Same as everyone else pre ordered celebrations only find out before they are released my order is cancelled. I would receive a refund, I am still yet to receive a refund. Emails have been ignored. Had to open a dispute with my bank to get my money back. This is an absolute scam and shady business. Stay clear

Claimed to have cancelled my order after I requested following some colleagues having a bad experience with them. 3 weeks have passed and I still haven't been refunded which confirmed what I had heard about this companies dubious business practices. Email sent yesterday has been ignored thus far.

Same as everyone else, pre ordered celebrations and got a random email 2 weeks ago saying they refunded me but nothing and every email ive sent has been ignored, will be going to my bank to make a claim for the money back.. DONT TRUST!

I'm another one who pre-ordered celebrations, and then had my order cancelled. Was told I would be refunded, and to join the Discord chat to reorder.

Damo has now advised on Discord that we aren't getting refunds and it has all been handed over to Duncan. Having spoken to Duncan, he seems pretty sound, and has not taken over the company. Damo has listed him on Companies House as Company Secretary without his consent, and named him as the owner on Trust Pilot.

Damo has taken all the refund money and is now selling the stock elsewhere, and seems completely unconcerned about his wrongdoing.

Would urge other customers affected to submit formal complaints to Companies House to ensure Damo Bowland is disqualified as a Director. If you google 'Complain about a company' and go through the Government website links to report a fraud/scam it will take you to the Insolvency Website where you can fill in a form online.

The company is still active, despite Damo resigning as a Director. Because he hasn't appointed another one, and has taken the assets, he is still legally responsible.

For other reviewers, google 'report a company to trading standards' and take it from there.

Those that had celebrations pre orders cancelled, Damo is now selling your celebrations on cardmarket for a hugely inflated price.

I did feel sorry for Steph but seems Damo has rubbed off on her as she also ignores/responds rude to people. (never got a response from my 2 emails a couple months back) At least I got my order I guess compared to some here (well after release may I add for a pre order...)

Damo, please, seek some help. This isn't a joke, you are so delusional if you think customers are the problem, you caused all of this. Also removing legit reviews, problem is, we can't even give you our details because you are threatening, you will blackmail us, you will break data protection laws. Something is wrong with how you think, you just don't seem to be able to think from others perspectives. The discord has become an echo chamber, echo chambers are dangerous, they all just want to stay in your discord for products, they are too scared to speak against you. You have put fear into people. I can see this and i've never been part of it, but god damn, some of the screenshots I have seen are terrible.

As well as everything else, it seems he has now become a scalper, all of your celebrations products are now on cardmarket at disgusting prices.

Reminder to reviewers, Trading Standards. Google them, I can't link them in reviews. This might even be for the authorities at this point. They have frauded a lot of you so seek extra help where needed.

This is not a witch hunt, this is not disgruntled customers. This is YOU. The fact people are still waiting for refunds is disgusting, it does not take this long.

Preorder cancelled a week before release with a random 'your order has been refunded' email. Multiple emails sent and all ignored, now organising a refund through my bank.

It's a shame Trustpilot insist on 1 star for reviews, zero would be better for this company.

!!WARNING!! This is a scam. This company has no intention of selling or delivery Pokemon trading cards. They have lied to their Discord channel. I politely asked where my refund was, and when I called them out, they banned me from the channel.

I am talking to my bank to get the money back. It's a scam, avoid at all costs!

So this is how a pre-order sale should go. The customer pre-orders product, pays now or later, customer receives product on release, sometimes there’s a minor hiccup, generally customer is treated well and is happy.

Now here’s the TCG story.

I noticed a post on Facebook stating that due to a hate campaign ALL pre-orders were being cancelled. Now I’ve never used the site before, it took me a while of monitoring the stock and doing some due diligence (Obviously not enough!) before I actually pre-ordered some months ago but other than that I’ve not seen any drama or bad vibes since my order date.

So I contacted the company as per the message and was told if I still wish to purchase product to join discord. No direct apology just join up to re-order….

I joined the discord server and it soon become apparent that a lot of people had been affected by this. A chat channel was created (and since deleted) by someone who continues to say they are only a discord admin despite sharing the name of the official email contact (coincidence?) and asked ‘Customers’ to note what they wanted and/or order number. It was advised you’d then be sent a new invoice with 10% discount. At this point mass refund emails had also been sent out via email notification. All a bit weird but running as smooth as could be expected at this point.

It’s been ~8 working days now and the refund still hasn’t gone back in to my account. I’ve not been given a new invoice, not that I want one or would give them anymore of my money. The discord just seems to be a close nit group running raffles, auctions and sales all while this scenario is being played out. Don’t go looking for any sympathy from any of these people though as you’ll just get snarky comments. The ‘owner’ is more than happy to also auction off stock and run suspect giveaways whilst customers who have given the ‘company’ thousands (yes, thousands) over the last few months are told to “be patient” and “it’s with the banks” as excuses. Supposedly the shop was being closed down at a very timely deadline due to another hate action and it was password protected several times over the last week but to no surprise it’s back open again. If you voice any issues expect to then be kicked and denied the chance to purchase the non-existent product – there is no customer service or remorse here.

