Cheating and Hiding Information's to sell equipment's

I've received an email from silver chef about returning three equipments . Each machine costs around $450 as a processing fee ($1350 approx). Initially, I spoke with Customer Care and Local Sales Executive , and they only mentioned transportation costs of around $1000. We expressed concern about the expense and weren't interested in returning the items (detailed email send to supplier and silver chef sale person). But the supplier offered us less than $600 (and he only charged us $269 which is highly appreciated) to take this from us and deliver at your warehouse (Brisbane)and we agreed.

However, we've now learned that there's a processing fee, which wasn't mentioned earlier. When i received the paper work that time also not mentioned about processing fee. I have texted to the supplier regarding any other expenses he didn’t replied. All they wanted to sell new equipments with not informing extra charges and fees involved. I have all the documentation for that in emails and text msgd. The total cost, including transportation and processing, is around $1800, the three equipments are worth $3400. If we could keep them for future use or sell them through our sources is much beneficial.

We're unhappy about the unexpected processing fee (when we are buying equipments also there is a huge processing Fee), especially since one of the machines is brand new and unused. If silver shef wants to charge us, we're not accepting it and will explore other options or keep it for our upcoming cafe.
We purchase our equipment from local suppliers through SilverChef. However, when it comes time to return or upgrade, we are forced to ship the items to Brisbane or Melbourne at a significant cost, as SilverChef has no return warehouse in NSW. This will be our last agreement with them. While the Rental scheme seems attractive initially, the logistics and processing fees after and before upgrading are a major financial loss and a waste of time.

We’ve reviewed the details of your return. Documentation outlining the applicable processing costs was sent on 5 February, prior to the equipment being returned.

While equipment is supplied through local dealers, returns are processed through SilverChef’s national warehouses, which means transport and processing costs apply as part of the standard return process and are outlined in the agreement and return documentation.

Compensation Request for Soft Serve Machine Issues

Hello, this is Ikon Store.

We have been renting the soft serve ice cream machine since the end of December. However, the machine did not operate properly, and we have not been able to sell any ice cream. As a result, the vanilla and matcha ice cream liquid had to be discarded on two occasions.

We contacted your team multiple times via email and phone, but the technician did not arrive promptly. The first machine was returned, and we received a replacement in February. Although the rental fee for February was waived, the machine was not installed until February 26.

Even after installation, the next day the matcha ice cream still came out as liquid, and customers who came to buy ice cream were disappointed. We had planned a promotional ice cream event this Saturday and spent labor costs to advertise it, but the event had to be canceled again due to the machine malfunction.

Given the repeated issues and resulting losses, we kindly request appropriate compensation for this situation.

We’ve been working closely with you, the supplier and service technicians to resolve this.

The original unit that was returned was tested and no faults were identified. When the replacement machine was installed, we also arranged and covered the cost of a technician to commission the unit and train staff, which is not typically included.

As advised by the technician the issue appears to be related to operation rather than a fault with the equipment. To ensure your kitchen is operating effectively, we have arranged a follow up visit to confirm everything is working correctly. We hope this support resolves your issue.

Our store hasn’t opened and silverchef has started charging us money already. We asked for an extension but I did not hear back from you.
We will provide this feedback to all upcoming stores in the franchise and advise to pay upfront.

The service was great to the point of…

The service was great to the point of delivery of items. But we have had no response to mails sent regarding two pieces of equipment that we are unhappy with. This was mailed and noted within a couple of days of receipt and to date we have not had any response. This is disappointing.

Overall my experience has been good
