Richard Fitzsimmons (sales rep) took extra steps during my complicated purchase which smoothed out issues I created while attempting the order online. I'm grateful for his proficiency!

Katelynn Fryer , is the reason , I am a Signature Solar customer . If it were not for her full understanding of the solar inverter system I’m using , and what I wanted (biggest panels they make ) verses what I truly needed , aptos 460 watt panels , I would have a bunch of panels that were over the limits of my system . Katelynn understood I wanted BIG , impossible to ship size panels . Katelynn gained my trust , Katelynn also kept me up to speed on shipping dates, because these panels were back ordered , I told Katelynn that I was not in a hurry for delivery right away.
Katelynn Fryer is an asset to Signature Solar for many reasons that pertains to my purchase , when I rang up the bill , I came up $50 short on my split payment , So I called Katelynn back and said wait I have a coupon code , and she made things happen ,

If you’re in the market for any type of solar equipment, don’t go anywhere but Signature Solar. Everyone I had the pleasure of speaking with from design team, sales, customer service and tech support are nothing short of outstanding.

Case in point, I ordered a pallet of 35 solar panels that were delivered but I did not notice that there was damage at the bottom due to the shrink wrap. Four days before the solar installers were to come is when I cut the shrink wrap and noticed the damage. I called and spoke with Preston Sewell in sales and sent pictures. Told him I needed to order new ones and fast. He told me, “Got you covered sir”. He transferred me to customer service, and Jonathan Ortiz took care of the rest. The new panels arrived in two days and in time for the installers.

That is how you take care of your customers!!

The service was as great. Elizabeth Arms was very helpful during the entire ordering process. She also kept me informed as things were proceeding.

Signature Solar has always been a fair and reliable source of solar power equipment and support. Richard Fitzsimmons was a pleasure to work with.

I would like the warranty text copied and displayed in your next reply, highlighting, and showing the clause(s) you are referring too. As I find no statements as you describe in the warranty or installation manuals.

At this point in time it is impossible to determine the state of the compressor. All I know is that the line set failed, and it may well be from a compressor malfunction that exceeded the capability of the High pressure line and cause failure of the connection. Without diagnostics, and no way to determine the fault which caused the issue. I have a faulty EG 24K hybrid mini split system.

Update 3: Having installed the replacement line set, using the following step, Closing both Schrader valves on both sides of the compressor, Removed the old line set, installed the new line set, and then re-opened both Schrader valves. After about 5 minutes of restoring power the unit DID begin to cool. I have no idea the freon level or the condition of the compressor but we are monitoring the unit frequently. (Note: my first purchased 24K mini split line set also failed in the last two days. Exactly in the same way as the current repair. Now we will go down that path. I am curious if the line set issue is the weakness in this system and if hard soldered connection will prevent future failure. Of course, we want to do nothing that voids warramty.

I used to be a GREAT fan of the EG4 24K hybrid minisplit marketed by Signature solar. I have purchased two, 9 panel kits. As they are marketed as DIY projects, I have installed them both without issue.

THE ISSUE IS......the line set on the second unit failed after less than 4 months, dumping the freon. EG4 sent a replacement line set and I asked what about the freon. Wyatt, the tech explained that EG4 does not pay for the replacement of Freon and the necessary servicing to recharge the system. Again this is a DIY system, and very few DIY'ers have the equipment to vacuum the system and less than a few have the license to purchase R32 refrigerant in Texas. Still both Signature Solar and EG4 have washed their hands of me quoting the WARRANY. I have read the warranty after finding it online. (It took awhile, it does not appear on the downloads page for the 24K mini-split web page). I'm still not ready to give up, BUT BUT BUT if you are considering a 24K hybrid mini-split BE SURE TO READ THEIR WARRANTY. Your repairs may not be possible because we DIY'er (the market this is for) do not have the equipment or skills to do repairs if there is a failure and it will be ALLL BE ON YOUR BACK and WALLET.

Keshawn Grey assisted me by phone. Final hookup of my inverter to grid. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Pleasant. ‘Technical’ of Signature Solar is excellent!

RS of SS blatantly lied, stating the pallet of solar panels will be dropped on my garage or barn concrete floor, but when the truck arrived they had no way of removing a 9' long pallet. It had to be taken apart one by one in the truck to be placed in the yard costing an additional 250.00, etc. Thank goodness for phenomenal neighbors. Signature Solar are liars.

I have been dealing with Signature Solar on my project for 3 years when you call sales or service odds are you will get a framilar voice. Those voices are unique today real people with real knowledge not just prompt followers.

My most recent tech call was to Jacqueline i have talked to her 2 or 3 times before over the years this time she walked me through settings to retrain my batteries. No guesswork just knowledge. Every time I have talked to tech they have been helpful and patient. We are not all solar installers or solar engineers and they will meet you at your level.

Have confidence in dealing with Signature Solar they will not disapoint. Products are top draw Servive is freat and prices I dont think you could find new solar panels for less anywhere else.

I just completed my fourth order from Signature Solar. Total amount for all orders is just shy of $20K. Every order was perfect (as advertised, shipped properly, good communication before, during, and after the sale, all the way through to successful delivery. This last order needed a little help with redocumenting for the military discount and getting a quote. All this adminstrative action was handled quickly and professionally by Cristian Trejo in real time over chat and email. I'm highly satisfied with the buying experience and quality equipment (EG4, Aptos panels, etc.)

I am very impressed with Signature Solar, they have walked me thru the entire process of adding a battery backup to my system. Great after purchase follow up on all my questions. I whole heartily recommend them and would/ will use them again.
