He was very understanding, compassionate and helpful in resolving my problem

We signed up and did not receive cards. I did not receive a booklet. I do not even know if this insurance is really legit or not. Communication is not good. I am very disappointed in this program. I have paid for two months, but received nothing.

If I could give them a zero I would . Still waiting for a payment for 2 years now every time I call they say it's still processing and to check back in 90 days for 2 years now . STAYAWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !!!!!

The onboarding process with Solidarity was simple and straightforward. Most of the information was online, and I was able to get most of my questions answered through the website. Scheduling was easy and the software is user friendly. I've only been a member for about a month, but so far my experience has been wonderful! I love that my healthshare costs are going toward a faith based organization, pricing is fair and there are various tiers to choose from.

David showed tremendous patience, understanding, and care in helping me sort out the mess caused by Solidarity's inability to process claims in a timely manner. The delay is so unbelievable. I was referred to Collection agencies and denied routine service due to "my" delinquency in paying bills. To this day in 2023, I still have outstanding claims dating back to 2021! Like I told David, "I like what Solidarity stands for, but their claims process has been a painful experience." David's calm and happy demeanor shed light at the end of the tunnel.

Only 1 star which does not even deserve a star but had to in order to provide a review.....
I submitted a Bill 3 different times from the hospital for an MRI.
This bill was for services on 6/21/21. To date I still have not received reimbursement. My husband and I were faithful contributors since 2019. The responses to follow up with why this bill was not paid were:
1. Sorry our system was overloaded
2. Sorry we don't see the follow up information would you re-submit
3. Sorry since it was 2021 when we had issues your bill is now in a separate category and we will look into it when we can but we don't know when that will be because we need to see to our other bills submitted later to make sure we are not behind with those.
Today's conversation was with Employee Bobby was somewhat flippant to the services provided. He actually quoted the paragraph written on the last page of every explanation of sharing form (which I was never aware of before today) which states....
...this program does not guarantee or promise that your medical bills will be paid or assigned to others for payment. Whether anyone chooses to pay your medical bills will be totally voluntary.....this program should never be considered as a substitute for an insurance policy.
....why would i contribute each month thinking there are covered medical expenses if "it should never be considered as a substitute for an insurance policy".
Thank the Lord that my husband and I can afford to pay our good doctors who take care of our medical needs. I wish I had all those months contributions that I made to help defer the costs that were never reimbursed!
-They did not pay for dr visits after our annual shared amount was met because they got our filed information mixed up when they changed our member number....
-They did not pay for bills submitted when they said it was submitted too late, when actually it was the 2nd time we submitted after we followed up and we wanted to know if our medical need was going to be reimbursed when we did not hear anything....we couldn't prove the 1st submission so they refused to pay.
RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU THINK YOU CAN BE REIMBURSED FOR MEDICAL EXPENSES....IT'S A SHAM, IT IS COVERED UP AS A WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING. BEWARE OF IT'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION.

David was super super patient and really went out of his way to help me resolve my concerns. He took his time to explain some issues to me and was just overall the best and most helpful. Very grateful for his support and patience, our call went quite long and I was becoming concerned he was getting annoyed but he never once seemed bothered, he stayed with me on the call for as long as he needed to help me resolve my issues.

David B was helpful in every aspect of what I considered to be a very complex problem. He calmed my nerves and resolved the billing issue in one phone call. He is very thorough and capable. You are blessed to have him.

He took his time to explain in detail what I was concerned about and accessed various communications to verify concerns.

Solidarity has been an excellent health share for my husband and I and our three children. Their customer service is excellent. We’ve been very happy customers of there!

David provided me with detailed information on the status of sharing needs in process and was engaged in the process of helping me out. What a great agent and reinforces why I'm so thankful and blessed to have Solidarity on my side.

After using Solidarity for about two years for a family member, that member changed to a job that included insurance. We left the plan, but made sure to do so once the next insurance was signed up for so that we wouldn't have a gap in coverage.

We cancelled Solidarity before the next charge was posted, but were charged for that next month anyway. We were told that we did not give enough notice, but the cancellation policy stated that members can cancel at any time (they prefer but can't require substantial notice). This is appropriate since it is a cost sharing service, not insurance -- it is voluntary, and you aren't contractually obligated to continue contributing, you legally can stop donating (because it's officially a donation, not a payment) any time you wish. As with any other nonprofit, they can't take money from you just because they have your credit card number and you "donated" last month.

I was already having some misgivings about Solidarity as this is a Catholic sharing service, and the policy became more and more narrow in what the admin believed that meant, setting up policies that were connected more in some ways with what secularists would consider bad behavior rather than anything from the Catechism. They have every right to do that, it's their organization, but it's never really been a "Catholic" thing to say you have to "live a healthy lifestyle" -- in fact, you could argue most Catholic saints did not. Catholic ethics would certainly mean the share plan wouldn't pay for contraceptives used for contraception, but noting you can't "abuse" food seems like an excuse to keep fat people out of the pool.

Most disappointing, though, is the seeming dishonesty in communications following our cancellation. Solidarity emailed me a copy of the very short cancellation policy, but left out the part about sharing being voluntary. A rep called me not to resolve the issue but to misrepresent that policy again and then, when it became clear i knew the actual language made the charge illegal, to attempt to guilt me into dropping my request for the charge to be refunded. They refused to remove the illegal charge (the card company adjudicated in our favor and removed it). It's not a Catholic value to hide the truth in disputes.

To be clear, we used Solidarity in order to be responsible and be able to pay bills if we needed to; even though we are a low income family, as Catholics it is important to us to try to do the right thing and we hoped Solidarity would be a good fit in helping us do tht. Our young and healthy family member never, thankfully, needed to use Solidarity in the two years we paid into the pool. We paid the company $4000 in total, and the billing tells us that of that about $1800 went to admin costs and about $2200 to pay the medical bills of other members. So the company itself got plenty from us for its overhead, and it's frustrating they felt the need to steal $90 from us after we'd cancelled our account and then dissemble and obfuscate when we requested they return it.

Hopefully this was just a blip and the organization has improved (date approx.)

Both David Brzczniak & Bobby were really great. Both had a remarkable patience and willingness, even eagerness to help and explain.

David made it easier to make a decision on withdrawing from Solidarity because of our obtaining Medicare and Medicaid. The question was whether the discount was sufficient to stay on Solidarity. David went out of his way to help despite feeling under the weather.

Bobby walked me through a very unfriendly withdrawal form that needs more specific line by line instruction.

I will strongly recommend Solidarity for any person who is not eligible for Medicare and Medicaid.

Even though we never had to use Solidarity since our enrollment in September 2019, it was a wonderful opportunity to help others who needed medical care. You have a great program going of Christians helping Christians instead of a often impersonal government or corporate medical insurance bureaucracy.
