I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received. I was logged out of my account and have been unable to log back in because the OTP required for authentication never arrives. Despite multiple attempts, the issue persists.
As a Platinum subscriber, I expect reliable access and responsive support. Unfortunately, your website has been unreliable, and my attempts to reach support have gone unanswered. This level of service is unacceptable.
I need this issue resolved immediately. Please:
Restore my account access without further delay
Investigate why OTPs are not being delivered
Provide a prompt and direct response to this complaint If this is not addressed urgently, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter further.
I expect a response as soon as possible.

I signed up for the Premium pack on February 09, 2026, and validated my relevant ID within a week of my subscription. Recently, I was traveling to the US and did not check my mail for about a week. They had asked me to update my details (again) by the end of March to ensure that “only valid customers” log in. I uploaded it again, but soon got a message that it was invalid, followed by a conflicting email which said that my account has been “deactivated due to policy reasons." What these policies were was never explained. The first email prompted me to use another email ID and re-register my details without explaining why or whether this would be treated as a new account. But then, I got a third email stating that “Your account has been totally deactivated. Contact Customer Care.” I have written several email messages to Customer Care, which is apparently in a coma. There has been no response or call. In one email, I stated that I can receive calls from India but cannot call back, as I live in a different country. These same folks called me to remind me to pay up during my subscription days. They are very prompt in calling for payments. (LOL)
I then escalated the matter to Sharmila Mylvaganam, Grievance Cell, as suggested on their page. No response there either. I searched and found that she has left the organization. Now with a month more to go for my subscription, I am unable to even log in with my registered mail ID, leave side A) Upload my ID. B) Enter my details again. I am pretty sure they will make me pay again if I want to continue. A very sorry state of inefficiency, and indifference.

If I could give 0 stars, I WOULD! My Shaadi.Com experience has made me weary about my femininity and the whole marriage aspect. I created an a/c on 8 Apr'26 & immediately subscribed to Premium for approximately 8k. My serious dedication to fulfil wishes of my parents and relatives horrified me & there's more... I am new to this but the basics on how to use a filter on a website is ingrained. Despite filters the matches weren't satisfactory. Some invites were completely off, and given today's situation, I restricted people from contacting me anyway other than the webiste/app.
Being a natural in anxiety, I made sure people who reached out to me understood my bio to avoid false hopes from both parties. The filters/preferences kept changing, mysteriously, & initially 1 gaslit myself into thinking maybe I missed. Used website/app for 2 days & realised the issue. Filters kept changed mysteriously. I panicked; hid my profile, took a little break to understand everything. CS team calls on 11 April '26, asks to upgrade AGAIN to find 'better' matches. Explained my concern but the CS team was defensive, persistent about my lack of understanding of their web/app. Already struggling with MASSIVE personal issues, I snapped. I did argue & said something crude but that was about myself. I was evidently irritated with their defensive responses as they refused to acknowledge my issue labelling it as 'lack of knowledge' (they insinuated). Conversation was almost as if I had TOO much expectations. I was pestered about my irritability which almost sounded like probing for my personal struggles. Nevertheless, the conversation redirected to how my behaviour will never get me match. Not justifying my lash out on them, but the constant dismissal of my complaints got the better of me. I do not wish to continue on this journey & raised several requests to close my a/c & issue a refund, but zilch till now. Waiting for them to contact! I guess, they'll be delaying this, since I requested for a refund. One way or the other, this ordeal has made me cautious about my choices, societal expectations from women, & the regressive mindset associated with marriage. I am begging for a refund! I do not wish to gain sympathy. But just let me off the hook. Salaried people count their pennies. Forcing me to share personal contacts on my profile, the gaslighting "No one's gonna do anything with it" is premium crazy. One or two people found my personal social media profile even after I was cautious about my personal details. Also, after I had hidden my profile, I am still receiving updates that people have shortlisted my profile. It's been more than 48 hours without a resolution or update, and I am still wondering why do I need the CS team's validation if someone will choose me or not?!

