24 weeks…so far…waiting for delivery

Ordered 2 items with expected delivery of around 4 weeks on the 7th February…it has now been 24 weeks and still no sign of delivery. I have emailed/called to no response however they have responded on Instagram saying there is a delay and they will get back to me but still I have heard nothing.
The item is still for sale on their website with suggested delivery of up to 4 weeks which is so unfair to anybody else who orders it if it’s going to take over half a year to arrive!

I can see from your order that you placed an order for 2 x Lorena Canals baskets which were delayed at the manufacture point until June. I can see this was communicated with you via instagram. We have had no emails or voice messages from you on our customer services systems. We have had a delivery date from Kuehne + Nagel for Tuesday 30th July, so these will be with you next week. Apologies again for the delay!

Took my money 10 weeks ago and still no delivery...

Placed an order for a very expensive changing table 10 weeks ago and it has not arrived after the company promised that it would be arriving countless times and dragged me along. My baby is now due and I have no changing table. I am starting to wonder if this is a fake company who has now taken my money and won't provide my order. Really disappointed and should have ordered the item directly from the company who makes it instead of using this company which seems like a scam! The worst service and I do not recommend getting anything from them!! I have had to follow up every week instead of them keeping me updated - this is no way to run a business!

Hi Mishka, as explained to your husband there was some confusion with your delivery. The delivery was requested on Tuesday 25th June, but unfortunately the courier was unable to deliver on that date. We were told that there would be no one available to accept delivery for several weeks which we now know is not the case, so we have rebooked the courier. As explained to Muhammad, the courier will be in contact to organise your delivery tomorrow or Wednesday. Thanks for your patience and apologies again for the confusion.

I placed an order on 28 April 2024 and…

I placed an order on 28 April 2024 and am yet to receive the order. I have followed up on over 20 occasions and the team have been extremely unhelpful. Stay away from this store at all costs - would not recommend this to anyone

Placed an order for a roll of wallpaper…

Placed an order for a roll of wallpaper on the 24th March, wasn’t contacted until the 3rd of April to say the paper now wouldn’t be printed until the 26th April but would be delivered at the very latest on the 29th. This wallpaper is for my baby’s room, who is due this week & still yet to arrive, no further communication or dispatch email. Have tried contacting via email & Instagram with no reply so no idea if it’s going to actually arrive at all never mind before the baby arrives. Wouldn’t recommend this company at all, customer service is none existent after they have your money.

Purchased a scooter for child’s…

Purchased a scooter for child’s birthday nearly two weeks ago. Have had no confirmation of delivery (order says 3-4 days) even though money has been taken. I’ve also sent two emails with only an automated response stating someone would contact within 48 hours - this hasn’t happened!!! I have also tried to call the contact number, which said number was unavailable. Have now had to source alternative present and requested a refund. Very poor service and concerned to see similar reviews.

The Banwood scooters clearly state 7-10 working days for delivery on the product page and at checkout, so this is due to arrive next week.

Poor customer service

I am really disappointed with the customer care from Soren's House. It is the first time I have ordered from them and in an attempt to support a more independent company, ordered a set of weighing scales. The scales are faulty and I have made repeated attempts to contact the customer services to find out about a refund or replacement. I have had limited responses and the issue is still not resolved after several weeks. It is a shame as I don't normally write reviews but I am very disappointed in the lack of communication from the team, especially when the fault is not mine.

Unresolved Concerns and Silence: A Parent's Plea to Soren's House

As a long-standing admirer of Soren's House and their curated collection of child-friendly products, it pains me to write this review under such disappointing circumstances. This is not just a tale of a flawed product but of unmet expectations from a company I held in high regard, especially during these financially challenging times when every purchase is weighed heavily against its value and necessity.

On the 26th of December, I placed an order (#39836) for a set of Liewood Filiz Snack Bowls (4 Pk - Cat Tuscany Rose Multi Mix), enticed by their charming design and the promise of durability, including being dishwasher safe. This feature was particularly important to me, as the product was intended for my baby's food, marking the beginning of our weaning journey—a milestone in any parent's life filled with joy, anticipation, and a deep sense of responsibility towards the well-being of their child.

The reality, however, was far from what was promised. After the very first wash, following the care instructions to the letter, I was dismayed to find the plastic coating peeling away—a concerning sight, especially for an item meant to hold baby food. Concerned for my child's safety and in full trust of Soren's House's customer service, I reached out, detailing the issue and seeking a resolution in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Claire from customer support responded promptly, asking for photographs to forward to Liewood, which I provided immediately. Since then, my hope for a swift resolution has been met with silence. Despite my follow-up and expressed concerns for my baby's safety—highlighting the urgency given the product's intended use for weaning—there has been no update, no advice, and, most dishearteningly, no solution offered.

In these financially strained times, when every purchase is a significant investment in our children's safety and well-being, such oversight and lack of responsiveness strike a chord deeper than mere dissatisfaction—it sows distrust. The silence from Soren's House not only exacerbates our anxiety over the safety of the bowls but also calls into question the value they place on customer concerns, especially those as critical as product safety for babies.

This ordeal has left us in a precarious position, urgently needing safe alternatives for our child's weaning process, yet hesitant to proceed without assurance from a brand we once trusted implicitly. My plea for Soren's House is not just for a resolution to our current predicament but for a reevaluation of their commitment to customer care and product safety—a plea from a parent who expected more.

Hello, Oliver. I can see that customer services received an email on Thursday. We have been closed for the 4 day bank holiday weekend, but they will be replying today.

First of all, I would like to reassure you that every product that we sell at Soren's House is selected with children's safety as paramount priority. After my son was diagnosed with cancer in 2017, I became concerned about toxins and chemicals in every day products and make sure everything that we sell in store is something I would be happy to use with my own children.

Liewood produce BPA free and toxin free tableware, the items that you are concerned about are produced from corn starch with no toxins or chemicals that may be harmful. We are awaiting a response regarding the item, as we have never had this issue reported to us before. As soon as we hear back, we will be in touch with their comments.

We don't have any more of this item to send as a replacement, so this item has been refunded in full for you. Please accept our apologies for the faulty item.

Terrible customer service

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from this company. Beautiful website, very very helpful when I had an issue with payment. Extremely helpful. I made my order. The items were due to come within days. This was helpful as we had just moved house etc… I then called and left a message, no response, emailed, then I had a response after two days and each email took a few days for them to respond. I’m still waiting for part of my order with no response from them of when my order will arrive. A beautiful Scandi inspired website and beautiful things but shocking service. Such a disappointment. All the reviews are just excuses. I will never order from them again.

Well priced items in the sale

Well priced items in the sale. There was a slight issue with my order upon delivery, but it was sorted by Soren's House customer service within 24 hours of me emailing them. Will definitely be using this site again.
