Amazing experience! Thanks Jonathan!

I had a fantastic experience at Stansted Flight Simulator last week! Jonathan was incredibly kind and patient, explaining everything in great detail (even testing my listening and observation skills in some areas!) Im so grateful for the opportunity, this is as close to my Pilot dream as I will ever get! Thank you so much, I will definitely book again! Gemma

we had an amazing experience. jonathan the captain flying took the time needed to to explain the flight and answered all our questions. this was a christmas gift to me and i LOVED it. we even had the chance to attempt landing the plane visually by ourselves. thanks 🙏🏻, we’ll do it again .

Jonathan was welcoming, patient and thorough in his briefing. It was an amazing experience in the flight simulator handling the controls and we now have even more respect for the expertise and responsibility of pilots and Air crew. A great 80th birthday gift.

I’ve flown various light aircraft and a helicopter. I’ve flown a professional Citation jet simulator. I’ve had the honour to fly the original British Airways Concorde simulator at Brooklands.

However, none of these were as technically challenging and intricate as the Stansted Flight Simulator. I’m sure Jonathan would have made it a lot easier if i hadn’t had some prior experience but I wanted the challenge (so don’t let put you off).

The whole experience from booking (using a gift voucher) through to “landing” back at Stansted was slick.

Jonathan was a great and interesting instructor, helping out where I needed it and taking time to explain many of the functions/features of a modern airliner, which their simulator has many. It’s very realistic.

It was good also that there was no clock watching, which many such experiences do. If we finished late then so be it.

Thank you Jonathan for an amazing, immersive experience. From the first enquiry phone call to the end of the experience it was a pleasure dealing with him. I bought this experience for my 'planecrazy' son who is an aviation enthusiast. Jonathan was accommodating in every way and, like us, I'm sure you'll be amazed by the quality of the set up. The life size cockpit has fully working buttons, levers, lights and sounds. The graphics of the wraparound screens are fantastic and you forget your real surroundings while you're flying. As a retired pilot Jonathan was knowledgeable and he was able to explain in simple terms what was going on. I would recommend the two hour experience, if your budget allows it, as the time seems to fly (excuse the pun) and that amount of time allows you to experience different elements of what can, and does, go on in the cockpit. Jonathan encourages attendees to take videos and photos so that you can share your experience with others after the event. We will be back for another experience and my son already has in mind some emergencies that he wants to encounter.

I brought this as a birthday gift for my husband ,Jonathon fitted us in on his actual birthday which was great as he normally only does one two hour session a day but added us as well which I really appreciated , the experience was great I found myself loving it and asking questions too Jonathon is a really lovely calming guy full of knowledge ! I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone of any age we had a great time and would go back again . 10 out of 10

From start to finish Johnathon was amazing. Was very welcoming and informative.

The whole experiance actually felt very real and not like a simulator at all.

An absolutely fantastic experience! I bought a 2 hour flight simulator gift for my 19yo son James and was lucky enough to sit in the jump seat at the back and watch it all. Wow!

Jonathan was so welcoming and knowledgeable and the simulator is amazing! The two hours flew by (pun intended!) and we enjoyed it so so much. I can't recommend this enough. 5 stars for sure!!

What a great way to spend a couple of hours. I received as a birthday gift and thoroughly enjoyed my time as co-pilot. Actually felt I learned a lot during that short time.

I booked as I had zero experience with the ergonomics and logic of the 73. Jonathan was absolutely fantastic. Not only were they incredibly accommodating when I brought my dad along to watch, but they tailored the 2-hour session around what I needed and wanted. The session ran over because Jonathan wanted to ensure I finished doing everything I had asked to practice. Cannot recommend enough!

Ollie had an amazing experience and has a real passion for flying. Jonathan was great with Ollie and taught him more than he could have imagined in a couple of hours. Would definitely recommend and Ollie will be back

Had a fantastic afternoon at Stansted Flight Simulator. Jonathan was brilliant, explaining everything really clearly, and as a beginner he allowed me do lots of flying without ever feeling overwhelmed by all the controls and instruments. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. Great fun!

Absolutely fantastic and highly recommended. My 12 year old son thoroughly enjoyed it and Jonathan was brilliant with him. We did the 30min one, but I have a feeling we will be back for one of the longer experiences soon!

We attended in November. It was a birthday present for my plane enthusiast 10 year old. He was desperate to do a flight simulator he did some research and after lots of searching and realising many don’t take under 14s, he found Johnathan, who was luckily just down the road. We checked with Johnathan that it was suitable for a 10 year old and he said as long as he has a keen interest, then it’d be fine.

Jonathan was great, really good communication right from booking.

My son really enjoyed the experience. His words ‘it was 5 star' The set up Johnathan has is excellent, it really is so realistic. Johnathan was really good at explaining things to my son and testing the knowledge he already had (from playing flight sims at home) and putting it into practice.
My son got to complete a full real time flight from Stansted to Manchester.
