Hi stoke council, why send the food waste van around to collect in st44fr when you haven sent the bins!!

You report a fault, first they try to blame Severn trent, despite actually Severn Trent respond and action when it's their problem, reported a blocked storm drain after being passed from department to department in October initially, the road is now crumbling because it's been left so long and floods occur at the bottom of the road. Fix the problems when they occur and not after they damage everything else.

No bins collected 4 days, now Friday so be next week maybe, add insult to injury, the clowns in charge sent a wagon round to collect the brown bin, every blue bin was out and full and ready to collect, only 3 brown were out as its winter, so poor weather is no excuse. Clowns on a lot of money per year who haven't a clue. Might as well put itchy and scratchy in charge. Absolute joke and well earned review score

Useless council. Paying council tax for nothing! Bins never collected on time and not kept informed of collections. Rude staff! Nothing ever progresses with council and council tax is paid for nothing. Anything reported is never addressed!

Stoke-on-Trent social services are a disgrace , failures to children and the cover up historical child abuse case just like they did with me

Freedom of speach you can't delete a review because you don't like the truth your services have failed to protect me and don't worry ill post you everywhere else you've allowed child abusers to abuse me . That you employed and you paid them to do a job. the job was to care not to abuse . I have sustained horrific abuse at the hands of theses child abusers. I have sustained horrific injuries that now have turned in to scars . Your department have had plenty of letters and emails sent which has been recorded your department has failed to respond the only thing safeguarding has admitted to is they have all my Injuries on file apart from My burns 🔥 now why would that not be oh like the police said you weren’t doing your regular cheack on me that's the reason why they had got away with abusing me in the first place. your department had employed someone who had manipulated your system and did you all know your department and tax payers money had paid of the child abusers .mortgage how did you think they paid their mortgage off by milk lids .don't think so .and one of the foster so called carer's you left .me with .is a self confessed alcoholic and I evidence of this has. well These are very serious concern your department had put me in grave danger. Your department had sent me an emile this year .inviting me for a meeting stating it was in my best intrest has a victim of childhood trauma I dont believe this action was appropriate I had sent an email I had response back saying she would pass my email and the director would be in touch. in due course. We'll five months on and I not had any response so tonight I had sent another email to the same person. I wont be going in to great detail about the horrific abuse I sustained. 😢 but let me tell you life is a struggle . So what do we do about my broken nose what hasn't heeled correctly so the child abusers you employed .the self admitted alcoholic who broke my nose. Whose paying for the medical bill your self or the (employer. child abusers ) you hired and you were paying 🙄 which is an insult to myself and to tax payers .I would like to know who inflicted burns on me has a child. What I now is social services and the police have covered historic child abuse up . And after doing my own research it turns out social services have coverd up more historic child abuse cases so I am not the only one. They done this to. So has child I sustained horrific Injuries that now have turned In to scars 😢 I had to steal food from school has I was always hungry . . Well now I am a mother in my own rights . My kids haven't stolen food nor had any injuries also I haven't abused drugs or been In trouble with the law. I want to make a change and do somthing positive. So unless social services don't comply !I I might confer with other victims 😔

I sold my property on the 10th of July and after asking my conveyencer to chase a date up from my buyers solicitors for the Searches for my property they have now come back with the 16th October, I presume that their buyer will also be waiting exactly the same amount of time... which will be 4 months and quite frankly is totally unacceptable by anyone's standards... this "New System" the Council have implemented is clearly not fit for purpose and the Old system should have been used until the new system was fully upto scratch... that's what a logical person/organization would do but not here they decide to use a new system and bin the old system off completely knowing that any new system will have major problems as we're witnessing now... as a result of this people could be in danger of loosing the sales on their properties which is totally unforgivable... plus ontop of this people are paying £330 for their searches when in reality due to these ridiculously long delays they should be getting a massive discount for this inconvenience... one final point heads should be rolling over this as it's a catastrophic error that could easily have been avoided...

This Is a very accurate assessment of stoke on Trent in general ,the city is cesspit of cocaine ravaged shite House's who have a multitude of of normalised mental health issues basically a reflection of this shit dump country called Britain .

