Don’t buy Sharp! Avoid!!!!

Had this condenser tumble dryer for just over a year! And already needed new parts which are not available! So have had to buy a new one!!! Will never buy Sharp brand ever again and will tell everyone to avoid!!!!

Not a care to be given

Utter rubbish. Rang sharp about an e-scooter and these things are hitting the £500 range. The handlebar stem has snapped on the weld and they will not do anything about it as it’s not the electrical part. I asked where I can buy a replacement part and was told that they don’t do replacement parts at all. So for £500 they do a rubbish job at welding and then laugh as you have to but a new scooter!

Poor product, even worse customer service

Informed customer services of a slow reacting TV. They sent software which stopped the TV working altogether. Despite being within the guarantee, they refused to send an engineer or provide a replacement.
Cannot recommend product or customer services in any way. Would advise considering alternative options if looking to buy a TV.

Would give MINUS 5 star rating if I could.
Bought washing machine in March this year, and already 2 faults.
BEWARE as well - their "customer service email" address helpdesk.GB@sharphomeappliances. com does not exist !!! Even though you get told while on the line that thisis their email address, and it's also advertised everywhere, that this is their official email address - but emails get returned UNDELIVERED!

Coustomer service is non-existent. You don't get ANYBODY competent on the phone, they keep putting you on hold. I was actually eventually able to register my warranty for the washing machine, and "make an appointment for an engineer" but they never sent anybody out. I was told i'd receive a text the day before my appointment, which never happened, and then nobody turned up. So I wasted ANOTHER full day, trying to get through to customer service, who then "apparently" try putting you through to either the warranty team or to the technicians, but then eventually kick you off the line.
Eventually was able to get an appointment with Pacifica who thankfully came to firx the machine - but again another week later!
Although I'm slightly suspicious, as I think it was Pacifica I had been put though the week before and didn't turn up then. Also, when you call Pacifica, the same happens, that you either can't get through for hours or then are being kept on hold and transferred.

Will definitely never get a Sharp appliance again.
I never ever had any problems with my old washing machines (Hotpoint, Whirlpool and Indesit), they literally just broke down eventually due to age, but never any faults.

Would be great if the instructions actuallly worked

My old microwave combi from Bosch Lost its grille after ten or more years of excellent service.
I was unaware that it could be repaired so I bought a Panasonic which I could not get on with. Reading
Amazon reviews I then bought from them a SHARP YC-GC52BU-B 25 Litre 900W Digital Combination Microwave Oven with 1200W Grill.
In June 2024. It's now November 2024 and I reckon it has ruined over £100 worth of food, due to the bad Instructions or lack of them.
Using the microwave is fine if you need to warm coffee. Open the door, put your coffee cup with ingredients and press a button three times.
But try to cook a fruit or meat pie. If its from frozen the pie company says 2 minutes in the microwave to thaw the inside and 8 minutes on convection at 180 centigrade. Not on this machine. The results are either solid ice or burnt meat.
The front symbols are unreadable and the manual is only readable if you first blow it up to A4 and print it out.
Sadly the convection instructions stop halfway through the process.
So today I have asked Amazon's supplier to refund me. Not much hope of this but we'll see.
Meantime I rang Bosch UK and spoke to a lady who was very helpful. She sent me a list of combies that work and suppliers who have them in stock.
I'm calling at one tomorrow.
If I don't get a refund I'll just bin the Sharp one.
Strange how Anazon shows an average review for Sharp at 4.7.
Trust pilots average is 1.7.
Strange? Or deliberate?

Warning! Do NOT buy Sharp!!

I bought a Sharp integrated fridge in September 2022. In August 2024 it started to freeze up, forming a thick wall of ice at the back of the fridge, and freezing the contents, which had to be thrown out. I phoned Sharp to inquire about a repair. They were very helpful, telling me that my fridge came with a 2 year warranty and that I was covered. An engineer from Pacifica came out and fitted a new thermostat. Unfortunately this did not solve the problem. A second engineer visit was arranged, and this time I was told that the fridge was not repairable. So far so good in terms of customer service, but it went downhill from here. Pacific emailed me with an "uplift code", with no guidance on what this meant, or what to do with it. Fast forward several emails, and many repeated attempts to get hold of Sharp customer service, without success (they literally don't answer the phone). Eventually spoke to someone at Pacifica, who told me I needed to give the uplift number to the retailer, who would replace the fridge or refund me. Needless to say, the retailer - Blue Moon Appliances - although friendly and polite, were adamant that it was not their responsibility, there was "nothing we can do", and that it was Sharp/Pacifica's responsibility. Back I went to Pacifica, and you can guess their response, they told me to go back to the retailer. I chose not to continue with this battle as I value my mental and physical health too much to deal with these companies who are only bothered about filling their own purses. So essentially I have a fridge that is now just over 2 years old, which thinks it's a freezer, and neither the manufacturer nor the retailer care in the slightest, because they've got their money... Avoid!!!

Worked for 14 months.

SHARP YC-MS01U-S Compact 20 Litre 800W Manual control Microwave, 5 power levels, defrost function, LED cavity light - Silver
The glass round turntable plate kept slipping off the fixings very easily. This Microwave worked well for
about a year, then noticed paint peeling off the front lower edge. Then a couple of months later noticed that the paint on the floor of the microwave was bubbling up, and going to peel off !!

