The Simply Tajweed books 1-5 were a brilliant source of knowledge learnt through a very simple and fun way
I feel everyone should be able to learn. Tajweed this way as it makes the learning easy to understand it breaks everything down 1 step at a time.
All the discussion points are very useful and the small exercises at the back consolidate your understanding which I think is a key point so you don’t forget the topic.

Simply Tajweed is a great interactive course and has a simple, broken down structure. The book is simple to follow and very easy to learn from and remember. I have learnt many things from the book that I had been doing wrong when reading Quran that I can now do properly. Reading Quran isn’t only about the rules but it’s also about understanding the rules. I thought they were very complicated before but I read the book and it explains it really well. There’s also discussion points so you understand how the rule applies in the Quran better.

This course is amazing. The layout of the books and the discussion point are very helpful as a student. I know it is something I can definitely look back on in the future. It has all the key information you need and more. I highly recommend this course.

Simply Tajweed is honestly the only best resource out there, to learn to read the Qur’an with your full potential. The best thing about this 5-book course is that it’s open to anyone, even people who know nothing about Tajweed. It has everything you need to learn all about it and not only does it compile all the rules of the Qur’an step by step but it has interactive points, where you, yourself can apply your knowledge, not only that but it has loads of questions about each topic, as well as the answers at the back and a summary of all the rules along with a notes page. Not to mention the amount of effort that has been put into the design and organisation of all the books. I greatly recommend this course to anyone who is interested and open to enhance their Quran reading.

these books are amazing for teaching! as a person who's never understood the concept of tajweed very well, these books were the only thing that made me understand! the summaries and discussion boxes really helped and i think this is a fantastic book series, highly reccommend!

Great As a student, I find this course easy to understand and feel it has greatly improved how I read the Quran.

As a student who has been using these books for 3 years now, I love these books because I know that I have something reliable to look back to. When reading, sometimes you see a symbol that you’ve never seen before, or you’re just not sure if you’ve been pronouncing a letter right all this time. With these books, you can check quickly by using the glossary or by reading the well set out lessons. What I especially find unique about these books is that they each have QR codes that you can scan that leads you to a link that contains the sounds and pronunciations of the letters or rules that you can listen to. The presentations are great and not wordy at all, Allahuma barik I’m so impressed by the quality of these books and the sessions. The more people that use this course, the more knowledge that is spread.

I started the Tajweed lessons last year at the university with my friends.

They have been really informative and both brother Muhammad and Usdath have been incredible. Ustadth explains the concepts clearly and in depth each lesson and makes them as interactive as possible by asking us questions. Nobody is afraid to answer because there’s no judgement from anyone, it’s always a learning experience and the initiative itself has been amazing too. The book is really easy to understand and there are many examples provided too. I have really enjoyed myself and loved learning Tajweed with my friends weekly.

As a student who has been studying this course for 3 years I've learned so much beneficial knowledge. These books are so simple and easy to understand with interactive activities such as discussion points and short yet comprehensive quizzes at the end of the book. The over all aesthetic of these books are beautiful and eye catching which help children such as me get a better understanding and be excited to learn. They go straight to the point but are careful to explain the key information. They are truly informative and contain a lifetime of information to better your Quran reading. As someone who has always struggled with Tajweed, I'm finally understanding it thanks to these books and I have moved up to an advanced Quran group due to Simply Tajweed whilst my recitation is only improving. I'm at a level where I think I could use this course to guide others in their Tajweed. I would highly recommend Simply Tajweed to others so they can be blessed with perfected Quran recitation.

As a student currently studying with simply tajweed , I think the course so far has been very beneficial and I have noticed my quran recitation getting stronger . The books are very easy to read and understand and they help make tajweed much easier than it seems. They are filled with many interactive elements such as the examples and discussion points .The audios are also great feature that help with pronunciation and applying the rules. A lot of effort has been put into these books and I think they are great .I would recommend this course to anyone seeking to learn about Tajweed from any ability!

The Simply Tajweed books are comprehensive and very useful. I am just about to complete the course, I'm on the last lesson of Book 5, and I think that my journey with Simply Tajweed has been really interesting and eye opening. The Qur'an has so many rules, and it made me realise that in order to cherish the words of Allah, you need to read them correctly in order to fully feel contentment. The Simply Tajweed books are written in a way that is understandable for all ages, and the layout makes it very easy to process. There are many different components to the books, such as Interactive Audios, Discussion Points, Keyword Alerts, and Exercises with Answers. The Interactive Audios are very helpful. The pronunciation is clear and the videos are short so that it is easy to practice. The database is very easily accessible, as there are QR codes to scan in each book. The Discussion Points allow you to think about each topic thoroughly through Quranic words, and the Keyword Alerts are very useful as they allow you to identify the important words within each topic. The Exercises are also really good when it comes to practicing/revising. I can tell that a lot of effort has been put into these books MashaAllah. Overall, I am really impressed with the Simply Tajweed course! ✨