Additionally, and this could be totally unrelated at some point TCG Cards UK became unaffiliated with TCG Trading UK Ltd, my order was originally with TCG Trading UK Ltd but the refund email came from TCG Cards. I just hope this isn’t a fraudulent technique in practice.

In short just avoid anything to do with TCG cards, from what I’ve seen this was just some sort of cash grab and way to bring more lambs to the discord auction/raffle slaughter. I hope all this treatment of taking ‘customers’ money with no intention to honour sales comes back with the right resolution, this whole scenario has to be borderline criminal.

20/10 - Update
It appears the change of ownership was planned. Refunds appear to be fake despite being communicated as genuine and the only way to get the money back is by contacting your bank which is now the message from the 'owner' as it can't be strung out any longer. Thankfully mine has been refunded in principle by my bank. I have also raised a case with Citizens Advice who in turn will be contacting trading standards. If you're in the same situation I'd suggest doing the same, both processes should be straight forward via online forms and DO NOT BUY anything from this website.

Took my money and sent me a fake refund email. AVOID
Sent me a further email sending me proof the refund was generated but hadn't replied to any emails when I asked for it.
Still no refund btw... I have screenshots of the 'owner' saying only people he likes will be getting their products... I gave these guys the benefit of the doubt and my money. I have no product and no money. AVOID THIS SCAMMER
[Update] Owner Damo Bowland lied and I had to get my credit card company to get my money back. He should be in prison soon.

Have had a preorder cancelled and waiting for a refund. Not replying to any emails, very bad service please do not buy from them!!!!!!!!

Cancelled pre order from July and have yet to receive my refund 2 weeks later. I would avoid at all costs!

Zero response to emails and Facebook messages reference refund. Refund has taken over two weeks and still no sign of it. Avoid at all costs, just another scammer website. Credit card fraud department investigating.

Check responses to these reviews, there are none. They take your money and run. Reported to trading standards and citizens advice.

This company has repeatedly over sold pre orders for limited products. Stay well clear

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Like many others I was “refunded” (I say that as I still haven’t received the refund) without notice, I’ve never had to wait this long for a refund and I genuinely believe I won’t receive one. No confidence in this company whatsoever. I then was on a discord which was set up, I left a comment after a few days due to frustration and subsequently get kicked from the discord??? STAY FAR AWAY - do not give them any of your money it’s an absolute joke.

If you have a genuine concern you are seen as a hater and blocked. Ordered from them in the past but they've lost my business forever now. There's only so many Pokemon collectors in the UK, how many will be left to buy your stuff if you block everyone?

Minus 1000 stars for this company, actually you can't even call it that. Its run by a bunch of fraudulent people, taking peoples money and paying off their own debts no doubt. You will not see your refund, suppliers would not allow these toxic people stock to sell. All their listed items are fake, Katie prices assets are more real than anything on their website. AVOID.

Wasn't possible to leave a 0 star rating unfortunately. Like many others order cancelled without a reason why and informed I would receive a refund.

Still no refund after I received the notification I would receive one on the 29th September. Sent numerous emails that were ignored till I threatened taking this to the ombudsman which then promptly received a reply from the "head admin".

Was told the refund would take approx 3-5 working days excluding weekends and Bank Holidays (which is a pointless thing to state as the next bank Holidays we have a Christmas day and boxing day so a completely irrelevant point), since I have still not received a refund and written back and been told its more 7-10 days and that they are happy to provide proof that they have sent a refund and for me to bring it up with my bank.

Again another irrelevant point as the issue can't be with my bank as countless others have still not received a refund and its highly unlikely we all use the same bank and that that is the issue.

Been advised that selling a product and not fulfilling an order or a refund is considered fraud, giving them till the end of play today to come up with either concrete evidence they have processed the refund or for me to receive it as the company is registered with company houses so has legal obligations they must fulfill as a retailer before this is taken further.

*UPDATE*: No refund received by the deadline I gave TCG Cards, warned them I would take this further. Have reported them and the owner to trading standards, my bank is starting the process into back charging and looking into listing them as a scam company ie to prevent others using the same bank being conned like myself. I urge everyone else who has had the same experience to do the same as this is fraud and they as a company must be prevented doing this again and also the bullying/intimadation tactics used afterwards when those out of pocket question where their money is.
*Further Update*: Trading standards have looked into the case and informed me to contact "Action Fraud" which is online form to report Fraud to the police. I will be reporting this today and advise everyone else to, fraud has been carried out and we all shouldn't accept being scammed. He has fraudulently cancelled our orders, held our money and then also sold the product we all paid for, for an inflated rate via discord and card exchanges. We owe future purchasers the right to not being defrauded and also that he should face to consequences for his actions.

Same as everyone on here, order was cancelled and received no refund. Contacted the seller and received no response. Now I have to sort this through my bank... would not recommend this store to anyone.