​I am a current Premium member, but after today’s call from 925-790-1625 at 7:10 PM EST, I am deeply disappointed. I spoke with a representative who identified as being from the "US Team" (name sounded like Tahir or Tashir).
​Instead of providing value, he used belittling Urdu proverbs and dramatic gestures (clapping for emphasis) to mock my time on the platform. Most alarming was his claim that "VIP Shaadi" uses a completely different database than Premium—a direct contradiction to what I was told when I purchased my current package. When confronted, he simply blamed the "India support team" for lying to me.
​Using a customer's personal search for a partner as leverage to shame them into a upgrade is predatory and unprofessional. Shaadi.com needs to investigate the ethics of its US VIP sales department.

After leaving a bad review they contacted me after many months to know the problem. I mailed them my problem. Days had past but still no response. What a by bunch of fake people. Stay away from this site. It is a waist ot time and money.

They gave me vip membership said we have vip so many girls in our data base to give you for your son, I took vip membership but very first day I came to know that whatever we are looking in shaadi.com girls to accept, same they are suggesting me. If I can see myself than why I need them. In 2 weeks time they gave me contact details for one girl which I could see myself in regular shaadi.com. I am so upset and not satisfied for vip membership

Terrible app and customer service. I paid for a service, but key features and verification didn’t work. Support had me troubleshoot, but their own app blocked screenshots needed to resolve the issue. They refused a refund, so I disputed the charge with my credit card and won after they failed to respond.

I am a VIP member of Shaadi.com. I reported a fake profile about 2.5 months ago and also shared detailed information regarding that profile. However, the only action taken was that the profile was hidden from my view instead of being permanently banned.

If such profiles are not permanently removed even after being reported, it raises serious concerns about the safety of users on the platform. Because of this experience, I would advise others that not to use and trust Shaadi app.

2. They block your access to the website days before your paid subscription expires so that you pay them again for higher levels of service
3. Daily profile recommendations are the same profiles repeated multiple times
4. Pushy salesmanship to buy VIP service

Promises are made to meet your match and taking up expensive membership packages without meeting the person you want to get in touch with non stop screening on your profiles for no reason and no responses to complaints or call backs when asked to get in touch with me!

This is one of the trap that shaadi.com is running. Initially I was told this service which has a one time charge and you are a part of it till you find a partner and the guy sent me the email for the same. Then my account gets activated after the payment and come with a validity of 3 months. Since then I was unable to get through the agent who sold me that. I was alloted a personal profile handler to whom I told the issue and she refused and told that she can deactivate the account but the money wont be refunded. Then she starts working on the profile and finds matches nowhere close to what I mentioned then I got calls from different people asking about the feedback which I did convey about the service and was told that they ll convey and ask the handler to work more closely. Nothing worked well. Then 3 days prior to expiry of the account they called to renew I refused and they said that I should use the second picture as my profile picture and I said that the profile was setup by their handler and she claimed that thats the best way and after 3 months when my account requires renewal you claim that the pictures must be interchanged. I already didnt had much faith for the money being paid but its really a trap and I feel no one should opt for the VIP service as its a waste of money.

I am still in emotional shock due to a bad experience. I one day got a request from a doctor Sarvpreet Singh (orthopedist) innsbruck who was first of all 12+ years older then me and lived in a diffrent City. He was not ready to come to my city (vienna). That bastard asked to bring my diplomas to the meeting. All of my qualifications certificates. He made fun of me with all of his family members of my qualifications! Also i had to Show him and his family covid test(in 2021). I had to show all of my personal documents to them including passport and birth certificates. Just so they could make sure that i was not lying about my date of birth and so on... But whenever we asked anything they would give us abnormal answers like they dont know ect. That shitty person even lied about his work place...which i found out later.In my entire life never met such an insensitive and inhuman being. I literally was a fool to show that son of a b**** my diplomas...i thought i could trust a doctor ...but no one can be trusted in todays world! He literally in his mind thinks he is a VIP person, while no one really knew him. He was not a well known doctor.His mother (Narinder Singh) told me to find a job in their city innsbruck and when i have the job , i could marry her son. His mother always made me look like a fool. She wanted a girl for her son who would also be a doctor probably ..or someone who is highly qualified. But that women did not realised that her son was in his 40ies, bald, ugly and characterless, who was not even able to treat a woman right. She was so rude to me and my mother ..probably because we did not belonged to their cast. She treated us with such disrespect that left my heart broken forever. I had to apologise to this woman for no reason a million time. All of the people really care about qualifications and money only!
I asked that doctor so many times before the meeting if he is ok with my qualifications and cast. He always said it was ok. If he would have told me in the first place that those things matter to him ...i would have never attended that meeting. He made me feel so small about myself and treated me like a piece of shit. First that doctor Savpreet Singh looks for women much younger in age and tells them stories that qualification does not matter to him ..the person matters. It was too good to be true ..he just looks for victims that he can use only for his pleasure. That doctor never wanted to get married he just created a profile to literally seek for victims. First of all girls be ware if you get a request by a doctor/ someone who seems highly qualified...and then tells you that qualifications does not matter to him. Such people care for their status only. This is a trap to get young girl beliving something that would never happen. I literally had so much respect for him
but now i just feel ashamed of myself for ever meeting that shitty person. He had only sexual relationships so far but needed a virgin to marry. That man had double standards only. Even his mother Narinder Singh lied about almost everything..i spent so much money for these meetings but none of that mattered to their family ....i was just a victim for them ...that incident left so my scars in my heart ...i hope never someone has to go to a traumatizing experience like this just to get married

