This company to start with fill you with fake promises and make it sound like they are going to go above and beyond for you and the car you’re buying. I pointed out a few things to start with that I asked to be sorted before I purchased the car. They did paint both front and rear bumpers however when I asked about the chipped windscreen they said. I need to go through the insurance and they will reimburse the cost. (WHICH IS INSURANCE FRAUD).
I have then had problems with the car (knocking from the drivers side wheel and a big hole in the air conditioning unit. The clutch has then began to slip) I have sent numerous email the first email was replied too then all contact has stopped. I have sent images of the problems. I have since had to pay for all of the above work sorting myself despite the warranty (THE WARRANTY IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER ITS WRITTEN ON). Do not buy a vehicle from this company absolutely disgusting aftercare service. The vehicle was not fit for purpose and has since cost me an awful lot of money to sort. I will be taking this matter further!! Furthermore on the MOT the vehicle failed and I was told that all major and advisory problems are sorted! This was also not the case when I took it for a pre MOT check. They had changed the brakes however there was still an oil leak coming from the car. Genuinely this company is robbing people of their hard earned money during a cost of living crisis! I have given the company 2 months to respond and sort out the problems however I’ve had nothing.

Not the best car buying experience I've had despite SCC going out of their way to fix problems with the car I purchased from them.

In June 2022 I purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee from SCC for £15k. Despite it having no service history I trusted the reputation SCC have for selling quality used vehicles, as well as past experience with them having bought previously from them with no problems whatsoever. Clearly however, as has been proven, I was wrong to trust their reputation again as this current car has been nothing but problems from day one.!

In the last two months since buying my car from SCC it has spent more time with them in their workshop being fixed than it has with me! During which time SCC provided me with a courtesy car but that aside, it should never have left their workshop in the first place with so many problems. On return, eventually, after they fixed the problems, I identified yet more issues with the car. All these issues, past and present should really have been identified and fixed prior to me taking delivery of it in the first place and not left for me to sort out at considerable inconvenience when I should be left to enjoy my new purchase safe in the knowledge that as a reputable and trusted used car reseller, their pre delivery checks were impeccable and left no stone unturned. It seemed to me after only a few days of ownership this was not indeed the case and their pre delivery checks were very much lacking.

In most respects my dealing with SCC were good and the majority of their staff are polite and courteous and went out of their way to be helpful, but there are certain individuals who I found to be condescending and to some extent patronising.

Additionally I found their drivers have no respect for your vehicle and in my case left discarded rubbish in my car when they returned it and had helped themselves to my iPhone charger.

Then to be told when I raised these issues with SCC that in their opinion they felt there was no room for improvement in the service they offer, I am left speechless. Clearly being disrespectful and stealing from customers cars is acceptable then?!

Thankfully I no longer have the car in question as there were simply too many issues with it that SCC agreed to buy it back at the full price I paid.

I have bought from SCC previously and that experience was very good. This time round however I feel they have let their standards slip and are not now one of the first places I would look when I come to buy another car.

Buyer beware to ask for the service history and if there is none, I suggest you walk away as you simply don't know what you're buying and with no history to check it's very likely, like me, the car you end up with will have serious problems.

Perhaps it was just unfortunate luck on my part to have bought a car from them with so many issues that has now tarnished my opinion of SCC, but I firmly believe if you put yourselves out there as a supplier of quality used vehicles then at least make sure the cars you sell are at least that and fit for purpose and not as in my case, a constant problem with issue after issue.

Anyone can sell you a car. It’s how a company deals with things when it goes a bit wrong.

Daniel and the team were excellent at dealing with the problems with my vehicle.
They have a very professional attitude. The promises and timescales made to correct issues were on time and to the letter.

I would be very happy buying another vehicle from them.

I purchased a top end car back at the end of April and the Customer service was spot on, it was honest and straight down the line, however the real credit that I think is key to all other people thinking about purchasing a car through Sarah Cox Cars is that I experienced a couple issues shortly after, this is where I prepared myself to what i believed would be your normal cars sales approach “we are not bothered anymore element….”

This was far from the case they took full ownership from the off soon as I brought the issues to their attention.

In life things can go wrong - but its how they are dealt with, this is where you see quality businesses from the backstreet ones.

I don’t usually write reviews, but often read them before purchasing a product or service. I found a car I was looking for being advertised by Sarah Cox Cars and from my initial online enquiry via their website, to now (the day after I’ve driven the car home), I have nothing but positive feedback about these guys. Daniel is an absolute star, worked with me to make up the numbers on my part ex and even text me the day after the sale to check I got home ok and was happy with the car. Based on my experience, I would without hesitation recommend Sarah Cox Cars. Take it from a sceptic. Thank you guys!

