First off, the quality of these bikinis is top notch. I've never had a bikini of such elegant fabric and style... I absolutely love my purchase. I felt super sexy and sophisticated on my recent vacation.

The questionable: I'll address the return policy, which is an issue in many reviews. We are all used to being able to return things we order online that don't work for us/don't fit/aren't a good cut/etc. I, too, misinterpreted the fine print on Sommer's site and didn't realize bathing suits were "intimate items" and were exchange only. That's what I think could be made more clear if Sommer wants to get better reviews all around...plus up its integrity as a business.

Most women just see the "21 days returns" at the top of the screen and assume that means swimwear, since that's 95% of what Sommer sells. But, in reality, the "21 days returns" only applies to 14 items under the "resort wear" tab (which are very expensive items compared to the rest of the site.)

Because of the excellent customer service, I'm giving the company the benefit of the doubt in my assumption that they aren't intentionally being vague/confusing with the policy. But my heartfelt business advice as a business owner & consultant myself, is to change that banner to "21 days returns on resort wear" or "21 days easy exchanges" or just cut the banner completely. Also, instead of saying "intimate items" under your returns policy, say "swimwear". That makes everything clear as day 🙏🏽

I now have a store credit for over $400 because I didn't understand that "intimate items" meant bathing suits (even tops), and I thought I'd be able to return the ones that didn't fit/I didn't like (but all you can do is exchange.) I don't blame Sommer because, like I said, technically, they have their guidelines printed on their site. They are just not super clear and will continue to be easily misinterpreted by online shoppers.

Anyway: killer suit. Awesome customer service.

I ordered a wrong size and the support team was really kind and helpful. Shipping was really fast too, and since I had already paid it for the first time, they offered me a refund for the second purchase (right size).
The bikini fits perfect and quality is great.

I’ve been purchasing Sommer for a long time and I love the… the best materials and prints! In my last purchase I wrote wrong the delivery adress, but Sara was so kind and solve it really quickly. You have to only write to costumer service and they’ll help you with everything.

I'm obsessed with Sommor Swim's Bruna one-piece!! I recently purchased the leopard print design and it's just divine. The fabric is high-quality, super comfortable and provides the perfect balance of style and support. The sleek design flatters my figure, and it holds up beautifully after multiple swims. Whether at the beach or poolside, this piece makes me feel confident and chic. Highly recommend!

Falsely claims "easy returns" when they refuse to take returns at all for a number of items not listed anywhere on the website, and then when you fight them on it, they make you pay for return shipping and don't list anywhere online where to return shipping too. Impossible to complete and a terrible/dishonest buying experience.

Unfortunately the swimsuit I got is not suitable for swimming. The cups just slide away during any movements in water. It could have been prevented if the bra was simply made with padded cups. I literally didn't expect it and was swimming with my breast out in front of people and several local families with kids while on vacation in Dubai. Really hoped no one will report me and I won't end up in jail.

Very sad that I spent 250 euros on a swimsuit I can't use and it made the return process impossible because I only found out about this minus when I used it.

My advice don't buy any non-padded balconette or bralette bras from this brand.

The only brand I buy bikinis from! Being quite petite, it's always been hard to find swimwear that fits :(
But these are perfect. I always get compliments from friends when I wear them!

I’ve reached out to customer service a few times since I've found them (about restock dates and exchanges), and they’ve always replied within 24 hours and been super helpful.

Shocking experience.
I purchased this swimsuit back in March (it’s June now), and not only did they charge me over £50 in taxes as I live in the UK, but the size was also not right. Not because I bought a different size than usual—I have never worn a size bigger than S in my whole life for a bikini—so it’s their sizing system that doesn’t work, as the S was honestly a kid’s size. They make you pay to ship back your item and do not offer a free exchange, but only a voucher that’s worth less than your swimsuit—and then you have to pay shipping again (in and out of the EU). Honestly, beware. There are so many better brands out there.

I am really dissapointed about this brand. Making a lot of money with marketing and poor customer ‘service’, congrats!

First of all.. the sizes are really small. I have cup 75A and the size S top was wayyy to small and tight. If your purchase doesnt fit, they offer storecredit by default. But (in Europe at least) customers have the right to return the purchase for money back, also in sale. There was also no return adress on the website at the time I bought the bikini.

After I pointed this out by e-mail, I got a returnadress to some place in Germany. No return label. Had to pay for it myself. But hey, I paid over a 150 euro’s for a bikini, so what’s another 15?
Only to find out its not a real adress and my package got stuck, because of the non existing return policy. Package doesn’t get send back to me eighter because of the costs of international delivery. Sommer Swim gives no explaination, just silence.
Sommerswimm: + 150 euro’s - customer: -165. And no bikini. Sketchy.

So, take a chance and hope the bikini fits perfectly, otherwise: say bye to your money.

Quick delivery and the bikinis are so cool - special fits and amazing colours that you don’t see everywhere! I think the fit is rather small, so I would size up a bit. Customer support was super helpful and replied quickly. I am ready for the beach now!

Exceptional service every time! Most recently I had a package go missing and they expedited a replacement right away with express shipping!

I have over 10 sets from Sommer Swim. I find they run true to size. I’m usually an L in clothes and the L from Sommer swim fits perfect! I do like my swimmies minimal coverage so it’s always a hit for me! 😆 Also the quality is top notch. They have easily become my most favorite and most bought swim brand.

Can’t wait to wear them on my trip!

a bikini I purchased earlier this year. Unfortunately, the size wasn’t right, so I contacted your team within the return/exchange period to request a size swap. I’ve followed up multiple times via email but have yet to receive any response.

I paid over $200 for this bikini, and I now have an item that I can’t wear. I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and support — especially given the price point and your usual brand reputation.

At this stage, I would really appreciate either a proper exchange for the correct size or a refund. I’ve made every effort to resolve this within your stated timeframe and just want a fair outcome.

Surely a scam - Say Large is a D but it's not at all but your portal only lets me return for store credit despite paying full price and the bikini in the new collection. This must be a scam. Legally you have the right to return and get a refund especially when your sizes are wrong. I even sent a pic showing my bra next to bikini top which shows it's like half the size

After placing my order on the 11th of April, my order a month later is still not received! €138 plus shipping is spent and no communication whatsoever! I need an update or a refund please! #EU38295 order number.

Dreadful - didn't get to receive the item even after paying £58 unexpected import duties on one bikini! Sommer swim recalled the item a month ago evidenced by DHL - and have still not received the refund! so disappointing

Absolutely love the style and quality of the swimsuits. They fit beautifully. Most importantly when I needed to exchange to get my right fit the customer service was great.

Very disappointed I tried the bikini over my clothes as you should. It ran too small for me. I returned the bikini after having to have my housemate print the return slip out for me because who has a printer these days. I then receive an email once they had received saying it had a weird smell and it looked like it had been worn. When really I had put it back in the packaging that was supplied and there was no smell. I feel like it’s a cheeky way just not return my money. Will never recommend this company.
