I purchased a gift for my nephew from Sensory Toys 4 U. I called up and paid for my order over the phone and arranged for someone else to collect my order. The service I received from Chris was amazing. He was really helpful and quick to respond to emails! Will definitely be returning when I need gifts for my other nieces and nephews, and my own children!

The shop is like a little treasure trove, not braved going with the children yet for fear of coming out with way too many items haha! Went in looking for something in particular for a present and the item I wanted was currently on order but because we live locally, Chris kindly said he would deliver the item by hand when it came in. A few days later it was dropped through our door. Even better was the price was cheaper than other stores and for twice the amount of product in the package too!

Amazing to see a small family run business doing so well and so pleased to have a physical shop selling all these wonderful sensory items rather than having to rely on ordering online all the time.

Will be back to visit again soon...

I ordered the Needoh Nice Cube on 30th Jan and the pre-order date for release initially said the 14th Feb. This date kept changing, granted I understand this is a small company and they experienced a high volume of orders, but even when the Cube was finally registered as available, I still did not receive anything, not even an email to acknowledge I was still waiting. I emailed the company twice to enquire about it and received no response. In the end I had to contact my bank for a refund.
Edit: I received an order update immediately after leaving this review and the shop name is identical (SENsory Toys 4U) and so is the logo so I'm fairly certain this is the same business.

I ordered almost a month ago, stated delivery would be in 3 to 7 days on the website, and only just received items today, after a month. Team didn't reply to any of my emails, and could only get to them through Google chat, they finally responded said they had packed my items, yet took another 2 weeks to ship it.
They also missed one of my items in the package, I only ordered 2 things. Don't order from here and don't gamble on the few good reviews.

Edit: as of July 2025, I still have not recieved the agreed refund from this company, or have any records of transaction with them apart from my initial purchase transaction.
I declined the re delivery because I thought it was an honest mistake, and that the agreed refund amount would have been issued.
But now I have none, not my £3.99 back, or the atomic ball.

Never received items, no response, avoid avoid avoid, exploiting special needs in my eyes.

Update - after this review i received a reply to say they had sent me an email. The email said they processed my refund on 7th March and it will take 5-7 days to go into my bank. Surprise, surprise it hasnt and we are on 9 working days with no reply to my email. A dreadful company. The money is my sons DLA money dating back to January!
Wow, I wish I'd read these reviews before I gave them £314 of my money for a bubble wall. Ordered in January, took 10 working days to arrive and it was scratched, dented and remote/lights didn't work. Chris said he would get his supplier to send another so had to wait another week for that to arrive and that was also scratched, the chrome lid and base was all tarnished, light strip not glued down and water jets poor. Numerous emails back and forth asking for a refund and the 2 units to be collected and despite saying he will give a refund he hasn't done! Apparently they are the UK leading supplier of SEN equipment and his FB page states they understand autism etc and yet they treat their customers like this. We have enough stress at home without dealing with con artists like this. Absolutely shocking and I am so angry that I used this company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Never received my order, impossible to receive a response from them too. disgusting company and having to go to my bank to receive my money back.

Edit: I’ve seen you’re now lying in your response to me, when I ordered the items they said they were in stock, not pre-order or waiting for stock, this is false advertisement. As well as I feel everyone should be aware that this company emailed me after this review demanding I remove it, they’re highly unprofessional.

Joke of a company ordered something for a birthday gift. Still nothing two weeks later asked emails and was meant to be dispatched Monday of last week and guess what still nothing. They says they have a back log of orders and sorting through everything and where so sorry. So I asked for a refund they says I could have one Wednesday and still no refund. Avoid this company they are a joke wish I had of read these reviews before ordering. You shouldn't say 5-7 Woking days if you can't meet targets.

I recently purchased a straw building set for my son’s birthday and didn’t notice the delivery times. I contacted them as I knew it wouldn’t arrive on time for his birthday and got an email back first thing the next morning from a nice man called Chris who shipped it out straight away and it arrived the next day in time for my son’s birthday.