Wrote to Sharps, but of course it is out of Warranty...just ! Sharps should be ashamed to produce a LOW quality product like this .

Gastro Microwelle R-15AM

Schon nach knapp 3 Jahren normalem Hausgebrauch kaputt. Die 5KV 800mA Sicherung hat sich aus unerklärlichen Gründen verabschiedet. Ich werde versuchen,diese zu ersetzen. Das war aber das letzte Produkt aus diesem Haus.

Warning! They don’t honour their warranty.

Bought a Sharp dishwasher with a 2 year warranty a year and a half ago. It’s now broken and I can’t get hold of anyone to claim on the warranty. I have emailed the address given and phoned the number on the warranty information. Sharp ignore the emails completely and the phone number just hangs up. Disgusting customer service.

Assistenza zero

Ho preso un tv top di gamma...di meglio non c'è che dopo 5 mesi si accende e si spegne in continuazione e quindi essendo in garanzia provi a cercare qualcuno che poi scopri non esiste e poi scopri che l'unico nella città che può aggiustarlo ti dice che tanto i pezzi non arriveranno mai...era un tv per la cucina che usavo per vedere il TG quindi esteticamente era perfetto 55fq5 per il resto ho sony e panasonic. Unico tv in vita mia e ne ho avuti tanti che dovrò buttare e prendere un samsung e grazie sharp.

I detest this washing machine with a passion

Two regular 40° washes take longer than a 7 and a half hour working day. The Fast 60° program can be changed to 40° but then it will only spin at 1200 rather than 1400 and has to be re spun. Sometimes washing doesn’t even feel wet all the way through and I’ve had lots of issues where it flatly refuses to spin correctly (it took 5 1/2 hours yesterday to eventually get one thin bath towel and a very small pad from the dog’s bed to spin)

Installed by AO engineers who gouged the wooden flooring in the kitchen. And after just one month it started squeaking (engineer due this Thursday)

All in all the worst washing machine I’ve ever had the misfortune to own

Ich habe wg einer Störung an einem…

Ich habe wg einer Störung an einem letzte Wiche gekauften Wärmepumpentrockners den SharpKundendienst kontaktiert
Eine nur gebrochen Deutsch sprechende Dame war in 15 Minuten kaum in der Lage meine Daten aufzunehmen.
Für das Problem mit dem Trockner soll ich nun warten bis ein Techniker sich zum VorOrtTermin meldet
Ich hoffe nur das funktioniert

SHARP SERVICE IS ZERO ( please don't buy anything sharp products)

hi. please don't buy anything from sharp products.. because one's you have. you will cry hol life ..I brought clothes dryer 2020 December with 5 years warranty (electro depot Anderlecht, Brussels, Belgium) I called up to electro depot lot of time they said contact to are service contractor..I contact to service contractor office lots of time they have given whatup number as well...just resvied massage from them wait tactical people are busy ww will get back to you very soon last three weeks. same things..than I tried to contact sharp company in Belgium they said please fill contact form I did it .. after they said we can not do anything you have to contact electric depot Anderlecht..sharp service is big zero ...

My television was six months old in…

My television was six months old in warranty and was told by Paul in customer services they do not repair or replace t v s over 40 inches as they would get damaged more in transit so what do we do.The customer service is terrible I even went to citizens advice they put me on to consumer Scotland and I was taking it further.I am a 63 old disabled pensioner and I spent two days on phone and no Resolution from them.
Please don t buy sharp t v s

useless TV!!! bad design and customer service are useless

This TV was the worst purchase ever, it has always been really slow and buffers constantly, you can't download new apps that aren't preloaded and when it was just over a year old I kept getting messages it did not recognise the internet password even though there is nothing wrong with the password which worked fine on a box connected to the TV.

Due to being well within the warranty period when the internet issues started, I contacted customer service, emails were sent back and forth for months (a delay on my part due to health issues) but I was given instructions for a hard reset of the TV which worked again for a few weeks and it started losing the connection again! The only way to get it back is to turn it off at the socket for minutes or hard reset (the socket is behind heavy furniture so not feasible and I should not have to do either of these!!!)

This time I was told they would provide me with updated software but it turns out that even though I can provide all the TV details as seen onscreen including the CURRENT SOFTWARE version etc, I actually can't get the updated software because I need the serial number of the TV which is currently located behind were the wall mount connects to the TV so it can't be seen once mounted!! This is such a bad design fault!!! So now I am left with a useless TV that loses the connection every few weeks due to being disabled I can't get it back down from the wall mount to gain access to the serial number, which seems mute given I have proof of purchase and the current software information.
Paying someone just to remove the TV to find the serial number would be almost as much as a new TV.

ABSOLUTER WITZ !!!!

Unsere Firma war jahre lang zufriedener Kunder bei Konica Minolta. Dann wurden wir überedet, zu Sharp zu wechseln. Fazit: Eine einzige Katastrophe! Von der Einrichtung durch unsere IT, bis hin zur Bedienung ist alles 10x schlechter wie bei Konica Minolta! Leider haben wir uns übereden lassen.... einmal und nie wieder!!! Schluss endlich mussten wir für eine optimale Nutzung des Geräts dann nochmal für über 400€ eine Lizenz dazu buchen.... Einfach nur ein unverschämter abzocker Laden!
