Terrible organisation
Terrible organisation! We are approached by Talk Talk to upgrade our broadband service. Improved service as its a fibre line into the address. Very similar price product with increased bandwidth. Thought it was a win win.
Product goes live, and its brilliant wi-fi in one room of the house only. I work from home, no good in the office. Talk talk agree to send out a booster. Still not got it 4 weeks later. Told to "be patient!"
We then find we are being charged a break clause cost of over £100 pounds, even though talk talk approached us, offered us the deal, and on a recorded line make no mention of break clause. Still not got the quality service. Poor customer service as I've been on hold for the entire day. Complete rubbish! don't go to talk talk unless you want a terrible product and service!
Complete rip off
since upgrading sheer and utter mess, l 1st called them out as l had no connection, as engineer was sent out and he fixed the problem, he told me there would be no charge as it was Talk Talk fault and he ticked the right box, on receiving my bill l am charged£75, l still await a reply from them, The outside cable was fastened to by down pipe and had to get in touch with Outreach to fix it to the wall, also was left with no land line when l had the new fibre fitted, that cost me £25 l asked to be put through to customer services and guess what while l was waiting l was cut off. disgusting service
customer service run by people with no common sense
customer service run by people with not an ounce of common sense. Appear to talk to yo based on a crib sheet rather than trying to understand your problem. Great difficulty understanding them when they talk. I assume they are based in india or similar country. Why they cant employ proper english speaking personnel is beyond me. They pass you from pillar to post as no one takes responsibility for your problem. No wonder they appear to be in so much financial difficulty and losing hundreds of thousands of customers a year. The sooner they go bust the better

If I had my way I would give Talk Talk no stars but unfortunately you can't, my issue is that every month I try logging into my account to get Vat invoices but there is always an issue, I have emailed Talk Talk twice with not even a response.
I would advise people to stay clear of Talk Talk and will be adding this to social media sites to warn other people and companies to stay clear
Bosch customer service is shocking
Talk talk customer service is shocking. Very difficult to contact them via their chat line you are in a queue for hours and a waste of time anyway as they do not assist and impossible to contact them by phone. Staff are rude and totally uninterested in doing anything to help. I have had internet issues for weeks and have spent weeks, including whole days trying to resolve with Talk Talk but still have internet continually crashing and no assistance from Talk Talk. I have put a complaint in but it has not made any difference. Avoid!
Worst company ever
This company is absolutely disgusting, I have been dealing with them since june 2025 for somebody I care for, they have been having problems and after being send over to 6 different people they just ended the chat so been ba k in touch ever month since and guess what same thing happens everytime. So raised many complaints to hear nothing back, so changed providers now they want£141 as contract ended but was never getting the service which they paid for, then after another round of trying to speak to someone a case manager came back and said its not there fault but can knock £10 off the amount. Dealing with TalkTalk either on the phone or via chat online is dire at best and is like trying to knit fog. One gets passed from pillar to post and then gets cut off. Avoid at all costs.
No human being to talk to or solution to the problem
I'm writing on behalf of my 85 year old mother who has been without Internet now for nearly a month now but don't know if trustpilot will publish this review even though I have been involved in the contact with talk talk. So the problem started just before Christmas and her router was flashing orange light and no Internet. She phoned them and eventually spoke to a human who told her she had to go through the website. So how do you do that when you have no Internet? I came along and looked at the set up etc of the router cables etc switching off for 20 mins and so on but to no avail. I used my phone data to Contact talk talk to trouble shoot the problem and after nearly 2hrs still no Internet. Anyway my mum had a msg on her talk talk app (using my internet at my home) at say 11.59 (can't remember the day and date)that all was good from there end then another at 11.59 again saying they detected a problem then another msg at 11.59 that it was solved all on the same day then nothing and still no Internet to this day. Either the router is the problem or the city fibre box is the problem. The black box that is attached to the wall all lights are on as they should be. They way she has been left in limbo is disgusting with no follow up whatsoever. She has stopped her direct debit and if this is not sorted by end of the week will cancel at no charge to her the (dis)service and get another provider. Talk Talk (that's an oxy moron) should have a help desk for the elderly and other vulnerable people where you can actually speak to a human being on the phone as most elderly and vulnerable people are not tech savvy. I hope this review is published. I have all my mum's details should talk talk wish to resolve this.

Hi talk talk im back....sadly.
So months after my last review, and the reply that things will get better....
They haven't....my Internet is so slow Amazon pictures think im constantly offline...
Then there is the absolute joy of watching a 3 minute youtube video taking 10 minutes to attempt to show me some drink guys Christmas antics...
I don't ask much....but if it doesn't improve im digging a big (expletive) hole in my garden and burying the box right next to that Alexa that used to annoy me.....talk talk soon I hope.

