Ich habe auf meinem Hinflug mein Gepäck verloren. Und auf dem Rückweg ein Koffer, der vier Monate lang nicht zu mir zurückkam. Ich rief am Flughafen an und sie konnten mir nicht helfen. Ich rief Tarom Airlines unter einer Nummer an, die niemand beantwortete. Und eine gesperrte Nummer. Ich habe viele E-Mails gesendet und niemand hat geantwortet. Eine Kontaktaufnahme aus dem Inland ist nicht möglich. Sie reagieren nur, um das Ticketgeld abzuschneiden. Wenn ich mich beschwere, antwortet oder hilft niemand.

A typical Romanian company that does not respect customers and served by political interests that can add a stop to a direct flight (that was not there when the ticket was bought) just to pick up a group of Romanian politicians. Moreover, the services on board are in no way better than a low-cost company, on the contrary, in some low-cost companies, the services are better than in this so-called line company. TAROM will be my last option to choose in the future.

If there is a minus star i would give it to this Airline , they lost my luggage for the whole duration of my vacation and when they founded it i had to go by myself to pick it up from Airport . And when i emailed them they replied that they will compensate me within 45 days from my claim and never again replied to my reminders . Very unprofessional with a lot of delays in flights up to two hrs , plus u have to buy water on plane , thing that i never saw in any airlines.

They canceled a flight, never paid me back. Not even AirHelp can't do a thing.

Update 2024:
Tickets are far more expensive than with other companies, but somehow, they always loose money and need government funds to keep them afloat.
Pretty much a big scam run on Romanian people.

They promise that luggage up to 23kg is free of charge, that it is included in the ticket. But when checking in at the check-in desk they charge you 65 euro for a one-way ticket!
In the magazine onboard is also mentioned that it is free of charge!
Emails about this are not responded!

Shitti*est airplane, shitti*st airport. Romania is poop.

They really went down hill. Used to be a great airline, now they are worse than a budget airline.

They only offer paid food and drinks now, bad sits, no leg room, no way to adjust seats, and also very hot.

I feel compelled to share my recent travel experience with Tarom Airlines, as it was nothing short of a nightmare. I hope that my review can shed light on the level of service and professionalism that this airline unfortunately lacks.

My journey with Tarom Airlines took place on 2 May 2023 from Belgrade to Bucharest. Little did I know that this trip would turn into a series of frustrations and disappointments that I have never encountered with any other airline.

The flight was marred by route changes and an unexpected delay that exceeded 10 hours. Throughout this ordeal, not a single representative was available to address passengers' concerns or provide updates. The complete lack of communication during this extensive wait was truly disheartening.

After hours of uncertainty, the flight was eventually canceled. We were directed to a hotel with promises of updates about the rescheduled flight via email. Additionally, we were informed that the airline would cover the costs of our taxi fares to return to the airport.

The next day, a mere 1.5 hours before the rescheduled flight departure time, an email informed us of the new flight details. Rushing to the airport in a bid to catch the flight showcased the lack of organization and planning on the airline's part.

As a seasoned traveler, I have never encountered such a lack of professionalism and accountability from an airline. The experience with Tarom Airlines was not only disappointing but also deeply frustrating, leaving me questioning the airline's commitment to its customers.

I am sharing this review on Trustpilot in the hope that it will serve as a cautionary tale for fellow travelers. Choosing an airline is a significant decision, and it is crucial to opt for one that values its passengers and ensures a smooth journey. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Tarom Airlines to anyone seeking reliable and customer-focused travel.

My intention in sharing this review is to help others make informed decisions about their travel choices. I encourage all readers to consider alternatives and exercise caution when considering Tarom Airlines for their future travels.

Je mets une étoile car je ne peux pas en mettre zero.

Service déplorable avec un retard énorme, avion des années 50 et hôtesses désagréables.

Ils ont réussi l’exploit de perdre notre valise sur un vol direct Paris Bucharest et nous n’avons eu aucune nouvelle pour le renvoi de cette valise.

Très desgreables au téléphone, a fuir !!!!

Vlieg nooit met deze maatschappij zeer slecht.
Koffers komen 4bdagen te laat daarna helemaal stuk.
Reageren nergens op als je mailtje.
Bell3n ze gooien de telefoon er zo weer op.
Nog nooit zo iets meegemaakt.

If there was a star denoting a 0, I would have picked that. The airline is the worst possible I could have imagined. They lost my luggage and refuse to cooperate. Not to mention that no one speaks English (well they pretend not to) and are absolute PICKE and give you inexistent phone numbers. I wish you bankruptcy.

World’s worst Airline!! Horrible service and rude staff. Very unprofessional and unsafe flights. Unless you want to get the feeling a Soviet - like experience , please don’t approach this company.

The worse company I've ever seen, they cancelled my flight just afew hours before the flight without any notice.
if you care about your time and money just be away from this company.

Organisation und Freundlichkeit sind leider zwei Fremdwörter bei TAROM!
Man ist zwar Mitglied von SkyTeam, die Rechte der Platinum & Gold Vielfieger interessieren aber bei TAROM niemanden...
Durch TAROM verursachte Flugverspätung, Anschlussflug in Bucharest verpasst, kein Abendessen, kein Frühstück und nur unfreundliche und patzige Antworten auf Rückfragen!
Nie wieder fliege ich mit dieser Airline....

TAROM? Nein, danke!
Vor zwei Wochen sind wir von Frankfurt nach Bukarest geflogen und heute (20.06.2023) dann nach Frankfurt zurück. Die Maschiene war alt, die Sitze unbeqem und ungepflegt, die Flugbegleiterinnen unfreundlich und lustlos. Man bekommt nicht mal ein Glas Wasser, was ich unfreundlich und ungesund finde. Nächstes Mal werden wir es mit Lufthansa versuchen.

The worse company to fly with they changed our flight hours 2 times and we had to stay overnight in Bucuresti we spoke with Tarom agency they didn’t care at all …we payed for the hotel and cab 🚕….Avoid Tarom please if you can ..
