This was our second trip with Scenic. the first time was Black sea to Budapest. This trip was the next stage from Budapest to Regensburg. The boat was very comfortable. May be the best on the river. Staff excellent and food very good considering how limited the space is to work in. Excursions are also good with a very memorable concert at the Arsenal in Vienna. But the boat felt too crowded and there was too much pressure on shared spaces. Also we could not complete the last leg because river was too low. The contingency planning for this was inadequate for something that must happen quite often if we were affected in June. Also though no fault of Scenic this stretch of the Danube felt very crowded and some visitor sites on the way were overwhelmed with river cruisers.

Just returned from 11 day Rhone river cruise. First the positives - superb crew with amazing attention to detail.
Second the negatives - the frequent double docking where your balcony cabin view is looking into another ships cabins is not what you expect for a 'luxury' cruise.
The 'penny pinching' when bath robes are removed from cabins on Day 10 is silly and annoying.
Day 11 was a bit of a joke. Had to vacate cabins latest 08.30hrs, but breakfast only served until 08.30hrs was especially thoughtless.
Would we book again? Not sure, as the negative aspects tended to spoilt what could have been excellent cruise. Value for money - not in my opinion.

The variety of tours was excellent and the quality too of a high standard. We have no hesitation in recommending Scenic.

We found the cruise disappointing. The staff were all lovely, polite and helpful, the room was kept clean and tidy and it was well organized. The food was good. The guides were all excellent. However pictures in the brochure were misleading. We only "cruised" for one afternoon where we could see the scenery we mostly travelled at night. Our cabin was also above the engine room and the bed actually shook at night. We thought we were booking an up market luxury cruise but it honestly felt more like a holiday camp. The photo in the brochure shows a couple at a table with space all around being served by a waiter. We were all crammed into the dining area with so little space you could hardly walk between the tables.

Whole experience was great. Boat, staff, food, excursions. We felt looked after and enjoyed everything.

There is almost nothing that we didn't like about our recent river cruise "Gems of the Danube" That said, before we joined our ship we had a ridiculously long wait for transport to the boat from Munich Airport. This needs to be addressed as we were only one of three couples impacted by this uncharacteristic lack of customer care pre cruise

This was our second trip on Scenic because we were so impressed with the first cruise down to Budapest in 2024 but disappointed that their Cruise from Budapest to Bucharest did not meet the same standard.

The crew on board are fantastic, to find people with personalities and are willing to make people's cruises something they will never forget, we loved them all.

We had a wonderful time in the South of France. Fabulous food and lovely, thoughtful excursions. Very friendly and helpful staff. They couldn't do enough for us too.

Lovely ship and crew, excellent cruise director. Only little disappointment was not starting cruise in Regensburg due to low water. This meant a lot of coach travel

We had the most fantastic river cruise with Scenic on the Scenic Jade, Danube and Rhine. Everything was so enjoyable, great food and drink, Scenic staff so good and organised tours to wonderful places. Lovely company on board and nightlife. We booked through Panache travel.

This was our first Scenic River Cruise and was chosen because of the ports visited throughout the 10 day itinerary in the Bordeaux region of France. The whole experience from beginning to end was fabulous. All the staff were friendly and by the end of the cruise we got to know some of them quite well-especially those bringing food and drinks! This river cruise was a truly all inclusive experience. The tours programme was comprehensive and informative and there were good choices available for each port. Meals were varied and great quality. We booked the holiday to include flights but in hindsight we would have chosen different options if we had booked flights ourselves, but that in no way reflects on our overall enjoyment of the cruise.

The people working on the boat were obviously a team wanting to give you the best possible experience. The cruise was well organised and the food was superb.

A great trip with a variety of included experiences. The organisation in Japan was excellent and the booking process worked well.

The staff were absolutely fantastic, smiles all round and led beautifully.

Very attentive staff who cannot do enough for you and who anticipate your needs and wishes.
