Stansted Flight Simulator Anmeldelser

Absolutely fantastic time, so professional and fun, would recommend this to anyone, thanks so much.

When my wife gave me the gift of the flight simulator experience I was a bit confused. I'm not a plane enthusiast nor have I ever dreamed of flying. But what the heck, a gift is a gift. I'll see what it's like.

So we went at the appointed time and waited outside as we were a bit early.

Before long a wonderful gent came outside to greet us. You could tell right away he was or had been a pilot. He stood ramrod straight and had that air of calm and class that all pilots seem to have in abundance

The experience began with what I can only describe as an amazing experience filled with remembered stories of past events during flight and a further chats throughout a very educational and FUN experience.

(Side note: the next day we flew out of Stansted and I was remembering the cues the gent had given me during the simulator experience whilst experiencing then in real time during the flight)

Firstly let me say I was so amazed by the realism of the simulator and am not shy in admitting that I was a bit worried that I was to "fly" this thing to Manchester airport and "land" it. IT WAS THAT REAL! and sometimes seeing behind the veil isn't the best thing especially as I was flying the next day for real :-).

The amazingly tactile feel of the controls, the lights, the dials.....I was simply floored at the realism.

The gent went through all the procedures that were previously experienced by myself from behind the pilots wall during actual flights. Such as messages to the flight attendants with the requisite noises from the speakers and then messages to passengers and then others I wasn't such as chats with ground control and flight prep between pilots and co pilots.

Again being a non airplane enthusiast I was worried it would be a constant steam of unrecognisable (to me) words and phrases and I would just go through the motions.

NOT EVEN CLOSE. The gent informed me of the procedures in simple terms and instructed me in what to do to a T.

Simply stated. A FANTASTIC experience.

I don't know how the experience could have been improved short of a bag of peanuts and a cocktail :-)

Honestly an absolute blast and very much a bargain.

I am a real customer. Peter C from Ardleigh in Essex. I can't recommend the experience enough

An interesting fact about the simulator
Is that a friend of the son of the gent who runs it designed and built the machine. I can only say he must be an incredibly smart and talented young man as it is beyond what you can imagine in terms of scope and realism.

10/10!

Amazing experience! Thanks Jonathan!

I had a fantastic experience at Stansted Flight Simulator last week! Jonathan was incredibly kind and patient, explaining everything in great detail (even testing my listening and observation skills in some areas!) Im so grateful for the opportunity, this is as close to my Pilot dream as I will ever get! Thank you so much, I will definitely book again! Gemma

we had an amazing experience. jonathan the captain flying took the time needed to to explain the flight and answered all our questions. this was a christmas gift to me and i LOVED it. we even had the chance to attempt landing the plane visually by ourselves. thanks 🙏🏻, we’ll do it again .

Jonathan was welcoming, patient and thorough in his briefing. It was an amazing experience in the flight simulator handling the controls and we now have even more respect for the expertise and responsibility of pilots and Air crew. A great 80th birthday gift.

I’ve flown various light aircraft and a helicopter. I’ve flown a professional Citation jet simulator. I’ve had the honour to fly the original British Airways Concorde simulator at Brooklands.

However, none of these were as technically challenging and intricate as the Stansted Flight Simulator. I’m sure Jonathan would have made it a lot easier if i hadn’t had some prior experience but I wanted the challenge (so don’t let put you off).

The whole experience from booking (using a gift voucher) through to “landing” back at Stansted was slick.

Jonathan was a great and interesting instructor, helping out where I needed it and taking time to explain many of the functions/features of a modern airliner, which their simulator has many. It’s very realistic.

It was good also that there was no clock watching, which many such experiences do. If we finished late then so be it.

Highly recommended.

Thank you Jonathan for an amazing, immersive experience. From the first enquiry phone call to the end of the experience it was a pleasure dealing with him. I bought this experience for my 'planecrazy' son who is an aviation enthusiast. Jonathan was accommodating in every way and, like us, I'm sure you'll be amazed by the quality of the set up. The life size cockpit has fully working buttons, levers, lights and sounds. The graphics of the wraparound screens are fantastic and you forget your real surroundings while you're flying. As a retired pilot Jonathan was knowledgeable and he was able to explain in simple terms what was going on. I would recommend the two hour experience, if your budget allows it, as the time seems to fly (excuse the pun) and that amount of time allows you to experience different elements of what can, and does, go on in the cockpit. Jonathan encourages attendees to take videos and photos so that you can share your experience with others after the event. We will be back for another experience and my son already has in mind some emergencies that he wants to encounter.

The experience was fantastic. Jonathan was great at explaining everything & guiding me through the flight. It was great fun, I loved it

Thanks Jonathan for a great simulator experience. Very informative and fun. Would definitely recommend.

I brought this as a birthday gift for my husband ,Jonathon fitted us in on his actual birthday which was great as he normally only does one two hour session a day but added us as well which I really appreciated , the experience was great I found myself loving it and asking questions too Jonathon is a really lovely calming guy full of knowledge ! I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone of any age we had a great time and would go back again . 10 out of 10

It was very nice. Thank you very much.

From start to finish Johnathon was amazing. Was very welcoming and informative.

Explained everything and answered any questions we had.

The whole experiance actually felt very real and not like a simulator at all.

Would highly reccomend

An absolutely fantastic experience! I bought a 2 hour flight simulator gift for my 19yo son James and was lucky enough to sit in the jump seat at the back and watch it all. Wow!

Jonathan was so welcoming and knowledgeable and the simulator is amazing! The two hours flew by (pun intended!) and we enjoyed it so so much. I can't recommend this enough. 5 stars for sure!!

What a great way to spend a couple of hours. I received as a birthday gift and thoroughly enjoyed my time as co-pilot. Actually felt I learned a lot during that short time.
would certainly recommend.

Would like to thank Jonathan for taking our little boy who is 5 for a flight and for making his day with a very insightful yet fun flight ,
Can’t recommend them enough if you have the aviation bug

I booked as I had zero experience with the ergonomics and logic of the 73. Jonathan was absolutely fantastic. Not only were they incredibly accommodating when I brought my dad along to watch, but they tailored the 2-hour session around what I needed and wanted. The session ran over because Jonathan wanted to ensure I finished doing everything I had asked to practice. Cannot recommend enough!

Ollie had an amazing experience and has a real passion for flying. Jonathan was great with Ollie and taught him more than he could have imagined in a couple of hours. Would definitely recommend and Ollie will be back

Had a fantastic afternoon at Stansted Flight Simulator. Jonathan was brilliant, explaining everything really clearly, and as a beginner he allowed me do lots of flying without ever feeling overwhelmed by all the controls and instruments. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. Great fun!

The experience was amazing I had the best time . You was amazing explain everything 10/10 stars from Theo . Thank you