I purchased a used Fiat Panda 4x4 for my elderly grandparents from Sarah Cox Cars in late 2020. They handled the shipping of the car to Orkney and were very helpful throughout the sale.
After a short while, it became apparent that there was an issue with the battery draining- caused by a faulty "blue and me" module- that couldn't be easily had during covid times in their remote parts.
15 months later, the work has finally been done, and Sarah Cox Cars has reimbursed the full cost without a quibble- in spite of the increased sum and time elapsed. I should also say that despite this problem, the car has been faultless otherwise.
An excellent service- and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sarah Cox Cars to anyone.

Would recommend this garage to anyone. Their customer service is excellent, both before and after sale. I bought an X5 from them at the end of last year. Within the first couple of days of driving it, I noticed a couple of niggly issues and contacted the garage. They quickly arranged return for it to be repaired under the warranty without any quibbles. Daniel and his team are so helpful and friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a car from them again in the future.

I’ll start with the short and sweet AVOID THIS GARAGE UNDER EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE!!! What an experience, I purchased a car as a part ex and the car was cursed they sold me the car on the day with corroded brake discs and pads, yes I’ll agree I should have checked, so a day in my brakes where causing a harsh squeeking sound even when not braking took them to my local garage got a quote of £2000 then the day after the whole computer system MMI went down causing no power phones the garage they said that’s weird will get that sorted along with the brakes taking 2 weeks off the road and finally got the car back and was parked up for 3 weeks without use as was away came back and on my way home the drive shaft snapped, this is where it all began got a rude owner “mark cox” (please scan through the rest of reviews bad ones and you’ll see the name a few times) according to his past he’s raced cars for a living and knows that drive shafts don’t just snap it’s caused from abuse and I know from my experience and people in the trade that it’s just another component that comes down to wear and tear could give in at any point and on the phone call explaining what has happened he said well I want to look into further investigation as to why this has happened and if it is down to abuse he will not be happy, so first month into owning the car it spent 31 days in total In and out of garages looked under the consumer rights act.2015 and because it had reaccuring problems and all the time spent in garages I was intitled to what is called my final right to reject I sent his this and the answer I got back was I’m not willing to take the car back but what I can do is sell the car for you and with the car being what it is i know that could have been months meaning months without a car I told him my legal rights and the answer I got back was we will go down the court route and sort it then but that could take months on end. Being £25,000 that could take upto 12 months and that’s 12 months without the money and without a car which I could not do so after so much stress and worrying I can not wait so I’ve sold the car on my behalf taking a massive LOSS so if you’ve read the far into this review please don’t make the same mistake I did and see a car you love but with rubbish customer service when the going gets hard I would much rather buy a cheap car and have an amazing customer service than the experience I have AVOID THIS GARAGE

To be honest I don't leave reviews for anything! but feel I need to for the quality of service I received.It was first class from start to finish.I stay in Scotland and my car was delivered to my door and my part exchange taken away(which they gave me a much better price for than anyotne els). Great experience was well informed every step of the way by Nathan who still answered all my questions even on his idays off!Would highly recommend and will be the first place I will be looking when I need a new car.

Daniel was great from the telephone call, to the showroom, to the closing. Friendly team, COVID safe and a great experience buying a car from them. I travelled from Hampshire so a 390 mile round trip, but the car was brilliant, as advertised and as told to me. Lovely drive home last night and would happily buy from them again. I sold my electric Renault Twizzy to this dealer in October 2020. Part of the requirements for owning the electric Twizzy is leasing of the battery.

I got Sarah Cox Cars to complete and sign the battery lease transfer form. This was sent back to Renault by myself but this company have refused to complete the confirmation of transfer. This is despite several calls and emails from myself and Renault financing.

To make things worse they have now sold the car on, while I have been left with the recurring cost of paying for a battery in a car I no longer own. Terrible, terrible business. Dishonest and unprofessional, under no circumstances should you trust or deal with this business. They market themselves as a Renault Twizzy “specliast”. Save yourself the hassle and cost and go elsewhere. I have had to instigate a breach of contract legal action to reclaim my recurring lost money. Stay well clear. Sarah Cox Cars are not to be trusted.

I financed a polo 2008 from them, the car was great and Dan did his best to ensure it was affordable and clean for me. They are a great team.

Great car dealer! First time i bought a car from this company and i have nothing but good things to say about them. Daniel was more than helpfull with the whole process and was a very chilled experience from placing a deposit to picking up the car.
