Spot on! Front door was jamming, Simon arrived promptly, discussed the problem, shaved the frame, adjusted night latch and replace old mortice lock. Great job, easy to deal with, and a very reasonable price. Thanks Simon!

Excellent!
Simon was easy to contact, provided helpful advice and fixed the issue quickly. Highly recommended.

Terrific service. Very professional. Quick response and excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

I initially contacted Simon to book him in for a few days later, thinking that a same day service would be incredibly expensive. But not, as it turns out: he was round within later that day to fix a door that had jammed, and it was sorted within an hour after he went to get the relevant parts. Thoroughly recommended.

Great communication so Simon knew exactly what he needed to do when he got to my house. Prompt, pleasant, well organised and highly recommended

Excellent job to realign the door to get the lock to work. Prompt response to my call for help. Definitely impressed.

Simon fixed my UPVC balcony door that had somehow shifted, to the extent that I could no longer lock it.
I definitely recommend him, because:
1. He was by far the most competitive price wise, compared to a few others
2. He fixed the problem quickly and very efficiently, adjusting both hinges and locks.
3. He explained the problem, as I was interested, and had tried to fix it myself
4. He is very pleasant, polite, highly professional and super honest.

Simon was great! He replaced two locks for my new home, and was able to come by within a few hours of my call. He explained everything very well, and was lovely to work with.

Simon responded to my WhatsApp promptly for a replacement security latch - he has transparent and very fair pricing. On the job he was polite, very helpful and clear - all while doing an excellent and quick job. Would highly recommend and happily use again for future work.

Excellent trustworthy service. Clear pricing, professional, first class communication and reliable.
Would most definitely recommend. A***

Simon did a fantastic job of fitting a new lock to my front door. He was prompt, exceptionally efficient, friendly and charged a fair price. Highly-recommend this reliable locksmith.

I called Simon in the morning as my UPVC door handle had progressively gotten stiffer to manoeuvre, which meant the door was difficult to lock. He gave a few options in terms of diagnosing the problem over the phone with a price quote for each. He arrived within the agreed 2 hour slot, having phoned ahead to say he was on his way. He was very professional in his approach, fully explained everything he did, and kept to his quote. I'm fully satisfied with the outcome and would definitely recommend his services to others.

Thanks so much Simon for changing the locks on our new home. You were really helpful from the start - clearly explaining our options and being transparent on pricing. Throughout the job, you kept us updated and made sure we were happy with everything. It was also great that you took the time to explain how everything works and where to get extra keys. We’d definitely recommend you and will be in touch again if needed.

Excellent reliable service: honest assessment and price.
Absolutely recommendable.

I recently had issues with two uPVC patio doors and contacted SMR Locksmiths for help. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received.

Simon arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the problems. He explained everything clearly and got straight to work, fixing both doors efficiently. The quality of the work was excellent and everything is now working perfectly again.

What really stood out was how polite, professional, and friendly Simon was throughout the visit. It’s rare to find someone who combines such great customer service with real expertise. The price was also very reasonable, especially considering how quickly and effectively the issues were resolved.

Overall, the service was exceptional from start to finish. I would highly recommend SMR Locksmiths to anyone needing a reliable and trustworthy locksmith.

My nightlatch broke and Simon came to fix within an hour of me calling; excellent customer service, easy to deal with and very happy with the result. No hidden charges and no messing around, will be recommending to others!

Simon is a true professional! I had an issue with my loft hatch trap door & was unable to close it. So I gave Simon a call after finding his contact details on google search for local Locksmiths. He asked me for a few details & suggested I WhatsApp him a few photos to analyse the problem and he messaged straightaway & arranged to come over the next morning confirming labour cost which was reasonable. He didn't waste time and got on with the job immediately and managed to align the hatch trap door, making the necessary adjustments to the catch & fixed the lock instead of replacing the parts saving me some money. He was honest, polite & considerate and came prepared with his tools and explained what the problem was and what he needed to do to fix it. I was so impressed with his work & will definitely recommend him to friends and family and if I ever need a locksmith in future, he'll be my first port of call. It's so difficult to find decent & reliable tradesman like Simon now a days.

Simon was brilliant, helped with new door and garage security quickly and efficiently

I had an issue with my front door lock and I’m so glad I called this locksmith. He was incredibly fast at diagnosing the problem and worked with great care and attention to every single detail. He didn’t rush anything and made absolutely sure that everything was working perfectly before he finished.
What really impressed me was his professionalism: he explained everything clearly and patiently, step by step, so I could understand exactly what was wrong and what he had done to fix it.
In a time when it’s becoming harder to find truly polite, respectful and highly skilled tradespeople, this gentleman stands out. He was courteous, tidy, and genuinely cared about doing a perfect job.
I’m really happy with the result and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs a reliable, professional locksmith. One of the best experiences I’ve had with a tradesman in a long time!
Thank you so much – 10/10! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I can't rate SMR Locksmiths highly enough. From my first call to the company through to Simon's arrival at the property and installing of requested lock items - they were absolutely and thoroughly professional. Simon was an absolute delight - friendly, professional and quick, and his workmanship was top notch. He turned up promptly at the appointed time, showed his forms of ID without question, and as he worked he fully explained everything he was doing and why. And the cherry on the cake... He cleaned up after himself and left the place looking spick and span!! Result! I am not normally a review writer, but I owed this one to SMR & Simon. I would definitely recommend them 100%.
