I Visited Fareham showroom for samples, and was assisted by a lovely young lady who was very helpful (did not get her name)
stunning range of tiles. we opted for the Arebescato viola for our downstairs bathroom and we are thrilled with the stone. We will be using Starel stones for future projects.

I live in Guernsey so getting access to good tiles was a pain. These guys were very accommodating the whole way to project completion

Had a lovely experience with Steve. He dropped off a vanity unit and helped us so much. Please give Steve my thanks for how much help he was.

Steve did an excellent delivery job of our tiles. He was friendly and professional, and tried his best to zig zag through the driveway to get to the house. Highly appreciated! He left the item as close to the house as he could, which is very helpful. Excellent!

After several sample orders which all came very quickly we placed an order with Starel and the pencil trims we got were perfect! They look great in our bathroom. Also, when needing to amend our order, Starel were extremely helpful in getting this sorted. Would recommend!

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE
Shocking lack of communication from Patrycja. Took ages to reply to a request for estimate, claimed to have sent a quote “slab proposal” (whatever that is - makes no sense in English!) which she didn’t, when pushed she said I “may” need one slab with no reference to the detailed designer drawings I had sent her and she didn’t even bother to attach an actual price as asked.

They only supply but don’t fabricate or fit - when pushed, Patrycja sent 3 names of people they work with but no contact details, obviously expecting me to do her work for her by trying to google them.

I cannot believe how awful and contemptuous this customer service is. I hate to criticise small businesses as I own one but this company doesn’t deserve to survive given the disrespect they show to potential customers. I cannot imagine how they might treat me if I bought from them and had a problem - given the other comments on here, it looks like they’re either a SCAM company or don’t process refunds which is illegal. Shame.

I note starel has posted a response which doesn’t address any of the issues raised.

The timing of the response was objectively long, it didn’t “feel” that way.

I sent detailed finalised technical drawings with measurements that every other company I approached managed to use to provide quotes and estimate of quantities. If starel cannot or will not use this information to give an estimate - not final price which I didn’t ask for - then that’s a huge flaw of their business model. To be told I “may need one slab” with no effort to give me a cost of how much one slab would be is shockingly unprofessional. Plus Pactrycja didn’t even provide a “slab proposal” even after saying they did!

Finally, Starel’s defensiveness sadly confirms my first impressions. No apologies for the awful service or the waste of my time. Hardly a constructive way of dealing with the issue. No thank you.

Impossible to get in touch with anyone there. We tried to contact them many times before placing an order and it wasn’t possible to reach anyone. I’m now trying to arrange a refund for some items and again impossible to contact anyone. I have filled out an online form, emailed and completed a survey in an attempt to speak to them. Terrible customer service!

I spent days searching for the perfect marble skirtings for my bathroom, and when I finally discovered Starel, it felt like such a relief. Their online selection amazed me — so many beautiful options that I instantly knew I was in the right place. I placed my order straight away, but because our builders were still on site, we desperately needed the delivery sooner than expected.

Even though I had chosen standard delivery, I called the office hoping for help, and that’s when I spoke with Julia. She was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely willing to understand my situation. She connected me with the manager, and together they arranged for my order to arrive the very next day. I can’t express how grateful I was — it truly saved us.

They also took the time to advise me on the right products to protect the marble, which made me feel even more supported. It’s rare these days to find a company where real people listen, care, and go the extra mile for their customers. Starel made me feel valued, not just like another order number.

Thank you for your exceptional service. I will absolutely return for future projects, and I’ll be recommending you to everyone I know.

I tried, as a Interior Designer, to order some free Samples for a Hotel we are currently designing. Starel Stones ask for shipment fees, which is definitely not a problem and then... 2 months later... nothing happened. They never delivered the samples nor answer to my 3 previous emails. I do think it is a scam. They just answer today because I was complaining on Instagram to refund me. Not to provide the samples as ordered and requested BUT to refund me. Is there any stone here?

The marble tiles are so beautiful and so are the arasbecatto pencil trims. Great value and highly recommend.

Ordered (92069) and paid for samples, only some arrived. I emailed on Feb 26 to complain and received a response offering a refund or alternative samples.

I confirmed I wanted a refund and have sent 3 emails chasing this up. Every email is ignored. I've emailed to ask if the inbox is still operating, as I'm not clear if they have closed down due to the lack of response.

We were getting samples to floor our entire home renovation, but at this stage I could not trust them to supply a high price order based on their entire lack of communication.

Terrible experience. 1, refund hasn’t been processed for one month. Still no sign after the whole month. 2, multiple products names don’t go with the pictures of the product. You might have ordered something you think but it might not be the case. Very misleading.

Such an amazing team. From initial contact with Julia over email to arrange for me to personally come down and select my tiles. Then on arrival, I was running late and the team waited for me. I was met by Sophie and she was so accommodating. She stood with me while I selected the tiles at 5.00pm on Friday. Thank you so so much Julia and Sophie. Very kind team.
