Told us they were looking at arranging a shuttle to the Sting Thetford concert, and will keep in touch. I sent chasers for months only to be told on the last chaser that there isn’t a shuttle and that we should have opted for the parking. Due to this we missed out on getting any parking booked or taxi service since they were all fully booked. It was a stressful experience in the end and I will never use them again.

The ABBA show with Ocean lounge tickets was spot on. The hotel was close enough to train station and smart enough inside.
The real rub was the promise of arrival cocktail, was told none had been made and would need to wait, but have a free soft drink while waiting. Over an hour later still no cocktail, not even the offer of ones on the bar list in way of ensuring expectation met.

We paid a premium price for a package to see Bruce Springsteen in Cardiff . It was our choice to do that but The Clayton hotel was supposed to be 4 star . I made a complaint about the hotel room , restaurant and bar . Very slow and poor response so far and it’s 10 days ago now.

Hotel and Abba voyage very good

All I did was log onto a website and Sound travel did the rest. Ok, Cardiff is the best place in the world for a concert but everything was wonderful. Great seats, great show, and they booked me into the same Park Inn hotel I used in 2008. It was great then and it is great now. Good clear and timely email communication, too. Not a single paper document was ever produced so even the trees will be happy.

Springsteen Cardiff: Organised superbly by Sound Travel from start to finish. Kept informed throughout and when we arrived at Park Plaza, staff were ready with envelope with our names on it. Never heard of the company beforehand but would use/recommend for future gigs. Tidy.

We were more than happy with the concert, obviously, and the ticketing process, information, and entry to the stadium were all fine, BUT the Clayron Hotel seriously compromised our overall enjoyment. How, and by whom, has this Hotel been rated 4-star? There were only 2 lifts for the whole 9-floor hotel. Our supposedly 'superior' double had no fridge (though the casing was there) and only liquid soap in the bathroom which could not be removed from the fitments. The window gave on to an interior light-well. Our booking document promised us a complimentary drink voucher per person, but when I asked for these, I was told the hotel knew nothing about this. I persevered, and was given 2, but when we returned from the gig it appeared that the hotel was not expecting its guests to want a drink, as the quite smal bar was completely overwhelmed, with only one barman on, and no free seats. We were not allowed into the adjoining room, which had been set for breakfast. The duty manager had to help eventually, and tried to refuse our vouchers, but gave in with very bad grace when I showed him the printout of our booking. He demanded to know who had given us the vouchers, wanting a physical description so he could 'speak to' the person. He insisted your company had not arranged for complimentary drinks with the hotel. Is this right? Breakfast was good, which restored our good mood somewhat, and I have to commend the helpfulness of the rest of the staff.

Great smooth process of booking and regular updates on the booking giving a piece of mind

We did the package deal and everything went smoothly. Hotel was ideally located to the venue and the hotel was what we expected in respects of comfort and staff. Breakfast was good with a good selection to choose from and if special dietary requirements needed one just had to ask. Staff helpful and friendly.
Cardiff very busy and I would be better prepared next time in respect of food and timing. I was very pleased that the venue had a roof to cover the venue.
Id use the venue again to see a show.Bruce as usual was brilliant along with his E- Street Band

Everything was great, concert and seats amazing. The hotel room was large, clean and comfortable. However, the bar and restaurant were very poor. Ordered food however, when it came it was not as ordered and the explanation was, didn’t have what was ordered so decided to substitute everything, which was very poor as what was served was so substandard. The food was unpleasant and the bar had run out of most drinks we asked for. This spoiled what was a great experience.

Concert excellent. Soundtravel / Ticketmaster booking and subsequent info & contact excellent. Cardiff City centre and stadium v good. Everything in walking distance. Radisson Blu was decent / OK, staff helpful, good breakfast but room smelt of smoke and couldn’t open windows. Would use Soundtravel again.

Booked the Springsteen package in Cardiff. We stayed at the Park Inn Cardiff City Centre. The room was basic but clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The city was absolutely heaving and we couldn’t get in to eat anywhere so had a burger in the hotel. It was perfectly ok. A full English breakfast was included and it was also perfectly fine. The hotel was within walking distance of the station, the castle and the stadium and next to an enormous shopping centre.
I found Ticketmaster’s texts with advice and updates very helpful.

Fantastic show, hotel lovely, staff really nice st hotel cardiff lovely place, cleans, load of places toveat, restaurant also at hotel, and do 24 hr room. Could throughly recommend

The Bruce Springsteen Concert was absolutely superb! ..However the hotel Holiday Inn Express I have no words...I did feel sorry for the only one trained staff who had to be pulled away from the chaos to cook for the general manager (Shocking) The hotel was dissorganised, seating area filthy, glasses if you got the correct one for your drink was dirty....The bathroom? Surprised there was not mushrooms growing around the shower...The list is endless, thankfully I spent as little time as possible in the hotel which was a shame for the considerable amount I paid for the package.

Liked: great seats for a great concert.
Not liked: accommodation was very basic for a premium price. Would have preferred a Premier Inn.

A great experience from first booking to the date of the concert, the support was excellent. The hotel was perfect and great location, very handy for the venue. I would definitely use this company again.

Not rating the concert. Rating for the Hilton Hotel at Cardiff. Room was very poor for the price paid that was included in the ticket package. Room was very dark, very small inward facing window. Lots of moths in the room - think when we opened the wardrobe. No safe for wallets etc. we only stayed one night so when it came to shower next morning - the installed containers for shampoo,
Conditioner were empty. 4 star rating is overstating it. Breakfast was poor and overall the decor of the hotel was tired. Better staying at premier inn.

Booked through this company to see Bruce Springsteen in Cardiff. Stayed at The Clayton Hotel. Very good and easy. Would definitely recommend and use again.
