Easy booking for students wishing to…
Easy booking for students wishing to have flatmates. The owner is easy to reach and here to communicate with you. You have housemaids and a modern and lovely and furnished appartments not too expensive for some being located in city-centres, as was my experience in Prague. Don’t hesitate, it is the best option as a student!

Great service and communication

I lived in Heroísmo Coliving for 5…
I lived in Heroísmo Coliving for 5 months. The room was furnished as shown on the website, and the overall living conditions in the apartment were decent.
On the downside, communication with the owner was very poor. We had to wait over 3 months to change kitchen equipment such as a frying pan. Additionally, at the beginning there were only two drying racks available for 13 residents. Although we eventually received more after requesting them, it took around 3 months for this to happen.
The cleaning service was also disappointing. The cleaner often did not respect our private space, rearranging personal belongings according to her own preferences. Moreover, many areas were frequently overlooked during cleaning.
On the positive side, I am very grateful to Student Room Flat. They supported me during an unfortunate accident, fully understood my situation, and allowed me to adjust our agreement in a way that worked in my favor.

Market Flat in Prague
I lived in the Market Apartment in Prague during my Erasmus and had a great experience. The booking and communication with landlords was super easy and the flat is in a perfect location to explore the city! We got help quickly when there were issues in the house and I received my deposit on time.

Not recommand
I lived in Prague for 3 months, and I strongly advise anyone looking for housing here to think twice. It took them six months after my lease ended to return my deposit, and the entire experience was incredibly frustrating.
The living conditions were far from ideal—the Wi-Fi was non-functional for the duration of my stay, and despite multiple reports, it was never repaired. Many other fixtures in the flat were also in very poor condition. To make matters worse, half a year after I moved out, they insisted on deducting 3,500 CZK for "wall repainting." These marks were already there when I moved in, and I have timestamped photos to prove it. I contacted them immediately for help, but unfortunately, despite being aware of the situation, they seemed to overlook the issue and failed to intervene in this unjustified deduction by the landlord.
The contract clearly states that any damage must be reported within 15 days of move-out, yet they waited six months to claim this fee without providing any official invoices. If you don’t want to spend months struggling to get your money back from an unresponsive landlord and a platform that fails to protect its tenants' interests, I suggest looking elsewhere.

To clarify, Student Room Flat (SRF) is a booking platform and does not directly manage properties, carry out repairs, or make decisions regarding deposit returns or deductions. However, as soon as this matter was raised with us, we immediately contacted the property manager to follow up and request clarification.
Based on the information shared with us, the reasons for the delay and the charges applied had already been communicated to you directly by the property manager. We understand that waiting so long for your deposit return was frustrating and understandably had a negative impact on your overall experience.
While matters related to maintenance and deposit settlements remain the responsibility of the Host/property manager, we always aim to respond promptly, follow up on concerns raised with us, and help keep communication open between both sides. Feedback like yours is important to us, as it helps us improve our service, address concerns with our hosts, and work toward a better experience for future tenants.

RUINED MY ERASMUS
The absolute worst experience I have ever had with a service. Spent 4 months living without hot water, black mold in my room that made me have to get medical help, no internet whatsoever in the room, broken appliances, leaks everywhere in the house (it was basically raining inside) and little to NO help from anyone. I had to stay in an airbnb for the last month because it was absolutely unlivable.
Don't be fooled, the owners of the house are the CEOs of Student Room Flat, which means they have no interest in helping you, only in taking advantage of students. They ignored most of our complaints and requests and tried blaming us for most of them.
I started negotiating ending the contract early because of the amount of unresloved issues in my room. They proceeded to deny these issues multiple times in spite of the photos and videos I continually sent. I spent over a month emailing the owner over and over trying to reach an agreement, only to receive very rude and dismissing responses everytime. I even had to resort to a lawyer to email her, who she proceeded to ignore.
I lived in CAMILO CO-LIVING with almost 20 roommates, most of them had similar experiences to mine. The house is very old, full of mold everywhere, broken and leaking and with strong structural damage. They claim to have fixed it, I think it should be demolished.
I can confidently say that Student Room Flat ruined my erasmus, a very big part of my time was worrying about dealing with them, living with the mold or trying to find a place to have a hot shower. Don't be fooled by the years old videos they post on instagram, where they delete or deactivate the comments.
Absolute scam. They should be ashamed of themselves.
PD: Notice how some of the 5 star reviews are from people who work for them...

We’re sorry to hear you feel disappointed about your Erasmus accommodation experience.
We do want to clarify an important point: Student Room Flat (SRF) is a booking platform. SRF is not the property owner/manager and does not carry out repairs or on-site maintenance. These responsibilities sit with the Host/property management.
That said, because we take all feedback seriously, we contacted the Host regarding the concerns mentioned in your review. We were informed by the Host that:
- Your request to end the lease early was made late in the contract period and, under the lease terms, it was not legally acceptable to terminate at that stage without an agreement in line with the contract.
- They indicate that no issues were reported to them at the level described until the moment the early termination request was raised.
Repairs were requested and, according to them, completed when reported
- They acknowledge there was a leak following the heavy rains and storms in recent months, and state it was repaired weeks ago. But it did not concern your room. It concerned a room that was closed for repairs.
- They deny that there was mold in your room.
- They also state they communicated with you and addressed the issues that were raised.
We understand this is a frustrating situation. If you have any other questions or remarks, or if you’d like us to review your booking file and the messages exchanged with our support team, please contact us directly through Support and include your booking reference.

My experience in Porto
I had a pretty good experience in Porto with StudentRoomFlat. My shared apartment in Barros Lima was renovated and had heating, which was really nice given the weather in the city. A cleaning lady came every week. The only negative point for me was the laundry room, as there was only one dryer for the entire building and nowhere to hang laundry outside or inside. I had to pay several times the dryer at a laundromat to get my clothes dry (the air is very humid in Porto in winter). Other than that, I would like to point out that their representative, Andréas, was very responsive and attentive to my requests. Thank you to him :)