I recently attended a series of educational sessions and was thoroughly impressed with the quality and structure. The materials provided were exceptionally well-organized, making it easy to follow along and reference key points. The interactive nature of the sessions was a standout feature. The course is designed really well to make tajweed a lot easier than it seems. As one of the first to experience using this I can truly say that each lesson has been planned with care and the difficult topics are constructed in a manageable and clear way. Personally SimplyTajweed is the only guide I needed to be able to learn the basics and more. Thanks to the carefully planned lessons learning to read the Qur'an with excellence never seemed too difficult. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is struggling to grasp the complex grammar in the Qur'an in a much simpler way!

So I completed the Simply Tajweed course using the online teaching alongside the physical coursebooks in the Summer of 2023.

I'd say the programme is a much needed addition to the way that tajweed is traditionally taught. It is incredibly well structured and thought out from the way the 5 books are divided up and broken down further into digestible lessons. The way the content builds lesson, to lesson and book to book is wonderful. The content flows constructively and cohesively. There is clear evidence of careful thought and composition of the programme throughout.

The online delivery is at a nice slow pace, which may be a little too slow at the start for those with a good amount of prior knowledge, however it ensures that the course is approachable, understandable and digestible by virtually all people regardless of age, ability and first language as is intended.

The course is very comprehensive, taking students from a basic understanding of the alphabet, to proper pronunciation of all the letters and their associated characteristics. It covers rules of tajweed (naturally!), and concludes by familiarising the student with the types of madd, along with unique one off places in the Quran which are pronounced differently. Each topic is brought forward in a timely manner so that the student is not overwhelmed with information at any point. Many bits of Arabic terminology which can often be complex and confusing for those unfamiliar, is translated and the English counterparts are used to reference the concepts in most cases so as to not lose the student which is wonderful.

Furthermore, a concept which sets this programme apart from the rest, is the sense of community that the creator has successfully managed to develop with the programme. He responds to questions above and beyond the scope of the course in a timely manner with sufficient explanations, and the activities incorporated into the online course help the whole experience feel less isolating than most online learning courses.

The course itself feels firmly grounded with academic backing. It feels sure of itself especially when dealing with different schools of thought with the recitation of the Quran, acknowledging their existence, however ensuring not to lose the student in rabbit holes of valid differences of opinion. This gives the student confidence in their knowledge, having written backing for the way they are taught to recite by way of this programme.

I can write much with regards to the merits of this programme and my strong endorsements of it. Despite the programme being in its infancy with some small hiccups which have been highlighted to the creator, it feels like a well thought out, well produced, well finished product. I strongly recommend it to anyone and everyone. From those who struggle reading the Quran, all the way to those who are proficient with its recitation. I cannot endorse this programme strongly enough. I believe that the science of reciting the Quran accurately is one of the most important things a Muslim can learn, and this programme is a fantastic way of going about it.
Going full circle, I feel this is a much needed adjunct to the way tajweed is traditionally taught. It makes no attempt to replace a teacher who would listen to one’s recitation and correct their mistakes. However, what it does successfully accomplish, is equipping the student with the knowledge and tools to apply the rules and correct understanding of tajweed in their recitation of the Quran. A teacher would be great alongside this programme to fine tune the student’s technique with the tools provided. Both are needed and would work synergistically in my opinion.

To conclude, Simply Tajweed is a fantastic programme of the highest quality, which I wholeheartedly endorse. I look forward to seeing this programme rolled out in schools and madrassahs and I pray Allah accepts this initiative, spreads it far and wide and makes it a means for people to connect more deeply with the Quran.

As a teacher I feel privileged to recommend ‘Simply Tajweed’ to anyone who wants to be connected with Quran. Tajweed is so important because correct pronunciation of the language of the Quran will reach the hearts of those who listen to it. That is why you must read with care, to absorb the meaning of the verses and to understand how to apply the laws and directives to your life. I would like to highlight few point regarding simply tajweed books.
The books are very well presented and designed. They have a good sequence and approach to the content that makes it easy to follow from start to finish. It’s a great resource for those who want to teach and for those that want to learn. It’s simple and straight to the point. There are a lot of books of Tajweed that are overwhelming. These books might, of course, still be overwhelming for new students but I believe it won’t take long to get to grips with. The inclusion of notes and extras. These add food for thought and a chance for further explanations.
I have enjoyed teaching ‘Simply Tajweed’ text books and would strongly recommend for both students and teachers alike as a valuable resource for learning and teaching Tajweed.
