AVOID THIS COMPANY!! Left my car with them for a week while me and my partner were away in a cruise. 6 weeks later I get a letter from the bailiffs wanting £150 on behalf of First Parking for unpaid parking charges. The images clearly show it wasn’t me driving the car into and out of the car park it was one of the employees at Southampton Valet! I never received the offence within 14 days it occurred so I wasn’t able to appeal the parking charge. Tried to contact Southampton Valet but they never agreed they were at fault and ignored my other emails. How can these scammers get away with it!!

Couldn’t pay when booked parking as their card machine wasn’t working was told to pay when I got there, met the gold tooth rogue and like an idiot handed over via bank transfer £135 parked 21-29 October. Received probably the first of many fines yesterday for parking eye at short stay car park mayflower terminal, have paid it and accepted I have been scammed ☹️

Paid this company £170 to look after our car for the duration of our cruise 30th September to 15th October 2023 we were on a Mediterranean cruise aboard MSC Virtuosa everything went fine until the 20th October 2023 when we received a £100 parking fine for the time they brought the car back at 6.45am to 7.20am when we drove the car out of the car park to go home. I have appealed the fine and sent proof of payment to whom ever issued the fine, I am now awaiting the results of the appeal. 8 have seen others have asked for a charge back from their banks think I'll try this myself.
Don't use this company its not worth the hassle, how Southampton Port allow thus to happen beggers belief.🤬🤬🤬

No stars preferably. Received a car parking fine from Parking Eye after paying Meet & Greet Southampton Port who were meant to be looking after our car. No receipt when we paid & no card machine. No longer able to see their website on the internet but we've been told they keep changing the company name, a clear red flag, do not use this service, EVER. Wish we have known beforehand, as we would have avoided them. Very disappointed that Southampton Docks are allowing this to happen on their premises.

Crafty! Last minute change of parking instructions of our vehicle night before - changed from dropping off to ncp car park to being upgraded to drop at the port carpark. Car damaged upon return - valance around driver seat snapped and hanging off! Car park rep took pictures of damage and gave us an email and telephone number to contact. We actually had an apologetic response and said they would look into it. Parked 24.6.23 - 1.7.23 Today found Trust Pilot reviews I think we are lucky to have had our car back!! Rang NCP today - they said not their record number when I gave my reference number. NCP advised it is a scam company. They have advised the CD council main branch of police. DO NOT BOOK with Southampton Port Parking Services.

I already paid for park and ride. Then I got ticket for parking charges.0 star really really rubbish service.

If I could give minus stars I would. I paid for parking. Followed the instructions and phoned 30 minutes before I got to the car park. No reply and mailbox full. I was left with nowhere to park and in danger of missing the ship. I, luckily, paid by credit card and got my money back. I also found another provider. No one should use this company they are scammers.

Absolutely no stars as far as I’m concerned received PCN from Southampton Short stay car park furious all calls and emails ignored impossible to contact.Do not use this service I have payed the fine but I am not letting this go.They parked my car at 08.22 my pick up was arranged for 12noon absolute cowboys

What are these people up to !! Just like Penny’s review below, we were on the same cruise I suspect. I have received 2 parking fines. One at the short stay on pickup and another on the 19th Sept from Sainsbury car park in Southampton when we were at sea ( La Rochelle ) to be precise.
These people should be avoided at all costs and are giving the industry a bad reputation which the port authorities should get a grip of.

I really wish I had looked on Trustpilot before booking parking at Southampton cruise terminal. As others have experienced, there were no photographs or checks on my vehicle before departing and no paperwork issued. Upon return I had to phone for my car to be returned and although it was delivered about an hour later the sat nav had been meddled with and the sound system. At the time I was just relieved to get it back in one piece with no apparent damage. A month later however I received a fine from Euro Car Parks saying that I hadn't paid the initial fine for over staying at Sainsbury's Lord Hill, so now had to pay £70! I appealed the fine and sent documentation to prove I was in Norway at the time and the fine was cancelled. I cannot believe this rogue company is still allowed to trade nor that the port authorities continue to allow this. See a green and yellow flag in the car park of the cruise terminal and keep on driving.

