I've been using Sydney Jackson and Son since I got my Mondeo about 4 years ago. They're aren't my closest Ford dealer, but it's worth travelling a couple of miles extra as the service is so much better than the larger dealer that is closer to me.

They're a smallish old school family run dealership and I really like the friendly casual approach they have, no keeping you at arms length like the bigger dealerships. I've since recommended my brother to take his Grand CMAX to them, and he has also been impressed by the service. They have even offered unprompted discounts when having multiple pieces of work done (e.g. discounted tyres or gearbox oil changes, when done at the same time as a service).

Even though my car is now 10 years old, I still take it to Sidney Jackson for servicing as the price isn't much more than independent garages, and I get 12 months of AA cover thrown in, which covers at least half the cost of the service.

If I decide that my next car is going to be a Ford, Sidney Jackson will definitely be my first stop, as I believe it's important for consumers to reward good service and fair treatment. If we don't, we'll all end up stuck with monopolistic mega-dealerships who couldn't care less about their customers!

Quick, efficient and friendly service as always, have used Sidney Jackson since 2014 following a recommendation to use them. I always recommend them myself too.

Used these guys for the first time today for a service and mot for my ford transit minibus (soon to be campervan)
and I have to say very impressed... from the support info given to me running upto service and the contact and conduct throughout... I have used a lot of main dealers in my life and these guys are at the top...I actually forgot they were on my doorstep... a big thank you to John Dwyer for help/info he's given me in recent weeks too... its really nice to see old school business acumen in this day & age... it was the first time I have used them, but definitely wont be the last..

I phoned Sidney Jackson and son last year for a service on my car and found them to be very help full collected and returned.
so this year car was due a interim service and 1st mot I had no hesitation and every thing was ok it is so nice to find a garage you can trust with my car .

First used car I've bought for 11 years. After enquiring about the car the communication from Liam was first class even when the garage shut on Sunday. First class service then from Simon on the sales team. Very nice and professional bloke. Made paying for the car and picking up very easy. After sales service through Simon is exceptional. A very trusting and professional company to deal with. I am glad I bought my car through Sydney Jackson and Sons. I will definitely be conducting further business with them when my next car purchase is due.

Not actually had any work done yet but commenting on the extremely quick response to my online enquiry and the clear, upfront information I received today. Gave me the confidence to book in for service and mot.

Excellent service as always. Car booked in for Friday but service done and car picked up on Wednesday.

Unsatisfactory engine repair done.

Took 22 days to get a leaking O Ring changed.
No communication from dealer - I phoned 3 times to chase up.
Car returned with damaged plastic engine cover not replaced and oil covering the cables on top of the engine. Looks dangerous to inspection.

Update: Sidney Jackson have been in touch promptly after I emailed my concerns. Lots of discussions and I am grateful for their taking my complaint seriously. They have ordered in a new engine cover to replace the damaged one. The oil staining on the cables is baked on so doesn’t present any fire risk, I’ll give it a scrub down and clean as best as I can.

Communication has been lacking here, until I raised a concern, but I understand the pressures Covid has put on them. It’s an 8 year older car but that doesn’t mean I don’t want it in perfect running order.

Sidney Jackson take their reputation seriously and that is gratifying to see.

High praise for Liam, Simon and driver Rob for looking after us when we purchased a one-year-old plug-in Kuga. Liam was always professional and courteous. this is a well established family firm with strong values. I found them scrupulously honest, easy to deal with (in wierd circumstances), and attentive. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Very pleased with my new car purchase all done via phone or on line hassle free and great communication all through by Liam & his team. Will use them again for future purchases and will recommend to others.

I have just purchased a Kuga ST line X MHEV from Sydney Jackson, this is the 9th new car I have purchased of various makes and the 3rd new Kuga.
I can honestly say this has been the most pleasant purchase experience I have encountered on any of my purchases. The sales staff were completely transparent on all aspects, friendly, efficient, competitive and actually phoned back when they said they would. They went the extra mile in customer service. I will definitely be looking to give them my future custom. I will not be using the bigger dealerships and will stick with this independent where customer is valued. Keep it up guys and keep safe.

We found Sidney Jackson on Carwow when looking to purchase a new Ford Kuga as they offered the vehicle at a competitive price.

They were generous as they offered us to test drive one of the PHEV kugas used by the staff which was a surprise.

They were very customer-oriented - answering our barrage of questions and discussing with us the best configuration.

We purchased a Kuga from them but had to cancel it due to the ongoing battery issues, however this has no effect on our opinion of Sidney Jackson & co. I would happily recommend them as they are more customer friendly than the TrustFord dealerships I've interacted with!