As somebody who is born and raised in stoke and have also lived in many different city's, stoke council have just stood by and let all the towns slowly die off. They cripple small businesses with tax and rents, they charge extortionate council tax and yet all the services have gone, no more street sweepers or local bobbies on the best. But there's no shortage of traffic wardens extorting the few people who dare to venture into the cess pool of hanley. There was a time u would be swarmed by police if you were caught drinking a bottle of lager in town centre and yet people just sit there shooting up and popping pills in plain view of police and cctv. Then we get onto the famous roads. I would put the roads on the same level of quality as driving through war torn Baghdad, awful, potholes, crumbling tarmac, roadworks everywhere and an insane traffic flow that's designed to make it as difficult as possible to get to the town centre. Stoke on trent could still be saved if the criminal council are held to account.

Parking enforcement jobsworths issuing tickets on at Johns carpark people beware,no wonder stoke is going down hill,suppose they have to hit there quota somehow and at Xmas aswell,parked in a space was 5 minutes late other cars parked there aswell no tickets avoid this place

This council is an absolute joke, won't do anything unless it has a start stop button on it. £40 a year to empty brown bin waste, which is now full of the council's trees leaves waste, none of mine. 2 pensioners cleaning leaves up last week, appalling. If you complain there's some bs answer then close the case. What is wrong with you people.
Even staff tell you , good luck with that and laugh when you say you've complained. They do nothing and still take council tax .

The council have been sent a breach of conditions letter for planning that they themselfs are in breach of and they lied saying that the breach had been sent to the enforcement team to deal with when it hadn't , they decided to investigate it themselfs which they by law shouldn't do has they arent impartial, what they should have done was sent it to the inforcement team and informed the head of service at the council. I informed him but now they still aren't investigating the breach of planning and this is causing serious health issues. It's not the first time I've caught them telling lies and they have been found out so I wouldn't trust as far as I could spit. Seeking legal help at the moment to get this sorted. Not sure about the dates this last few month though.

Absolutely appalling - driving to Stoke Station this morning. We’ve lived in the area for years and know the roads like the back of our hand, and it was still *impossible* to work out what the diversion signs were telling us to do, twice round the one way. What was wrong with the old drop-off point opposite the statue on Station Road? Please get this fixed!

Have been trying to get the council to regularly empty bins for a severely disabled lady. The bins are only collected about half of the time despite an agreement with the council. When the bins are emptied they are often left on the street rather than the purpose built hard standing conversion of a terraced house front garden from where they are taken. The bins are often left open to fill with rain (this is the only bin left like this - quite overt discrimination by the bin men).
Most worrying of all is when they leave the bins in the pathway up against the front door trapping the lady in the house.
I have spoken to Rob Vernon about this many times over the years and on many occasions to Councillor Jellyman. I have had no response whatever to my communication with the head of the council.
The lady is now frightened of the bin men.

Just called about housing benefit review. Answered within 5mins. Spoke to a very nice and helpful lady. Could not have done more me. every thing sorted in no time at all..
Shame I didn't get her name.

IN BUSINESS, YOU CANNOT ENTICE OR COMMIT “ RAILWAY FRAUD” BY PROMISING FOSTER CARERS AND MANIPULATE SITUATIONS SO FOSTER CARERS KEEP CHILDREN , WHILST YOU FIND A CHEAPER OPTION LIKE MATCH FOSTER CARE ETC.

ALL SOCIAL WORKERS NEED STOP LYING, ENTICES FOSTER CARERS TO KEEP CHILDREN WHILST THEY FIND CHEAPER OPTION… OH THAT INCLUDES LETTING CHILDREN SLEEP ON FOSTER CARERS SOFAS!!

Took my waste bin without notifying me and I have had no end of trouble trying to get it back! Still no bin! I pay council tax. Shocking! They get away with murder!

I'm sorry for always feeling I'm moaning about companies and services but things are just awful out there. I've just put the phone down after waiting 59 mins and 15 secs to get through to the Council help line. I was going to stay on but I get charged massively by the phone company after an hour! Anyway the reason I was trying to call them was a bulky waste collection. I'd tried to book it on line but none of the drop down lists were anything close to what I wanted to book a collection for. I'd already paid someone £100 to break up two big book cases and get them outside for me because the Council will not collect anything bigger than 6x4ft. I have no children or neighbours to help so I accept I have to pay for everything. Now if I can't get through to the Council I'm going to have to start paying some man with a van who'll take my broken up book cases God knows where and I'll end up with a fine for fly tipping! If I leave the things outside I'm in breach of my tenancy! You just can't win even when you are trying to do it right. Oh and I'm on here too because the Council's internal system won't log that I waited an hour because I gave up - in fact I probably count as a satisfied customer!