This website scammed me out of $65,000 Canadian dollars after it leaked fraudulent profiles to be live on the site. We will put an end to Anupam Mittal who is responsible for this. The $65,000 Canadian dollars which got frauded due to this site is also the governments money in Canada! I advise local Canadians not to use this website for any purpose! Deactive your accounts before you also get scammed like I did out of $65,000 Canadian dollars!

Worst experience ever. The VIP consultants repeatedly shared irrelevant and inactive profiles with no screening or accountability. There was absolutely no value delivered for the money charged. I was forced to constantly follow up and correct their mistakes, which caused extreme stress, anxiety, and mental trauma. Instead of support during an important life decision, this service only added frustration and emotional distress. Strongly not recommended.

My experience with Shaadi.com VIP services has been deeply disappointing and emotionally draining.
After paying close to ₹30,000 for what was presented as a premium and personalized service, I genuinely hoped for thoughtful support in a very important life decision. Unfortunately, the experience felt more sales-driven than service-oriented. Once the payment was completed, the engagement and seriousness noticeably declined.
While my preferences and criteria were discussed in detail, they were rarely reflected in the matches shared. There was little evidence of careful screening or genuine alignment, which was discouraging and confusing as a customer who trusted the “VIP” promise.
What makes this particularly painful is the imbalance in perspective. For the service provider, it may be a business transaction—but for the customer, it is about life, emotions, and future stability. Experiencing months of delay with minimal progress or proactive communication was extremely disheartening.
The financial aspect adds to the disappointment. This is hard-earned money, an amount that could meaningfully contribute toward a home loan EMI, and naturally one expects responsibility, transparency, and sincere effort in return.
Overall, this experience left me feeling unheard and let down. I believe such services should approach matchmaking with greater empathy, accountability, and respect for the emotional weight involved.
Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Shaadi.com VIP services to anyone expecting attentive, value-driven, and emotionally sensitive support.

I found their registration process and verification absolutely hopeless. Despite providing adequate information and verification they kept repeatedly sending me emails to provide proof . Sorry would not recommend this website I feel they are so scarrred with scammers that they don’t even trust genuine users

This is a total fraud company - especially the vip service with the VIP Shaadi app.
The basic ones ~$100 is probably ok as you will do all the work - even though there are many many fake profiles and 95% profiles do not respond at all (not even reject).

When they call you to sell the VIP Service, they say lot of nice stuff as if the marriage will happen in 3months as "You have a great profile, sir. You are good looking and well established with a green card".

Then you pay - and nothing happens. They send you 2-3 profiles every other day. Even if you accept them all - nothing happens. You will hear excuses like this is an indian number, could not reach the number, getting rejected, and so on. They will change the guy so that you think they are actively trying to make things better but nothing improves.

I paid $600+ for this service and in total I got 3 calls. 2 of them I already talked with them myself before the VIP service guys got hold of her again. 1 rejected my profile on the app (and I told the vip service guy this) but VIP service probably pleaded with them to talk so the mother of the girl talked for 5mins as a formality. Vip Shaadi can take credit for making this call happen, but the girl's side was clearly not interested, and they made it happen just to have a "successful call".
After the service period ended, they wanted to renew it saying - "Oh your profile isnt that good. It's tough to get something for you" But they said the opposite when they sold me this service.

Avoid VIP Shaadi totally.
