This Company needs to be stopped!!!! the car was left in Sainsburys Car Park, and the police collected up to 15 drivers to take then to find their vehicles....How on earth they carry on doing this is beyond me!!! All i can advise people is, read reviews before handing your vehicle over to anyone...... I looked up this company on companies house, they also dont file their accounts or pay their taxes!!!!!

This so called company operate under at least six different names and all are as bad as each other. Southampton port, AKA, Southampton Valet, Airport parking and various others. Cars if returned at all are often damaged and virtually all owners receive a parking fine from Parking Eye. Cars ares systematically left in Sainsbury's, Tesco or IKEA carparks or simply left on street to be stolen or vandalised. The police have on several occasions been called to try and sort out disputes without success. Avoid these rogues at all costs. Be very aware of above companies and the yellow and green flag. They are vile people that really do not look after your car. Please take heed of the reviews. I would not park my bicycle with them. Mr Clemmence.... left stranded in Ocean terminal on return to Southampton with no car.

The same as other people received parking fine even though when we picked car up do to difficulties as they said we hadn’t paid for parking due to technical problem, after paying again they said that the time limit was increased so we would be fine.

Service should know better, I paid £180 for 2 weeks. When I come home from cruising pick my car up. Then fews days later I got fines pay £60 not good enough this company either sort it out or close down. They should put car number plate to short stay parking to say that knows been paid part of car parking lots. Now getting credit card company against them. Because they haven't answered my calls. Worst service ever

If only I had read this review before I booked and used this Company. The service itself was excellent, and we had no problems with that.
But the £100 parking fine I received a week after I got home was a huge shock!
Unable to get a response from the Company, and I have appealed the Parking Ticket - but I do not expect to be "let off". Fuming!

I booked with Southampton Valet Ltd. (LVT) trading as Southampton Port Parking Services on the 2nd September for a cruise on the 29th September from Ocean terminal (dock gate 4). Arriving and handing over the car was straight forward and issue free. They told me that the car would be back and ready for 9th October between 8 and 8:30 am.
When we disembarked from the ship at 8:30 on the 9th October there was no sign of my car (including 6 other concerned car owners). We all tried contacting the company using the local number and the parent company number in the North West. When contact was finally they were unhelpful (NW number) and made excuses based around broken car park barriers preventing bringing the cars back. Fortunately an on site APB employee came to our aid chasing up LVT. Through him LVT agreed to bring a minivan to the dockside to take the drivers to the storage car park to collect our cars. This was nearby (3/4 mile away) multi-storey car park off West Quay road.
We were told by the van driver that the barriers would open as we left the car park - not so.
The car park operator refused to open the barrier unless we inserted our non-existent tickets and paid up. Soon afterwards some (LVT presumably) guy turned up at the barriers and opened them to let us out. I then drove back to the quay and collected our luggage.
All this took 2 3/4 hours. Fortunately it wasn't cold and it wasn't raining.
Obviously the broken barrier scenario was a lie.
In the meantime a second minivan arrived to carry all the luggage to the multi-storey, but as the cars were now been driven back to the quay this was not used. This minivan driver said that LVT had told him, late the night before, that no cruise ships would be arriving the next day. This could be why the local office was closed and the phone not answered.
Regardless of the reasons and incompetence, it makes a mockery of LVT's statement that "Your booking is very important to us and we aim to make your parking experience as simple and stress-free as possible"

This company left our vehicle in the short stay and so we have received a fine.
They refuse to answer our emails etc and as a result the fine has now increased to £100 .
Fine company don't want to know if we cant name the driver and this company wont respond to us.

Paid for parking and met the shuttle in the designated car park. Then I received a parking fine from First Parking. Upon proof of purchase and payment I was told that the company was not affiliated and that I need to pay the fine. This is a scam and not sure how, despite so many of the same reviews, they are continuing to operate.

I shudder to give them one star. Most unrepeatable company I have ever dealt with. Car damaged whilst parked with them. Emails & videos sent - over two weeks later and still nothing. Now a parking fine whilst we were still on the ship! We didn't even get a call to acknowledge our return pick up information. I too didn't read the feedback - big error.