Would not recommend. Product postage states 3-7 days and after 2 weeks still nothing. Eventually got hold via email to cancel the order and they cancelled it but have still NOT refunded me a month later!!

After being done over by sensory education website I was seeking reassurance from sensory toys 4U I messaged him and he was very helpful and reassuring that my item would arrive and that it was in stock
Highly recommended any questions he is happy to help will definitely shop again

I placed an order for an LED Infinity Cube for my son at £210.89 on the 15th July, the confirmation confirming delivery in the standard 3-7 working days. I regulated an update via the customer care email on 6th August and received no response, nor to the WhatsApp option that appears for assistance. I called on the 7th August and was informed by the Director that he’d received a pallet of the cubes in and would despatch by Wednesday, unfortunately this was not true. On the 23rd August I called and was lied to for a second time in so far as the goods had now been sent and that he’d send tracking. No confirmation was sent and as he’d promised and I asked for a refund. No refund was forthcoming and so I have gone through my bank to recover my money. My advice would be to avoid this company.

We went to the unit in hopes of finding sensory toys to make a wonderful sensory area for my little 5 year old. We went in and did not really know what to get. The staff was knowledgeable and completely understanding of our situation and what we was hoping to achieve with these sensory toys. He helped us look through the wonderous amount of sensory toys and many helpful suggestions. We definitely will be back!

A big shout out for Chris the director he came through in the end after months of waiting and no correspondence but he made my child happy he personally contacted me not through email but a phone call to explain the situation and after a long hard chat we left on great terms he is obviously having a tough time too because we all know it’s not easy at the minute to run a successful company but hats off to you Chris and thankyou so much for getting my bubble light the day after our conversation we got there in the end and please anyone wanting a bubble light please purchase this from sensory toys because we all love it as a family

A huge shout out to Chris the lovely director! He swiftly helped me to resolve any issues, his communication with me was fantastic! He has absolutely gone above and beyond to make my little girl who has additional needs the happiest little girl in the world!🥰

I purchased a set of Stapelstein stepping stones in late January on their big sale and wasn’t too surprised when it didn’t arrive until after Easter. They’d been very clear on social media that they’d received an overwhelming number of orders and were having to wait repeatedly for more stock to come in to fulfill them, and this was fine with me. I was unhappy with the complete lack of response to a question I’d emailed them over the three-month wait (starting the day I ordered and then bumped two months later to try and get a response before shipping) but received the shipping notice and crossed my fingers. I was more than a bit disappointed however when the second package with my individually ordered stones turned out to only have one color right out of the three I’d ordered. I emailed immediately and again, no response. I waited a week then tried contacting them through Instagram as others had said that was more effective. I received an immediate response despite it being the middle of the night their time and they were able to successfully and solicitously resolve my issue. It did take an extra week over what they told me but a replacement product was sent and arrived quickly and in good shape. I’m very happy with the product and the price and appreciate the way they made it right once they received my communication. I feel for them with the situation they were in and all the nastiness they received but do feel communication could have been a lot better. Still, family businesses have it hard and I’m sure they did their best. I would buy from again if they had something I needed but would communicate via Instagram before trying email. The product itself is awesome and so much fun for my kiddo. Thank you guys!

Numerous emails sent, no replies, sent broken or wrong items. None of the customer telephone numbers actually work, complete scam of a company. Should have checked trust pilot first…

DO NOT USE!!!!!! I ordered a bubble and fibre optic stand £300 1st April 3-7 day delivery and still waiting ! No communication what so ever , tried calling every day various times and extensions , nothing !! Email came back saying they are doing a stock take ( takes nearly 2 weeks ) apparently and will update me 28th , guess what 28th has passed Still no delivery or communication, poor poor poor !!! For a sen company they really don’t understand the urgency of things , and lack of time to keep chasing for what you have paid for!!! Get your act together stop selling things you don’t have and answer ppl when they expect orders it’s not hard !

Why are they charging taxes on top of their advertised price? It’s a Uk company shipping to the Uk and selling to the general public!