I have had no broadband for 4 days. I have tried to speak to talk talk every day. I have not managed to speak to a human being yet.
The automated system states my issue has been 'resolved'. Problem is.. it hasn't.
Avoid this company.
Bad customer service complaints
I am writing this review on behalf of my friend, Mrs Jeanne Kamoo, who is over 70 years old and disabled.
Mrs Kamoo had no internet service for two weeks before Christmas. During this time, she struggled repeatedly to speak to someone at TalkTalk or to get an engineer appointment arranged. As a disabled elderly lady, this was extremely distressing for her.
Eventually, an engineer attended the property, but left before fixing the issue. TalkTalk then charged Mrs Kamoo £70, claiming the engineer reported that no one was at home, which is completely untrue.
Mrs Kamoo continued calling again and again to arrange another visit. Finally, on 27/12, an engineer attended and successfully fixed the fault.
On 29/12, I personally contacted TalkTalk and spoke to Samkelo Mlotshwa from Customer Services. He promised to raise a case and call Mrs Kamoo the following day to resolve the issue.
This promise was not kept.
Today is 8/1/2026, and no one has contacted Mrs Kamoo. She is still being:
• Charged £70 unfairly
• Charged for two weeks of internet service she did not receive
• Left to repeatedly struggle with customer services
Mrs Kamoo suffers from heart failure, and this ongoing situation has caused her significant stress and anxiety. The way TalkTalk has handled this case, particularly involving a disabled elderly customer, is unacceptable.
I need all the above cutie to be removed and discounted Mrs Kamoo bill

Absolutly terrible.they have changed contact number so it now cists a fortune to ring them and they are all either deaf or stupid!!! Its time they were regulated or sorted by someone who can take them to task absolutely disgusting. Do NOT sign up with them.

Been with them now for 4 years. No real hitches in that time but today has shocked me at the level of customer service i received I could not be resolved by the agent who asked questions that had no bearing on the problem .
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when dealing with TalkTalk.
I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with TalkTalk broadband. My trust in this company has been completely broken after discovering that my service was transferred to Utility Warehouse without my knowledge or consent. At no point did I agree to switch providers, nor was I clearly informed that this transfer would take place.
Even more concerning is the fact that my bank details were transferred without my consent. This is unacceptable and a serious breach of trust. Customers should never have their personal or financial information shared or moved without explicit permission.
The lack of transparency, poor communication, and disregard for customer consent is shocking. This experience has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience and shows a complete lack of respect for customer rights.
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when dealing with TalkTalk. This has been one of the worst broadband experiences I have ever had.
Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service! So hard to get anything resolved and cannot speak to anyone! Worst company ever! DO NOT use their services!!

If I could rate it lower I would. They're called TalkTalk because you spend hours talking to a robot and eventually a 'customer agent' that is inept and will outright lie to you. Spend an extra £3 and go with a fair better company. TalkTalk are a waste of time and money.
Awful company
I am furious with this company! Had an issue with my WiFi hub. Reported it and chatted to an agent online but kept getting disconnected from the chat as talktalk kept logging me out. Kept attempting to reconnect. Issue did not get resolved. Gave up in the end. Spent 2 months continuing paying the Internet bills for internet I was not using. Reported the issue again (now 2 months later). Spent 3 hours talking to an agent. Kept getting logged out. Over and over and over again. Kept having to log myelf back in. Agent kept telling me to stay connected. Issue not resolved after 3 hours and many log ins. Agent said they would send an in home guide to help me identify issue. It never came. Got logged out AGAIN. (You get logged out every 15 minutes.) Eventually was told by website I could no longer log in due to suspicious activity from too many attempts to log in. Issue is not resolved again. I have wasted so much time. I have been paying for internet I cant use plus my own mobile data so I can actually connect to the Internet. I am furious at how this has been dealt with and the hours and money that has been wasted! Awful awful awful experience. Do not use this company!

Do not trustI have had an ongoing issue since 22Nov. 2025 after leaving Talk Talk after over 20 years of loyalty. I left 3rd Oct 2025 They claim that I have not returned their router. This was returned in the packaging supplied by them with their tracking number via their courier I paid early termination fees of £368.12, final bill which cleared my bank 5th Nov I waited a week, then cancelled my direct debit. 22 Nov almost 7 weeks later billed a further £72.00 for non return of their equipment. (requested by Talk Talk for recycling purposes I have also been overcharged for the past 7 months by £12.74 per month as per my contract. Last email received Christmas day ... The phone number and web site supplied are not available. Sickening I have sent further emails requesting to speak to someone in authority, still nothing. Now forced to take further action

Talktalk nightmare in October 2024 I cancelled talktalk…
In October 2024 I cancelled talktalk Internet because we were moving house. Then we got a new service with them in our new house but realised a few months later we were still paying for the old Internet we'd cancelled. Phoned them up after 90 minutes got no where. So we went to our bank and took out a direct debit indemnity which got our money back. Now talktalk are sending threatening letters saying if we don't pay the money back with intrest they'll pass us over to a debt collector. When all we'd done was get the money back that they took from us. this has caused my wife to very nearly have a break down. Talktalk should be stopped from operating