Total scammers, like other people I received a 100 pound parking ticket on my return. They don't answer phone or web page messages.

If I could give 0 stars I would. These are an absolute shower of rogues and need to be reported! We had major issues on departure when they were not at the car park as agreed to pick up our car. It was incredibly stressful and we almost missed our cruise! Sonny was very apologetic and put it down to our departure gate being changed to QE2 at the last minute due to the storms. 12 days later, having thought it was a smooth return, we picked up our car successfully from the Mayflower short term car park…however, we have now received a parking fine! All contact attempts and messages to the company have been ignored. This scam outfit seriously should be avoided at all costs and be closed down by the Southampton Port authority! 😡

Booked with this bunch but cancelled 3 weeks prior to cruise. Was aware of a £15 admin fee but despite numerous excuses and promises from these sharks my refund of around £180 has not been received. AVOID.

Absolute scam ! I paid £120 to park for a week while in a cruise 2-9Sept. WhenI got home I received a fine for unpaid parking. I tried to appeal but no success . Southampton Valet Ltd only have a mobile number and don’t respond. I’ve reported to Trading Standards.

Just received a parking ticket for £100 from Parkingeye for my car at the short stay at Mayflower Terminal whilst my car should have been with this company !!!!
Hasten to say we are not paying this and appealing the charge
I have tried to ring/ email this company no replies …
Who thinks this is acceptable practice? Treating hard working people whom have paid a lot to leave their car with this “cow boy firm!!!”

After terrible communication around the shuttle to and from the cruise we got home to find a parking fine stating that our parking had not been paid for. The fine company said the car park had never done business with this company and were reporting to the police. I have reported to Action Fraud. I tried to call and get my money back but no success. AVOID like the plague!

Left car with Southampton valet ltd on 23rd September for 3 days, I have received parking fine £100, they do not answer their phones have tried on 36 occasions so far!

I can only reiterate what others have written here, which really is; use them at your peril. While I did not experience any issues in dropping off and collecting my car, I came in for a nasty shock a week later to receive a £100 parking fine for leaving my car in their care from Parkingeye, the company who I assume must manage their parking lot.
Naturally I attempted to contact Southamptonportparkingservices about this but faced a wall of silence. They do not answer their customer services phone line which goes to automated answering machine, nor do they respond to you on their live chat if you have a problem (I'm looking at you Alex). Would I recommend them to anyone, what do you think?

Like other people who have written a review, we waited 5 hours for our car to be returned after our cruise of P&O Iona 16th Sept - 23rd Sept. The police and port authorities were also involved. Apparently the cars had been parked at various car parks including Tesco and Sainsbury's around the area .. so much for secure parking. Disgraceful company and shouldn't be allowed to trade. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Firstly the company failed to collect me from Southampton port resulting in a £20 Taxi ride at my expense. When I returned to my car the minibus that had dropped me off was parked up with no obvious intention of collecting me. Secondly was the £40 fine I received from the legitimate owners of the car park that this company had parked my car at resulting in a lengthy legal dispute

Do not use Southampton Valet Ltd. booked via Southampton Port Parking Services you will end up spending your time fighting parking fines.

We had two cars booked (at a cost of over £200) for one week in September. On the day of arrival, we parked in the car park which we had been advised of both on our booking confirmation and had also received a phone call and a text on the day telling us to park our cars there. We were subsequently collected from and taken back to this car park at the start and end of our holiday.

Since returning home, we have received notice of a parking fine. It appears that this is a private car park (we were not parked at the port) which this company do not have permission to use for their 'park and ride service'.

For £216 we were transported to and from the cruise terminal in dirty, smelly minibuses, and our parking has not been paid for. I believe that this company knows they are advising their unsuspecting customers to park improperly in a private car park.

We were told to contact Global Parking Management; however this is totally useless as they continue to send us a response regarding fines received by customers who were parked at the port, from a parking management company that is not the one who has issued my fine. Despite explaining what has happened in our situation, we continue to receive the same copy and paste response.

I am now having to spend my time contacting various organisations regarding this matter in an attempt to sort out the problem I am now left with. This service is a total scam.

I should also note that the company are simply hanging up when you advise you are calling regarding a fine.
