We hired the 505 with the double bed…
We hired the 505 with the double bed that lowers from the ceiling, however it was disappointing that it didn't lower to the table / seat height.
Otherwise first class.

Thanks for taking the time to post a review CJ. The electric bed is designed to be accessed by a short ladder and rest at a level such that other occupants can sleep in the lounge bed beneath. We're sorry if you found this a little disappointing, it may be worth looking at an alternative model next time such as the Voyager 494 with a fixed double bed at low level. We're glad that you enjoyed the experience overall.

The staff were very helpful they made the handovers bother out and back in quick and precise but still very relaxed and informative. This was my first time driving a motorhome but the staff made me feel comfortable. They would be our fist choice when we do it again. Thanks

An exceptional motorhome company
We had an absolutely fantastic experience hiring the motorhome from Swift Go for a trip around Europe. From start to finish, everything was excellent and the motorhome was perfect for our adventure.
It was comfortable, reliable, well-equipped and gave us the freedom to explore Europe at our own pace. We travelled through some amazing places and made memories that we’ll never forget.
The whole experience was brilliant, and we wouldn’t hesitate to hire from them again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great motorhome and a hassle-free experience!

Friendly staff who remember us
Friendly staff who remember us from previous years. Easy to book. Well prepared low mileage very recent vehicles. Convenient location as we live about a mile away but also close to a supermarket to fill the tank on return.

Very good experience with Swift Go…
Very good experience with Swift Go Edinburgh. The advice and information before arrival were helpful, and they were even able to take care of us earlier than planned — thank you for that.
The handover was excellent, and returning the motorhome after our trip was simple and completely hassle-free.
The motorhome was in very good condition, clean and well prepared. I also appreciated the small practical touches, such as having a few basic tools on board, plus free Wi-Fi and GPS.

Mixed Thoughts
Nice Motor home , however it woke us up three nights doing strange things. Alarms going off. Locking and unlocking on its own. Dashboard lighting up as if the computer was trying to re boot. No hot water or heating twice. We had to search on google to find where trip switch was for this fault. Driving slowly along camp sit. Van did an emergency stop for no reason. One night awake until three am due to van doing strange things. Did spoil our trip a little as never knew what it would do next. Reported all faults to staff when we returned it to the unit.
We took it around the NC500.

As newbies, we felt as we were in good hands with the support structure from SwiftGo Manchester. Great handover experience and the MH itself was the main part of our adventure. We loved it! Well done SwiftGo!

Wrap up well
Office staff were pleasant. The vehicle (494) was nice to drive but was given to me with a faulty heating system which constantly shut down after about 15 mins of use. The company were notified on day 3 of my hiring and they gave me a "quick fix" solution to try and override the fault. This didn't work. On returning the vehicle the company had known of this problem in this and other vehicles. No heating is a disaster both for room temperature and hot water. To hire out this vehicle with this known problem was WRONG.

Hi Michael, we're sorry you experienced some issues with the heating system and we appreciate that it's a genuine inconvenience to not be able to reliably draw on hot water and space heating. The system is not faulty as such but can produce some error codes from time to time which need to be cleared correctly in order to reboot. We are working closely with the manufacturer to bed in this new product and support our customers appropriately but we have obviously failed to meet your expectations on this occasion. We hope that you enjoyed your holiday overall and that you will hire from Swift Go again in the future.

We had a great week in Scotland. Martin was very helpful from initial booking until drop off. The motor home was perfect. Well presented, clean with all the accessories and features required. I would (and have already) recommend Swiftgo for the perfect Scottish break. I’m looking at booking again for next year.

i BOOKED a 4 night break for myself and…
i BOOKED a 4 night break for myself and my wife and grandson, we could only manage two day's due to unforseen circumstances, my son in lay was taken seriously ill, as we brought the motor home back 2 days early i thought this would work out for a small refund as i paid a lot of money for this brake we got back at 10.am with no problems and i was spoken to by a meber of staff \who was very understanding, and told me if we booked again to see him and he would give us 100, pound off the next booking, this just left me with a very bitter taste on my mouth. as specifically they got it back 2 hole days early.

We’re very sorry to hear that your family circumstances meant you had to cut your holiday short, and we hope your son-in-law is doing better.
We completely understand how disappointing it must have been to return the motorhome earlier than planned. However, once a hire has commenced, our terms and conditions do not provide for a refund for unused days, including where a vehicle is returned early due to unforeseen circumstances. This is because the motorhome has been reserved exclusively for the duration of the booking and the associated costs and commitments remain in place.
We were pleased that the motorhome was returned safely and without any issues, and our team member’s offer of £100 off a future booking was intended as a gesture of goodwill.
We appreciate that this may not have been the outcome you had hoped for, but we do hope you’ll consider hiring from us again in the future.

We understand that awnings are a nice feature but when we have fitted them in the past they tend to be misused which can cause damage to the canopy or, in some cases, to the roof of the motorhome itself.
