The snug app would be the worst application app we’ve come across. Almost impossible to upload files without having to attempt multiple times. Requiring 100 points and having Drivers License, Medicare not equal 100 seems out of ordinary. Found it almost impossible to complete and intrusive with requirements. Asking for us to chase up previous landlords and property agents is also unnecessary and intrusive. Won’t be applying using this app

This was our first time using Snug and the experience was very positive. The platform was clear, user-friendly, and easy to navigate. We particularly valued the notifications, which kept us informed throughout the application process. After our application was successful, we also found the additional support offered, such as assistance with organising moving and cleaning services, extremely helpful. We would be more than happy to use Snug again in the future.

Firstly, i cannot create a service ticket with my gmail account. Secondly, i've been getting the same internal message for over a week and cannot apply for any properties.

internal error: failed to update application

Was completing an application with my flatmate who has his own password on his own computer using his own profile snug has decided to join our profiles eliminating some of my information and combining his into my account. There appears to be no way to untangle this situation. Real estate agents are unable to view either of our complete profiles and applications. The app is complete shit.

Applying for a rental through snug.com was honestly quite frustrating. The whole process felt longer and more complicated than it needed to be, with too many steps that didn’t always make sense. The data checks don’t seem very reliable either-I ran into a few issues where things weren’t validated properly, which just added to the confusion. On top of that, the site can be glitchy at times, and I had to redo parts of my application more than once.
Overall, it wasn’t a smooth experience and felt quite poorly put together.

The process was so easy to navigate through and everything done from the comfort of my home on my phone

Snug has been very supportive, very good communication and always doing their best. My partner and I have recently been approved for a place we now call home and it’s all thanks to Snug. I would definitely recommend going through Snug if you’re wanting a place to call home.

Terrible user experience on their website. Displays errors, and greys out application form sections without telling you why. Plain refuses to work unless you install Chrome, and even then you have to brute force clear cache reload every two minutes.

Entire process took two hours, where 2Apply (once setup) took 2 minutes. This sort of application should be streamlining the process, yet because of UX design choices, it was longer than if I had written the whole application from scratch, instead of it using my stored data.

I had a great experience with Snug. The platform is very easy to use and made the application process straightforward and efficient. Everything was well organised, and I appreciated how clear and transparent the steps were throughout.

Communication was prompt, and I always felt informed about the progress of my application. It really took the stress out of finding and applying for a rental.

Overall, a very reliable and user-friendly service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a simple and efficient rental application process.

Snug made applying feel effortless and quick. Other real estate application websites were a bit longer and some did not even save information! I will speak positively of Snug to anyone applying for a house or apartment just like I did

How dare you sell my data to power/gas/internet providers. Forced to apply through this crummy app and now being hounded with calls to my mobile.

Can see how much snug score we achieved.
Can use for any properties.

Snug has an easy platform. However would help to have some more clarity on next steps. Once user finishes a step there should be some info pop up to tell them next stage.

My daughter is searching for properties in VIC. I recently received a txt message from Snug with a link.
Digital security clearly stipulates not to click on links from unknown sources!!! So Snug why do you do this?
Then when I did click the link (In secure mode) to complete the lengthy reference; at not point is the agent or requesting party identified!! No names no contact details no agent!
The form is meant for people with previous rental experience. My daughter is a first time renter and many questions asked on this form do not apply to her situation but nobody at Snug thought of that!!
At the end of the form are the obligatory acceptance paragraphs but these are not readable because the text overlaps itself several times due to a faulty style sheet!!!! This form has clearly not been tested!!!!
How did we get to this point where a real estate agent chooses such a platform???
You couldn't get any more impersonal if you tried! I find Snug completely unacceptable and refuse to use this platform!!!
Just more sh*t to put up with in Australian real estate!
