what i like are quick filament changing during printing and compatibility with Bambu environment and quality is good.
what I don’t like are not smooth to change filament, app setting and network monitoring.

Issues from the start... I pre-ordered the Snapmaker U1. I have other bambu printers as well as creality printers. Always disliked how much waist I had from my others as they were not tool changers. The snapmaker u1 seemed like a great entry without breaking the bank on a Bambu H2C with the Vortek hot end swapping system or similar system. When I received my Snapmaker u1 and set it up I had issues before I was even able to print my first print. The 4th toolhead was acting like it had residual filament and the light on the filament feed box was just showing red. Submitted a ticket for this issue and although they responded it was the usual response of did I take my brand new printer appart and check everything. I do maintenance for a living and I'm use to working on things but didn't expect to straight out of the box. Took the 4th toolhead completely appart. Never saw any residual filament or anything. However I went threw the full motions like the support tech recommended. I took everything completely appart inside of this toolhead and meticulously cleaned everything. It did work after this once I reassembled it and I've managed to get some good prints off of it when it actually works. I was impressed by the speed of the swapping and it definitely helps eliminate the waist issue of multi color prints without having to print multiple bed plates and glue models together or suffer from mountains of 3d pooping. But I have been having issues with the U1 and it seems to always be from the 4th toolhead. The very same one I've had issues with from the start. My latest print it broke the filament going into the 4th toolhead right as it was going into the top and to no surprise the filament detection sensor that was throwing a false filament detection right from the start didn't even realize it didn't have filament. It just kept ghost printing thinking it had filament. This of course ruined the entire bed of flexi suga gliders I was printing. I attach the 4th toolhead and heat it up and of course was able to feed the needle threw the nozzle without issue. Looks like I'm right back to taking this toolhead appart yet again and only managed to get 10 total prints without issues arising. Once everything is taken appart yet again and cleaned we will see if it works again after that... smh

Best printer I have used to date. Watching the toolheads swap is truly mesmerizing. Support has been fantastic and the prints turn out great. Only couple gripes I have with the machine are the cheap feel of it with all the plastic panels and the camera is terrible, but other than that the machine works better than most of the machines I have ever owned.

best multicolor printer on the market

I was blown away when I received my first U1, so much so that I ordered a second. It arrived Monday and have it ready to print. Had great success with multi-color and multi-filament. I think it compares well to my Prusa XL - at 1/5th the price.

Perfect. The Printer is Wow. Software like Bambu or Anycubic Next still needs improvement. But all in one perfekt for me and multicolor prints. Thx

Good communication and fast fixes to issues on a newly released product.

Excellent 3D printer. Worked great right from the start. Love the filament savings. Very little purge waste. The four tool heads work great. So far I have had great prints with PLA and PETG. Looking forward to trying TPU. Overall the only issues I have had is from damp PETG filament. Not the printers falt. Very happy with the Snapmaker U1.

I am super pleased with the speed in which I received my printer after I ordered my first one. I decided that I wanted another one lol so I ordered a second one after the first week and I received both printers a day apart. I have put them into action since day one they have been printing nonstop. I have no complaints. Can’t wait for the app to get more features like print history, but those are trivial right now. I’m just enjoying the time. I’m saving on printing colored prints and the quality is spot on.

Very impressed with the packaging and setup out of the box, just putting it together was a pleasant experience and allowed me to see the quality of the machine. Fired it up and immediately started a 2 color print that completed flawlessly with next to no waste. Used to avoid prints like that on my previous printer but it feels so liberating to print whatever color combos I want without basically throwing away half a spool. Watching the toolheads swap back and forth is mesmerizing

As U1 owner I have found Snapmaker to be an honest, knowledgeable company to interact with. As the saying goes - they do what the say and say what they do. Very trustworthly.

Excellente imprimante 3D j'adore. Le tool changer aurait dû apparaitre bien plus tot de mon point de vue à la place des système AMS!!!!

Maintenant manque plus qu'à multiplier par 2 ou 3 le nombre de tête et on est bon avec un capot qui chauffe jusqu'à 65°C de manière régulé et un plateau chauffant qui monte à 120° et une buse qui monte jusqu'à 450°C, et là on sera pas mal.

Flawless everything ab

This printer is a marvel of design. It' prints beautifully, and tool swaps are very quick. Watching it print is like poetry in motion, well done Snapmaker. I only gave it 4 stars because of some teething issues. Took longer to calibrate than normal because of some errors which I fixed by re-aligning the belts according to troubleshooting. It has also gave several hot swap errors which I'm sure will be solvable once I get the current print done and I'm able to try some fixes. Otherwise, it's a great printer!

I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience. From start to finish, Snapmaker have been faultless. I pre-ordered in December with an estimated delivery of late April, so I was amazed when it actually arrived in early March – well ahead of schedule!

Everything about the process felt smooth and professional.

As for the Snapmaker U1 itself – it delivers on everything promised and then some. The build quality is excellent, setup was straightforward, and the print results have been consistently outstanding. It’s one of those rare purchases where it actually exceeds expectations.

I genuinely can’t stop printing with it – every project just makes me want to try something new. It’s been an absolute joy to use.

If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Highly recommended!

Got it earlier than expected and was easy to set up.
I came from an heavily modified Ender 3 I’ve used for 6 years. This thing is plug and play. No adjustments or finicky parts. Ran the calibration and It’s been running nonstop for 2 days and the only problem has been me not knowing the software. It’s simple to learn and straight forward. The prints are amazing and so much faster. Printed a full color litho in 2 hours that looks like a painted picture! Outstanding. Especially for the price.

Snapmaker kept me informed on the progress of my shipment. The printer was packed exceptionally well.

I just received my second Snapmaker U1. I love it. It set up great. I have been doing 16 hour print on it and it finished it. I had a minor docking issue that resolved itself. The only other issues I have had is the server connectivity try to send my prints to the second unit over wifi or monitor has been sluggish at times. I do like the new library even though it is very limited at this time. I am still waiting on different nozzle sizes I pre-ordered. I have debated on pre-ordering a top hat for it but November is a long ways out to wait for it. I would like to see an integrated AMS system available for it to be able to switch material for each nozzle.
