I think they hire people and van, because when I did my move two yrs ago, 2 guy arrived one of them with one beer on hand and both smelling drug. In the transport the legs from my sofa was broken. In the end the total hours was 2.5hrs but he charged 2. Definitely won't use again

All of our movers are fully vetted, trained, and expected to uphold professional conduct at all times. Our top priority is delivering a safe and reliable service for each and every customer.
We could not find any proof that our team was involved in this particular incident. I've used the services of Super Man with a Van three times already and I'm very happy with my experience so far. I'm especially thankful to the last driver who was extremely helpful with loading and unloading my boxes and finished the whole move in very short time.

Please do yourself a favour and don’t use this company- they broke my stairs by dropping a dishwasher (also broken) and have been a nightmare to try and get the issue resolved. I am hundreds out of pocket. AVOID

We would like to provide some clarity regarding your move. Our team of two successfully transported all your items from one house to another in St Albans, handling each item with the utmost care. We use protective blankets in our vans to ensure furniture and appliances are secure and free from damage during transit. Additionally, we include insurance in our quotes to offer peace of mind for all our clients.
Regarding the dryer, while taking it up the staircase, we noted that the staircase already had a visible chip and was quite slippery. The structure also appeared somewhat flimsy. Any further chips may have resulted from these pre-existing conditions as our team carefully maneuvered the appliance. The plastic front of the dryer briefly came off, but there was no damage to either the dryer or the staircase during the process.
We proactively scheduled a follow-up appointment to address any concerns, but Phil cancelled the appointment last minute.
We are available to revisit at your convenience if you would like to inspect or discuss further.

On this occasion I was less than satisfied
I have used Superman with a van 3x before and given 5 star reviews as I’ve been very happy with the service I received.
On this occasion I’m going to give a generous 3 stars.
First of all the drivers arrived 35 mins late, even tho after speaking to them on the phone they said they are only 15 mins late.
The drivers were friendly enough but one of the drivers was quite old and did very little to move any furniture himself.
I did most of the lifting and moving myself.
It took an absolute age to fill the van and because things never fitted in initially, it all had to be taken out on the pavement and done again…. All the time whilst the hourly bill was mounting up.
When I got to the venue for drop off, one of the chest of drawers had a broken wooden panel between the drawers (removed) where they had obviously tried to lift it on that very obvious area of weakness.
The delivery ending up costing me an extra £65 for a 4hr move time. I should have been possible in 2.5hrs fairly comfortably.
As said the drivers were friendly enough, but on this occasion were not very capable.
On another point, Joy always rings the client after the move to ask how it went. If you give her good feedback she sends you a link to leave them a good review. And she literally harasses you with phone calls until you leave a review.
Interestingly, she rang me this time and I made it known I wasn’t too happy, but also made it clear for her to send me the review link. No surprise, she didn’t send the link or harass me to leave a review.
I only got this review link from a past text.
So going on that front, the amount of 5 star reviews are biased towards the good reviews… cos links do not appear to be sent directly if the follow up phone call suggests the client isn’t happy.
Will I use them again? Yes. But on this occasion I was less than satisfied.

The Team arrived on time. They were very careful with the items to be moved, and protected anything that needed protecting. They were very accommodating and moved my things without fuss. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I was very pleased with their friendly and professional service.
