviews to be true.

The seller has put out a nonsense note as to why he cancelled orders, but this makes no sense whatsoever.

1. He says he cancelled orders due to the abuse he has been getting on trustpilot.

So how does he address customer service related complaints? He cancels all orders?

He has had negative reviews from a small proportion of customers who have shared bad experiences and his response to punish all of his customers? This is total bs.

How fickle is this mans ego?

Clearly he had no intention to honour the orders and like some have pointed out he has been selling these on discord.

A shame really, i decided to give his store a chance and he showed that he is unreliable, untrustworthy and incompetent.

Worst thing about this is he wont even own his actions, step up, take ownership and admit what you did. Don't blame the customers that you keep letting down.

I'm gutted but not surprised. Contacted this seller when i had purchased an order for the upcoming set. We exchanged emails for a few days where he explained to me that my order was tiny compared to what he was capable of obtaining.

Heard nothing in the following weeks (which was expected) now only 8 days before release he cancels with the most unprofessional disclaimer I have ever seen in my life saying. "On the 29th of September we chose to refund all celebrations orders. Information was put on social media to explain why . All customers who have pre-ordered can still obtain products via TCG CARDS if they choose to by joining our discord. The hate campaign we have endured for months has to stop and this is how we feel best to combat this. We will continue to bring you the latest products at the best prices and will not be shut down by this Trust Pilot hate campaign caused by a few. Please email *************** if you would like a link to discord to place an order for celebrations products. We apologise it has come to this but rest assured if you still wish to go ahead with your celebrations order you can. All refunds will show in your bank accounts within 48 - 72hrs depending on your bank."

So this site can no longer be considered a store and should stop trading as such, this is now an exclusive club where you pay for membership and access, He has blamed trust pilot "hate campaign" which consists of 60 reviews clearly after what we have seen perfectly justified reviews. I will away the 72 hours advised then contact trading standards and citizens advice this is not how a store should operate and the workings of a man who should be no where near this kind of business.

Worst company ever fir Tcg m. They had preorders up for days/ wks. Me and my brother both ordered from them and after that I still seen they had preorders up for days this is fir Pokemon celebrations and the premium collection box and Etb. I ordered my 1st premium one a month ago half paid already with Laybuy ordered one more and Etb. Today they cancelled everything no explanation. I’m furious to be honest I wouldn’t touch this company again. Unprofessional, lazy and unreliable.

First time customer. Pre-ordered an item months in advance (had to pay the full amount on pre-ordering), then the company cancelled the preorder a week before release.

Funnily enough the company stated on their website that the reason to cancelling the order was due to "the hate" on trustpilot and explained that you can still have your preorder if you join their private discord server.

I would avoid this company like the plague in the future for not honouring pre-orders, their shoddy customer service and exceptionally shady business practice.

I am still yet to receive the refund to my bank account and the company has not responded to my email hence this trust pilot review.

It's ironic that the company doesn't want "hate" on trust pilot but upon cancelling everyone's preorder, including mine as a first time customer tcgcards has received more "hate" from others like me curious to see what their reviews are like and adding our own after the cancellation.

Pre-ordered Celebrations and get an unapologetic email explaining that I'm getting a refund. No apology. No attempt at offering some form of explanation; a basic, polite form of communication would suffice. Based on the reviews I've read already today, looks like the owner is bad news. Will swerve this company and any affiliations in the future.

UPDATE:
Considering the floods of hatred rolling towards the man who owns this cheap facade of a company it is amazing how even though they still haven't responded to my emails or honoured the refund they stated I would receive, that thye still find the time to actually dispute the review I left as not genuine! Speaks volumes to the cowardice of the man.

If I could give less than 1 star I would, took my pre order money, held it for 2 months then gave it back 1 week before release date. So effectively these scam artists are taking out "interest free loans" from hopeful customers who just want to buy what they say they are selling... these guys deserve to be shut down from ever doing business

Placed a pre-order with them, biggest mistake I ever made. Now like the rest of the people all in the same boat as me, I've been waiting 2+ weeks for money which was never returned to my bank account...

This place has committed fraud, avoid at all cost!

Owner is a known scammer within the community. Decided to give him the benefit of the doubt for the latest Pokemon release. He held pre-orders for months then cancelled them all during the last couple days before release to resell them all to his discord group whom he charges a premium to access. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS RETAILER.

UPDATE: After calling Damo (The Owner) Out he then retroactively throws blanket excuses out of orders being flagged for ‘fraud’. My order was placed under my name, my email address, using my main bank card linked to my main bank account, with the correct billing information. It was also only 3 items, albeit expensive ones.

These orders were placed months in advance, the man just does not run a professional business, there’s not much else to say.

UPDATE #2: After commenting on my review that my order was apparently fraudulent (excuses). Damo has reported my review claiming;

“tcgcards.co.uk has flagged your review because they aren’t sure you've had a genuine experience with them. Please help us verify your review by sending us documentation showing your buying or service experience with tcgcards.co.uk.”

So which is it Damo? At first my order was ‘flagged’ and now he’s complained to trust pilot that I didn’t have an experience shopping with them at all.

Just to be crystal clear to everyone; I did place an order against peoples better judgement, he did cancel the orders after months to then sell to people that pay a premium to access his discord server, and he as far as I can tell has still not actually refunded anyone within the community. Several customers including myself are in the process of issuing chargebacks through our banks today.

This is what it is like dealing with this person & his ‘company’.

Pre ordered the Celebrations Ultra Premium in August and now that every place is sold out, my preorder has been cancelled. No reason either, just an email saying I've been refunded and the orders been cancelled!?!
Edit: I did file a dispute with my bank and did get my money back that way.

I have had to change my review, I want to write a massive list of things that I have seen and what has happened but can’t be bothered to go into details but Same as everyone else, no product or refund. Was told by Steph (who now has nothing to do with TCG apparently even though her email is the main contact on their website) that my order was never cancelled and was safe and ready to be sent out on the 22nd October but heard nothing since, asked again and again and was told different things, I have screenshots of the conversations to prove what had been said. I have had to get the bank involved to retrieve the money and a fraud claim raised
Do yourself a favour and don’t spend any money with tcgcards.co.uk
Oh and I forgot to add that I received a champions path etb with booster packs definitely resealed with glue. You couldn’t make it up

Checked out trustpilot before I made an order, thank god I did because where there’s smoke there’s fire.
Was looking to preorder Pokemon 25th Anniversary products but was hesitant due to the fact they go out of stock one day, back in stock the next, the big online retailers are struggling to get them in but this site seems to have a boat load which I find extremely hard to believe and very shady.
Not allowing comments on their social media raises a lot of suspicion as well.

Too much bad vibes and bad experience with delayed then cancelled stock. I’d stay away. Plenty of other stores online.

I ordered chilling reign from the discord server, after weeks, I asked where it was, and got banned and my order cancelled.

I only asked in the server because emails to customer service were going unanswered. I don't recommend ordering with this company at all. They are very disorganized, and they don't reply to customer queries appropriately.

Excellent service. They have massively improved their operations over the last two months. Would definately use again

I buy from multiple avenues from TCG. This could be direct from the Website or by other methods.

The product is always spot on and if I ask any questions or raise a question, they are answered.

I would recommend.
