Online system doesn't work, says the website cannot be found when you go to pay online after putting in your PCN details. The automated phone system makes you listen to all the options for things like paying council tax or rent arrears before finally getting to the option to pay a PCN, bearing in mind that this number is listed for parking fines not all bills that Southampton City Centre collects. Shambolic at best.

Do not book with these, we received no confirmation after payment was made, called and emailed a number of times and had no response, after reading all the negative reviews, we decided to book with someone else.

They don’t tell you until you’ve paid that they will only transport one driver to and from the port and that your suitcases won’t be transported either waste of time and money I would never use them again absolutely crap service

Booked our car into Southampton Port parking - park & ride in August 2024. BIG MISTAKE. Although they advertise a drop off & pick up service we received neither, first we had to take our luggage to the port ourselves then on our return we had to pay for a taxi to get back to our car. We have contacted site several times with no response - NEVER BOOK WITH THIS PLACE. We will definitely not be using them again

I received a Parkingeye parking penalty notice May 2023 even though Southampton Portside Meet and Greet parked car in short stay car park when I was onboard a ship. Not intimidated by Parkingeye bullying tactics. Thought I cave in. Ended up in civil court. Parkingeye didn't even turn up. Case dismissed I was awarded costs.

Southampton Valet Ltd September 2024 , no one to collect the car , no responce by phone only answer machine , no responce on contacting by email. Advised by other parking companies on site , comapny no longer allowed to trade in Southampton docks . REALLY strange as 2023 ... could not fault their service .. Really good

Booked with a company called Southampton Port meet and greet....they are scammers.... unfortunately I had to cancel my cruise for medical reasons and when I tried to cancel the parking was unable to contact them... another company informed me of the reasons why.... apparently they take your car and leave it anywhere.... I booked this company through a comparison website ☹️

Used them today and had to wait nearly an hour to be collected. Whenever I phoned the mobile number they would not answer or lie saying the minibus was on its way. Clearly they do not have enough staff or vehicles when more than one cruise ship in in port at the same time. Will never use again as clearly a shady company

We used this company valet parking and when arrived at Southampton we were told they no longer excist and the owner is now in jail so we had to pay out again to park our car with someone else which was fine but these people have our money and we want it back apparently there are a number of people in our situation they shouldn't be allowed to trade these con men

Whilst very happy with the easy drop off and collection process, we were very disappointed to learn that a cracked windscreen (and it seems virtually any damage incurred during Portside’s ‘care’) was not covered at all! Beware of the small print and read T&Cs carefully. WE WILL NOT BE USING AGAIN!

I booked my car in with Southampton port parking services in September 2023 for a cruise I was taking in April 2024. I received lots of email confirmation and instructions BUT when I got to the port there was no one there to take my car and I was told that they have been removed from the Port. As more than 120 days had elapsed since I paid I have no re call to get my money back. No response to email or telephone THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM DO NOT USE!

Booked online before reading reviews, contacted them within 10 mins asking to cancel booking. Even called them for my phone to flash up suspected spam!!, fast forward nearly 4 weeks and still no refund! Avoid this company

Trying hard to contact this company - without success. I only wanted to change my registration number with them. Number they have given me on paperwork is just going to answerphone all the time. Paid £116.94 total rip off and scam - beware!!!! Thankfully we tried to contact people before we went - I hate to think what it would have been if we had waited until the day - we are both pensioners and I am in wheelchair! disgraceful

Scam! On way to car park called them to be told there was an “accident” at their car park so alternative arrangements had been made at a different car park. They met us with a van to take us to the port and took the ticket saying it would be validated and to call for collection. After our holiday we call and call for pick up and no answer to numerous calls, no answer machine so had to get a taxi back to car park. No way to get out as they had the ticket. Luckily we happened to spot one of their workers outside who apologised and said he would pay for us to get out. He called the operator of the car park from the parking machine and said he’d lost his ticket and gave our number plate. The charge was £30 less than what we had paid the company! After 3 hours got a lame text from the “contact” number saying “sorry can’t answer phone at the mo”

ONE STAR TO MANY !! Just been hit with parking fine for collection of my hire car on 25th August, car entered car park at 0655, getting delivered back for our collection at 0735, I'm now trying to fight this as Eurocars paid the fine on my behalf, having a lot of hassle trying to contact meet and greet, appealing this fine as well.

We used this company in June of this year .A last minute change by them by text message .Had to go to short stay car park ,met by three people who had a van and flagpole advertising them. We were very suspicious told the barrier had broken at the designated car park .They would ensure our vehicle would be parked by them and we would pick up our vehicle from the same spot . Our boarding time for our cruise was getting closer we accepted there explanation and gave over the keys .On our return a man had a bag with keys in , we took ours and returned home.A couple of weeks later we received a £ 100 parking fine from Parking Eye,for the day we dropped off our car ,a week later we received another for our return .
It then became quite obvious it had been a scam .We disputed the fine and appealed. Sending all correspondence from the parking company to Parking Eye who said they could do nothing but gave us an appeal form for an independent appeal process. Our fine was then dropped , however even though we sent both fines together ,Parking Eye have said the second fine was still standing , we are still fighting this one . What we don’t understand is that this scam has been happening for a long time and was still happening a month ago ,same company . Parking Eye have been aware of this unless people have just paid fines , so if they are aware why have they not done something about it ,Presumably the cameras cover the car park.we informed Southampton council ,and lodged a complaint with the police .we decided to Appeal as not happy with our money going to scammers . It’s a Shame a lot of us scammed couldn’t have got together and lodged a mass complaint to Parking Eye .

Update to my previous review. DO NOT USE THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY. After two months of emails and calls - all ignored.
£3000 of damage. Dash cam wiped to remove any evidence. Police now aware. Needs others to come forward.
Small claims court case now proceeding

We arranged parking through a company called Southampton Valet Limited who are a booking agent for Southampton port parking services on arrival the car park postcode was a housing building site, we then tried to call the number given 07503 622742 - no one was answering and the mailbox was full. We had no way of contacting anyone to see where we should park. We therefore had to make alternative last minute arrangements for parking - we contacted the company via email the same day explaining our plight and that we had to make alternative arrangement and therefore wanted a full refund - that was some 2 weeks ago and we have still not heard from them.
STAY CLEAR OF SOUTHAMPTON VALET LIMITED

Southampton port parking. Disgraceful. Car badly damaged whilst parked. Video taken when damaged pointed out yet despite countless calls and emails, all ignored. Even incurred a parking fine where they parked it waiting for our return. Dash can camera wiped which speaks volumes. Avoid this company at all costs!

AVOID THIS COMPANY!! Left my car with them for a week while me and my partner were away in a cruise. 6 weeks later I get a letter from the bailiffs wanting £150 on behalf of First Parking for unpaid parking charges. The images clearly show it wasn’t me driving the car into and out of the car park it was one of the employees at Southampton Valet! I never received the offence within 14 days it occurred so I wasn’t able to appeal the parking charge. Tried to contact Southampton Valet but they never agreed they were at fault and ignored my other emails. How can these scammers get away with it!!
