I placed an order for a mug from a creator's storefront on Spring (formerly Teespring) on March 31, 2025. I was charged immediately, and the estimated arrival window was April 11–15. It's now May 21, and the order is still marked as “in production” with no shipping update whatsoever.
I've received no email updates beyond the initial confirmation. The lack of communication and excessive delay is unacceptable for a print-on-demand service. If there were production issues or stock delays, I should have been notified.
At this point, I'm forced to contact customer support and possibly seek a refund. I love supporting independent creators, but experiences like this make it hard to trust the platform again.

I needed some shirts made for an event and the quoted time for delivery was acceptable with some grace period. The later delivery date quoted came and went, with shirts still showing in production. I ended up not getting them in time for the event (never shipped.) Support was not helpfull telling me there was a "backlog" and would not cancel the order. I ended up having to do a charge back with my bank. Absolute nightmare.

I ordered a shirt in November 2024, it's now May and it hasn't even been printed. SIX MONTHS!!! Used to be a good company, now they're scammers.

I have had 6 pending orders since January 1st, and all of them still say "in production." I have contacted customer service multiple times, and while the reps themselves have been nice, they have not been able to provide any ETAs on delivery--just that the company lost suppliers and was trying to catch up. The estimated delivery dates on new orders are inaccurate given that they do not reflect the backlog.

I paid for a tshirt in early February 2025. Sometime later in March, I asked if there were any updates since it had been a month. They gave me a bs reply that was just essentially "sorry we're just soooo busy" in corporate speak. I asked again a month later. Then again the month after that. I would have thought this would be an embarrassment for them but nope, just got the same bs canned response. Decided to file the dispute with my bank rather than ask them for a refund, so they could potentially get hit with a penalty from their merchant service.
It is now mid-May, still haven't seen the single tshirt I ordered. Totally ridiculous! No idea why they are still allowed to take money from people.

I requested a payout on 1/8/2025 and I've been getting the runaround for over 4 months with their support team. All they say is "We're checking with our financial department and will get back to you as soon as possible" only to go weeks without emailing me back. I really want to like this platform, as I've had great experiences in the past, but this leaves such a sour taste in my mouth that they will not pay me the money that I'm owed.

I placed an order in February for two t-shirts and as of May have not received it. When I reached out to support for an update, they cited a production backlog but will not give an updated timeframe to expect delivery and do not communicate proactively in any way - there were no alerts on the website that production would be delayed several months and it in fact said at the time of ordering that I should expect to receive my order in less than two weeks.

Since December 2024 Teespring has not been fulfilling orders. I made an order in February of this year and it has not received it. Customer service cites a delay due to an influx of orders, but considering nobody is receiving their orders, it is safe to say Teespring has become a scam.

I used to be a long time supporter of Teespring. But they have proven to be a sham of a company. Against my better judgement, I opened up a new store on their platform. I then ordered sample products, and even purchased a domain through their system. I check the store today, now the domain no longer works and is stuck as connecting on the dashboard. All of the orders that have gone out of it, including my own have been in production for weeks. Their customer support team? Absolutely silent. No one responds to the chats or emails, despite what the owner's responses to "contact their fan help email". Join others in the class action lawsuit, and bury this company. Don't be like me and misplace your faith in them despite these reviews.

Spring owes me, a creator, a lot of money. I have repeatedly asked why my payout is not being processed and I keep getting automated bot responses that say "We understand the urgency of getting your payout available but I regret to inform you that your payout was not processed on time. My apologies for the inconvenience." This is an ongoing issue and I will no longer be using Spring as a creator. Moreover, the quality of their merch has declined considerably over the last year and their customer service is horrendous. Stay away from this company!
Update 7/7/2025: Spring responded to my initial reviews (the same copy and paste they used with other reviews) telling me they are sorry and to contact their customer service people. I have every other week asking for the money they owe me and I am still getting automated responses that they have not processed my payout and will escalate the request. I have still not received any money that Spring owes me!

UPDATE TO THEIR RESPONSE - Why do you think I went through Amex for a refund? Because you wouldn't refund me. Then you tried to get me to reverse it. Please. Don't throw this back on your customer. You're a scam and your know it. And if you're not and all of this is by accident - you seriously need to reconsider a new line of business.
They wouldn't send my order nor would they refund it despite contacting them multiple times over 8 weeks. I finally disupted the charge with amex which Amex immediately refunded and said they would be contacting Spring themselves. Then spring asked me to reverse the dispute so they could refund me personally. WTF? No. You're on your own with Amex now.

I managed to order the wrong size emailed them and they got straight back to me sending me the right size out quick response
While I was informed by the creator of the product that the item I ordered would be arriving by early spring (ordered last September), I waited an extra while due to understanding shipment costs and such. I reached out to the team with an order number just to do a follow up on if my order went through or what might be taking a minute to receive it. Finally got a team member (goes by Renz) who has been nothing but kind and respectful, making sure to explain the situation and was super friendly! I could wait forever with the great customer service this team has provided me.
Reading some of the negative reviews, some folks have perspectives I have yet to observe with Spring, so as a great reminder to the folks who order from a creator it won't show up on the door tomorrow, and if there is any issues or questions, a nice calm email and some small time will get you what you need.
I requested a payout on March 20 and got an automated email that payouts requested before the 21st would be processed by the end of the month. April 1 came and went, and no payout. May 1 came and went, no payout. The only response to my email has been that they "recently experienced payout delays due to a necessary tech rebuild" and that I should be patient. This is unacceptable. It's *theft*. They owe me money and are not paying.

Thankfully I never made an order through them with their current team and I feel like whoever is running this crap show should not only be arrested but heavily fined for each bit of merch people ordered and didn't receive. DO BETTER

I’ve ran a merch page for 3 plus years and something happened around Christmas 2024. I have had multiple people complaining about delayed issues and not being able to contact anyone. There is no phone number to call? What kind of a company doesn’t have a customer service line. I have a current order that was submitted on February 21st. It’s now may 2nd it’s still in production. I’m still owed money from January and no one ever responds to my chats or emails. This company needs to be investigated

I have been waiting for my order for 4 months and have had to contact support 3 times. The first time they gave me some unhelpful "we're behind on orders" response (that was around 3 months ago), and so I contacted them again like a month and a half later, and NO ONE got back to me. I contacted them again today, and I bet I'm going to get another "we're behind on orders" response. I doubt I'm ever going to receive my order (other people online have said the exact same thing), and I honestly want my money back at this point, but I doubt support would even try to help me with that anyway.

This company is ran by scammers and I hope that the executives are all arrested for fraud. They do not pay out their creators on time and they do not fulfill orders correctly if they even fulfill it at all. Their support team is horrible and does not respond to tickets. I hope the FTC shuts them down and takes every penny from their shitty CEO.

Spring used to be good years ago, but now they're not fulfilling customer's orders nor are they paying out to creators all they do is give scripted apologies and excuses.
