Stung by an auto-renewal of the product Pixio Photo Studio Ultimate. The company refused to refund me after I informed them on the day of the charge that I no longer needed their product. Having used their products for years and also recommending them I have now had to inform my credit company for support.

My view of them has changed significantly, and I would advise you to turn off auto-renewal when signing up for their products, or better still, avoid them altogether!

Code did not work. No response from the company. Very shady. Had to go through PayPal for refund. Please save your time and go through the official Microsoft. This company needs to be investigated!

Ordered a licence and licence did not activate. Had no response from Software Gurus and have escalated with paypal. They have not responded to paypal either. DO NOT buy from them their licences do not work and they provide zero support.

I have had 2 windows 11 pro keys from software gurus so far, had an issue with the second one and they responded very quickly and resolved the issue, 10/10!

I ordered a license and the code doesn't work, I've emailed them 3-4 times regarding this matter, they say they respond within 1 hour but now it's been 4 days. Do not buy from them, they sell USED codes/not valid codes and then don't reply, I'm going to do a chargeback against them

Edit: Chargeback raised today, 29th Jan 25 since they don't actually reply to you.
Another edit: Hahaha they sent a "order failed due to failure payment" today 16th Feb 2025 because I done a chargeback! Nice! Maybe next time sell actual valid stuff

I've bought from this site several times before and really loved it. However, my recent purchase had a duplicated key which I'm trying to reach support for 3 weeks and still no reply. Such a shame.

I will be happy to change my review once the problem is solved and found this as a way to call their attention on the issue.

UPDATE: 25/03/2025

After months, I managed to get a reply as you can see below:

"Hello Cesar,

Sincere apologies for the delayed response. We have been having issues with our mailing system. Let me have a look into this and get back to you asap."

Following this, they provided a new key and the issue seems solved.

As mentioned before, I've always had a good experience with them so I'd give 5 stars for the product/service but taking 2 stars this time for the time it took to address the issue. Nevertheless, I'd still buy from them again as it was 1 bad experience out of 5.

Purchased a Windows 11 Pro licence. The licence showed as unusable initially. Support responded in approx 36 hours with instructions and a new licence and resolved the issue. Thanks for the help!

I had trouble downloading / installing purchased software but after contacting the company they had really helped and assisted in resolving the issue I had at no extra cost. Really helpfull and was much appreciated for not the most tech minded.

Usually grey market sites are sketch but gave me the key immediately after purchase and worked fine. finally got rid of that watermark and saved me £100

Bought a windows 11 key attempted to redeem the code and it says it’s invalid or incorrect ( something along them lines) I’ve got no response from support yet but hopefully if I get a response this situation can be sorted then I’ll happily update my review.

Edit: 10/10 support sorted all my issues.

What can I say,I experienced a problem upgrading my Win 10 OS,having purchased the upgrade from Softwaregurus, emailed them requesting help and after a very prompt and positive reply the problem was resolved. A great company to do business with 5 stars is not enough.