Asked for refund and was sent a email confirming that it will be processed in few days. Now over a month and still chasing with no response. Time to send in the big boys. As the company is totally fraud.

Southampton Port Meet & Greet - so far I've had two PCNs - the short stay car park where we drop off and collect our cars and another from the operators of Sainsbury's, Lord's Hill, Southampton, car park where it appears my car was driven to on 19th September (I was in La Rochelle, France, on a cruise) and left there for over 4 hours. I most certainly would not have given permission for my car to be driven (other than to and from a compound) and I'm furious about the parking fines. It's really difficult to appeal these fines - takes a lot of time and even then you don't know what's happening or if the bailiffs are going to be knocking on the door.

Avoid Southampton Valet Ltd , we have received 2 parking charges , o e dated 3 days after the car was originally dropped off , so they have used our car, W***kers

This *company* is an absolute horror show. How the police are letting them operate at the port is a joke. Over 40 miles put on the car, all of our stuff pulled out and in the footwells. Roof box keys stolen/left unlocked thankfully so it's usable but not lockable.

We were lucky to receive the car back without any apparent damage but hoardes of people on our same return date came back to find cars had been stolen, completely smashed up, windows broken and replaced inexplicably without any mention.

No car walk around, no key receipt, no procedure for driving into a short stay with ANPR, we should of noticed the flags, but they take advantage of you being in the holiday spirit and ensure you return to utter misery.

Its apparent we will now be awaiting a host of parking fines,

If you see the SMG green and yellow banner ever in the short stay car park do everyone a favour and tear it down.

This is an update on my previous review for Southampton Meet and Greet.
I went through The Retail Charge back system through my bank and got a refund. This was due to services not provided . I got back the full amount that I paid to Southampton Meet and Greet.
I then got a parking fine from the short stay car park at Mayflower cruise terminal for £100 when we were loading our car .
I appealed and got this cancelled.
Today I have received another parking fine from Euro car parks at Sainsbury's for £70 as the car had been parked there on the 19th September while we were on our cruise.
I am currently appealing this now.
I am also contacting Trading Standards which is done through the CAB.
The next step is Rip off Britain !
This whole parking situation has been stressful and time consuming.
I can't believe this company is still trading !!!

We booked online and all looked fine, upon arival at the port of Southampton there was a couple of unprofessional men there with a scruffy bit of hand written paper with bank details on, having everyone send bank transfers over. they were filling in a few basic details on a peice of paper then taking your keys in a ziplock plastic bag. no walk around of the car was Done. Looking back, all the Red flags were there, but as there were a few other people all doing the same, you just go along with it. *Dont follow the herd mentality*.
Getting back to the carpark after the Cruise We were met with about 20 people all standing around waiting for their cars. One representative was there. everytime I asked where my car was and the location of where it was stored he said, he didnt know.
A Securty guard at the port carpark said to me, dont mess around, phone the police, that its not unsual for people to wait for upto 6 hours for their car, and they dont pay the parking eye at the port carpark either, so to stick an hour on yourself.
anyway, my car came back on time, but to be honest, all the drivers looked like illegal immigrants with out a driving licence or insurance Doc between them.
I later checked my dashcam footage ****They had taken it to a multi story carpark on the day I left, then the following day they moved it and dumped my car on B&Q CARPARK for four days, which was about 4 miles from the port. ******* So I am now expecting a fine to come through the post. I didnt expect to pay £100 for my car to be left on a Retail carpark.

Car was returned significantly damaged. Calls and emails go unanswered unless you withhold your number and then passed on from pillar to post and promises made and never kept.
Absolutely appalling they can get away with this and still trading - so more unsuspecting customers will be writing similar feedback

Cannot believe the reviews I'm reading, yes it does seem they are using different names/websites.
I do have a complaint after collecting my vehicle, 22/10/23 opening the car door, looked like Id been broken into, with food stuff all over the drivers side floor, and drivers door panel storage rampaged, 12 miles had been put on, and the heating raised up to 29 degrees. Did ring the Company Meet & Greet who requested i send in an email with pictures, which Ive done, sent a further email, requesting a reply, they not now answering my calls, even rang their supposed to be Customer Service, stating he'd have to pass onto the admin team who would ring me in 20Mins, Still no response, very poor customer service, along side doggy company.
