Bought a beautiful Smeg Fridge but when I received the invoice it did not have an ice box although in the advert it looked like it did. I called and Wayne was extremely helpful went to look and check while I was on the phone with him, he said they would refund and cancel the order. 3 hours later the refund had been processed as promised and Wayne said he would inform me if the model I wanted came in ! Can’t fault this company excellent customer service and Thank you 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Purchased a Hotpoint builtin microwave yesterday in a rush and picked it up this morning. I called straight after ordering to make that I'd asked for pickup and not delivery. A lovely lady confirmed that I had and sent really good directions. The whole experience was really good, hepful and happy. Could recommend them more..

One of the ovens in our cooker completely packed up. Shopped around and found some very good deals on theappliancedepot for the type of oven we wanted. Very easy to order on the web site and very very helpful staff in terms of the ordering process and delivery. Appliance was delivered on time. Installation was completed by our regular own electrician and appliance working fine. We would recommend them.

Messed up delivery and the when the delivery did come the driver droped the item on the street and drove off.

The delivery charge is £30 for a microwave so you would hope that you wouldn’t be waiting 10 days for a delivery slot , to compound this the delivery slot is given as 6 am to 6 pm , which is fantastic , you just need to be on standby for 12 hours , no issues at all , it’s not like there’s a full time job to attend to .

Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with for buying appliances.

They sent me a faulty appliance and, instead of simply accepting the return and resolving the problem, I had to repeatedly chase them just to get the product taken back.

I reported the fault promptly, yet they still made the whole process unnecessarily difficult. The level of customer service and lack of basic common sense is shocking.

I have never experienced such poor treatment when trying to return a faulty product. Extremely disappointing and, in my experience, completely unacceptable.

Excellent all round. Competitive pricing, communicative staff, considerate delivery person. Punctual and speedy delivery. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Everything is good, very good costumer support.
Delivery arrived at 6 am instead of the agreed afternoon slot, and the fridge had a couple of scratches when unpacked. However, customer service was brilliant and refunded part of the money on the very same day.

Just stay away from them. They scumbags sending you damaged items. Lying about the delivery days. You wasting all day waiting for the delivery and with out any note they did not come. Lying they been there but when I said I got cctv they said- im not interested in your cctv.
Item is damaged ,by law they must collect and refund within 14 days they did not. Trying to bullying you pretending to be above you,you must do what they say. Just avoid them less stress. Item you are able to get from different suppliers just look around. Item i bought damaged first and not delivery damage and was used even the cable is hanging from it.

Nightmare to replace Tenants' dead oven. £29.99 Delivery was a pain in the neck. Only one delivery slot available every 2-3 weeks, can't give estimated arrival time until the day before delivery. Tenant could not accept delivery on 13th Aug as he had meeting to attend, which might or might not clash with the delivery. I was babysitting in Cheshire, it would have doubled the cost of the oven if I had to pay someone to sit and wait all day for it to arrive so I postponed until 27th Aug so I could take delivery. Delivery driver was supposed to notify 30 minutes before arrival. No phone call but fortunately I went to site half an hour before the estimated delivery time and the van rolled up as I got out of my car! Customer Service and Delivery driver friendly but the delivery system is customer-hostile. Never again, just not worth the aggravation !

We bought a refrigerator in December 2025. It came with a damaged door. We reported it straight away. We finally got a replacement door in August 2026. The company lied, stalled, failed to return calls and showed no intetest in resolving the issue for the 8 months it took to replace the door. If I could award zero stars, I would.

From choosing a Bosch fridge freezer to customer care with professional information. Also the delivery with a half hour warning was spot on. Thank you.

I wish I had read reviews about this company's after-sales service before spending thousands of pounds with them. Buying the appliance was easy. They were friendly, responsive and happy to take my money. Unfortunately, the experience changed completely when I needed their help. After a serious incident involving the oven, I expected the company to stand behind the product and deal with the matter promptly and professionally. Instead, I have been passed from one person to another, met with constant delays, excuses and very little genuine effort to resolve the issue. The true test of any company is not how they treat you before the sale, but how they treat you when something goes wrong. Electrical appliances can develop faults at any time, and that is precisely when you need a retailer with reliable after-sales support. Sadly, in my experience, this company has failed that test completely. I sincerely hope they resolve this matter without any further delay, but based on my experience so far, I would think very carefully before purchasing from them again.

I purchased a brand new grade A cooker hood, item arrived damaged, the company does not reply to your emails. Reading some of the comments on here, others have experienced the same.

My advice is stay clear!!!

Firstly, the product itself. We bought a "Lightly Used Smeg CPF92GMX 90cm Stainless Steel Portofino Dual Fuel Range Cooker (CH-4608)".

The oven seemed in good condition until we unpackaged it and found one of the over doors had new glass fitted and the door hinge bent, so the door doesn't sit flush when closed. This damage was not stated on the web page, or shown in the pictures, of the product before we bought it.

Secondly, the delivery service. Appliance Depot only offer one delivery day every fortnight. Yes you read that correctly (for me, it was only every other Friday, which means good luck finding installers to come on the weekend).

The delivery driver refused to bring the cooker into the house, saying that the front door was too narrow (it wasn't), and then saying that he lacked the correct equipment to help me (maybe bring the correct equipment with you mate?). Dumped it on the drive and left - it's a 90cm range cooker weighing about 60KG, easily a 2 man job to lift it inside.

With the help of a neighbour got it into the house, only to find that 2 of the 4 feet were missing, plus the gas hose adapter fitting. Fair do's, the company sent these by next day delivery, but by then it was too late the installers had already been and gone, leaving me out of pocket for a call out charge.

Conclusion: All in all a terrible experience using this company. The ovens have unrecorded damage on them, they don't take care to make sure everything required for an installation is in the package, and their delivery does the bare minimum and doesn't care about you as a customer. AVOID.

AVOID!!! We bought an new A graded smeg range cooker from appliance depot. When it arrived, the damage was significantly more than had been indicated in the photos on the website. We hoped it was only cosmetic and had an electrician install it only to discover it didn't work. A smeg engineer was sent out to fix it but he said it was unrepairable and had major internal damage. Appliance Depot agreed to collect it and refund us, however, we had to pay the electrician to disconnect it and reconnect a new one and we also had to pay someone to carry the broken cooker downstairs for us as appliance depot will not collect from anywhere other than the ground floor. All in all it cost us more than just buying a new cooker directly from Smeg as well as a lot of stress and an additional week with no cooker. Throughout this we didn't get a single apology from anyone at Appliance Depot. I think it is the bare minimum for them to test appliance before they sell them.

Item arrived severely damaged in transit and they are refusing to return. Avoid at all costs - total scam.

They are relying on the fact the web page mentioned damaged outer boxing, however it also states that the item will be repackaged for safe delivery, the delivery box was severely damaged, so this clause would not cover the new damage as experienced in transit.

Great communication throughout the process once my order was placed. Order delivery was also great.
