Thank you for your unkind review of our small business based on an issue with the courier during a time of postal strike action. As per our emails, your item is with our courier, the information we have is that your parcel has been delivered. We have opened a case and the “missing order” is being investigated, we have instructed full refund despite your tracking information clearly informing us the parcel arrived.

Thank you for slamming a small business with such haste. Please check your actual order. I have looked into your issue - You have paid £6.50 for Fruit Only. This is what you have received. FRUIT ONLY. Please also check your emails as we had responded to you in order to resolve your “issue” of receiving exactly what you have ordered.
Beware a mail order scam
Beware a mail order scam from this shop. If searching for a product via google, you will be offered SW coast refills as a mail order choice. Naturally you go to the page and purchase the item you’re looking for - entering payment details etc. this all goes ahead, you then receive a refund a few days later but are charged an “administration fee”, because the item was only available for “local delivery” which is entirely undefined - and is mentioned in small print at the very bottom of the product page, though their system will accept payment for any U.K. address.
Either this scam is by design or by an inept system, so be aware, as they do nothing to recitify this, and must be making money out of unwitting customers around the U.K.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY 55 YEARS.I came in for about half an d hour during a coach trip to Weymouth yesterday assistant helped dme find things an d when I asked for something for my tooth enamel she showe d me a glass bottle of pills l an d read out the ingredients for m e a s requested d due to my bad eyesight.(Im 55 with 4 point something eyes.)When I gt home I ate one of the m and it tasted disgusting.It wa stoo large to swallow whole.Then I saw the best before date is July 2022 an d it was 2nd August afternoon when I bought it.It wa s full price.There' s no shop phone number to ring.Iv e waste d about 40 minute s emailing and trying to mak e my sd card reader on my desktop work to send photos an d time writin g this review..I spent over £30 ther e a s I bought other things.They claim they cant do a refund without a receipt but I asked the assistant for a receipt an d she mumbeld something about a machine not working.I told the email lady that an d she said I would hav e been given a handwritten one or emaile d one but the assistant yesterday didn't do eithe r or ask my email address.They ar e saying they wont refund a s they ar e phasing out best befor e dates being shown. This item should hav e been in the reduced section.It cost about £9.99 .I'm very upset.I live far away an d wa s just ther efor a coach trip yesterday and don't drive.They also said they can't refun d as Ive eaten one .It should not hav e been in the full price section

As per our communication to you today, actually quite literally all afternoon - refunds are on a case by case basis. Refunding items has nothing to do with your lack of receipt as per our numerous emails.
You have opened the product, consumed it, chewed it regardless of the instructions and shop assistants endless advice today in store. Yes we will not refund as you by your own admissions “have eaten one”. We aren’t in the habit of refunding items simply because you don’t enjoy the taste. In the above you are incorrect, the product WAS discounted to reflect the short dated shelf life. As per our written communications today, these are vitamin tablets containing vitamin and nutritional supplements. They do not taste delicious and are not intended to be chewed on. They are not toothpaste tablets as repeatedly explained to you in store today. We have been vigilant following your issue and checked all our dental stocks in this range as a matter of precaution despite selling plenty of these products in the past week. Thank you for your feedback.

We have sent multiple emails regarding your recent order to which you haven’t responded to. Please check your spam folder. We sent you a refund a week ago, on June 6 (less than 24 hours after your order was placed) for the items that weren’t eligible for delivery. You have received email notification of this also. You have ordered fresh rhubarb and cheese to be dispatched to Cornwall!
Please check your spam folders. We would also be grateful if you could remove your lousy review slamming our little business considering you ordered products for local delivery ONLY to an address completely outside of the Weymouth catchment and you have only contacted us today, not giving us opportunity to respond. As per the information on each listed product, we do NOT post cheese, margarine and rhubarb. Thank you.

Wasn’t impressed with all the packaging peanuts I had to get rid of
After purchasing some bits from this website I thought it could be a company I would continue using but was very disappointed. The delivery was lengthy and it was very annoying that their packaging came wrapped in lots of packing peanuts that I had to get rid of. ( guidance in how we could recycle these would be helpful) There was other ways they could have packed my items safety using eco friendly materials.

That “Single Use Plastic Packaging” or “single use packing peanuts” as you refer to them, were fully compostable and biodegradable soluble packing peanuts. Sad that you didn’t recognise a very commonly used sustainable packaging or our company ethos and so quick to slam a small business without actually realising what you were purchasing.

Environmentally Friendly Packaging
You will receive your order either in reused, recyclable or biodegradable packaging. We commonly use fully biodegradable packing peanuts to protect Jars and Tinned products. These are plant based and soluble. Most orders are sent plastic-free as standard. If you receive ANY plastic in your parcel it will be from reused packaging (for example plastic tape that was already on the parcel or a bubble wrap from a product return that is being reused).

I'm happy with the veg box I ordered online it contained a good variety of fresh seasonal veg. It was easy to order from their website. When I collected it from the shop the staff were lovely friendly and helpful.

I love this shop
I love this shop, owner and staff are always helpful and friendly and the produce and products are good quality.
I tried the Mediterranean soup kit, good quality ingredients and it made 4 good hearty portions at just over £1 a portion. Though I think this would feed a family of six if including children.
Love the refills, have tried all sorts from the jumbo oats, to fabric conditioner. Some items work out cheaper than the branded items others a little more expensive but if you want to reduce waste and plastic, it’s definitely worth it. The chocolate coffee beans are a must try too!

Get all my refills here so no more plastic waste, great products and lovely people who own/work there. Started getting vege boxes delivered and the contents are great, no plastic and great variety of fresh produce. Can recommend very highly!
