Please please please do yourselves a favour and dont order off this lot I got 4 different delivery dates over the course of a month but never arrived all I got was excuses, Promises and lies got sick of being stuck waiting in the house for orders that never arrived so when I got a message saying someone would be in touch to arrange delivery just told them to forget it and got my money refunded through PAYPAL . I was told they were closing for 3 weeks to sort out the backlog but during that 3 weeks I was still getting bombarded with emails with offers for meat so definitely not closed just another lie pity because I have spoken with the owner on previous orders and genuinely seems decent lad and the meat was good.. But definitely not worth the hassle will need to look elsewhere..

Placed an order before Xmas. A couple of items were missing and on the delivery note it stated 'refund'. I did not receive the refund of £40.75 and I started emailing them in December, again 23rd January. Martyn emailed back saying he would pass it on to the accounts. Still nothing, now they are ignoring my emails. I am so disappointed, I have used them for a number of years.

Just terrible service all over. Missed delivery's, no communications and promises that are not kept. This company is just not worth the time or effort.

They have never returned my emails their phone is always busy promise calls to arrange delivery date as I’ve slipped through the net never happen.
I think its time to go to Trading Standards for miss selling a product also Paypal for a refund for not receiving my goods.

Had an email asking for a review. Still waiting for my order.

Order not delivered on the scheduled date, nor on 2 more dates advised by them.
Owner (James) sent email and WhatsApp messages apologising and advising authorised Sat delivery, and still failed to be delivered. Then said Weds - and failed to arrive again.
Gurantee it will be with you on Weds - failed again
The meat is really good quality - but now 22 days overdue.
I hope they sort their problems out - but last 4 orders failed to arrive on due date - and can't just accept fresh meat is sent whern you feel like.
Plus they don't answer the phone, and even voice mail advises box is full.

order finally arrived on 6th March - 23 days after it was due.
As usual Product is first rate, but customer service & logistics is shocking and getting worse each time I place an order.

What a disgrace. I ordered products from them and paid but when i looked at my account its said i had no orders with them. Even today it says the same. I have emailed them and tried to phone them and just cannot get in touch. It just looks like they have taken my money and run. Will NOT be using them again

I tried to call, email time and again without receiving a reply. I tried to alter my delivery due to a clash of commitments- again zero response.
I therefore CANCELLED my order but again received zero acknowledgement of cancellation or any communication in any format whatsoever. Hugely unprofessional to the level of incompetence.
Let’s see if an order turns up when I’m away.

Ordered on 3rd Feb. for delivery on 11th for a specific event. Have phoned numerous times but no answer and mailbox is full. Filled in their online form and the PayPal one but, no reply.. They are still sending out marketing emails!! How they can fulfil these when they can't deliver earlier orders? 3rd March today and still nothing and no refund which was requested 2 weeks ago. Do not use this company, there are plenty of others around

Avoid... Appalling customer service, shop somewhere else. Never received an order placed in mid January. Despite sending multiple emails, messages via their website and attempts to get through via the phone, I have had no contact back from them about the order let alone a refund. But they continue to send me several "offer" emails everyday

Placed an order Dec 25 spent £197. only half of the order arrived (late). Despite promises that the rest is on its way we are still waiting. Excuse after excuse then stopped responding all together to our queries. The meat is great if it arrives but I would not buy from this company again we have sadly been ripped off.

Ordered on 28/12/2025. Money taken, numerous failed delivery dates. Emailed, telephoned and used WhatsApp, promised resolution. Now being ignored! Have been a loyal regular customer. No more! Payment has been escalated for refund.

Please please do not use these. They are dishonest and crooks
They take your payment but do not deliver your goods

four delivery dates given by email and phone and all missed. Latest email said they would phone today to arrange yet another date but that has not happened either. Order placed 3 weeks ago. I have been a regular customer and accepted delays several times but I am afraid this is likely to be the last straw! New feedback setup by whatsApp not working either.
Later, further three promises to delivery not done so cancelled order and advised them they have lost another regular customer.

I placed an order on 6th for valentines time which has never arrived. I filled in the form for a refund and am still waiting. The owner sent an email stating they were restructuring and doing a new website and things would be back to normal. While waiting for my refund I stupidly placed a second order and this didn’t arrive either. You get no reply to emails. Telephone goes to answer machine which states is full My next step will be to complain to my credit card company. Whatever you do do not use this company

If I could put zero stars I would .
I ordered from Stilton butchers on the 10th Jan 2026 money was taken , delivery was arranged for following week order didn’t arrive I telephoned and spoke to someone and arranged delivery the next week this has still not been delivered . I asked for a refund on the 10 th Feb 2026 despite many assurances when I have been able to speak to someone I still don’t have my refund and it’s now 27th Feb 2026 .

Order placed 07/02/26. £165.93. Delivery for 18/02/26. That afternoon, the 18th,after waiting in all day email contact giving a new date of 26/02/26. That was yesterday, no delivery, late afternoon an email stating I would be contacted 27th, today. So far, nothing and it's now 1540hrs, X2 days lost wages waiting in so far.
I have emailed, 3 times, rung, numerous times and used the what's app group as suggested by them, all to no avail.
Used them before, will NEVER use them again.
My question is, have they gone into receivership. I did ring Minerva house their accounts people who sounded cagey and would not as expected confirm or deny anything.
I would strongly suggest you do not buy from them as it's a complete debacle, so wish I'd paid heed to others. 😞😞

Could be a scam !! I placed my order and paid the £5.99 delivery charge. They failed to deliver and did not respond to multiple e mails. Called several times and it went to voice mail. The mail box was full so unable to leave messages. Claimed a refund via PayPal. The scam could be I only received credit for the goods and not the delivery charge. £5.99 x 1000’s orders makes a lot of money for doing nothing !!!

This is the worst company ever. After placing an order on 21st January, 4 promise dates for delivery and several requests for a refund and I have not got my goods and I have not got my refund, it's now been over 4 weeks. Absolutely disgusting way to treat customers. I will definitely not be using this company ever again.
