I contacted Samsung repair services…

I contacted Samsung repair services because my washing machine has a 10-year warranty, and the softener dispenser wasn’t working—it wouldn’t dispense any softener during the wash cycle. I first reached out to them sometime in 2023, using the contact number on the washing machine.

The initial response wasn’t bad; they asked me to do a drum clean and call them back if that didn’t help. I already knew it wouldn’t work because I’d thoroughly cleaned everything, including every drawer, before I called. After the drum clean didn’t fix the issue, I called them back, and they told me to restart the machine, do a wash, and call again. I did as instructed, but it still didn’t work.

Next, they advised me to set the softener dosage to the highest level, do another wash, and call back. I followed those instructions as well, but, once again, it didn’t solve the problem. After a series of repeated calls, endless questions, and instructions that went nowhere, I eventually gave up, feeling that the process was never-ending.

In 2024, I decided to try again. This time, I was firmer and explained that I’d already completed every troubleshooting step they suggested. While I still had to go through a few of the motions, I was finally able to get a technician to come to my house. When they arrived, it took only about 20 minutes to replace the pump for the softener. The technician was very polite, professional, and efficient, and thankfully, I didn’t have to pay anything.

If it hadn’t been for the difficult start, I would have rated Samsung five stars. Now I understand why they have low customer reviews—it’s a shame because they make quality products. But whoever designed that lengthy list of steps to go through before sending a technician really needs to reconsider the process.

I will not be buying another Samsung…

I will not be buying another Samsung product. I have now discovered that unless I sign a t&c agreement for the phone I bought six months ago, they can keep bugging me at all hours of the night, and I can't switch it off. In addition, it says that if I don't sign it, they will discontinue service on my phone, and my phone will essentially be unworkable. When I buy a product, I do not want the company to have my personal information. Nor do I want to have to sign away my rights, etc. I will never buy from Samsung again. It is a really shitty company.

Discrimination against me for haven a…

Discrimination against me for haven a large family as companies get 10 free laptops if they buy 10 phone I bought 4 phones that Three said come with a Samsung laptop I contacted Samsung only then does it say 2 per house hold so I claimed 2 laptops 1 tablet and 1 watch as it gave me the options to do that Samsung declined the tablet saying 2 per household but I did only order 2 laptops it doesn't say anywhere only 2 items it says 2 laptops

NEVER NEVER buy off this brand they are an absolute disgrace to their customers!!!! I purchased a flip 5 in the US told the samsung rep I was from Ireland he assured me no problem anything that may go wrong contact Samsung customer support. Had the phone less then 3 months and the screen where the hinge is to fold it has started to burn out and the screen is now flickering. Contacted them was told I purchased it in the US and my warranty is VOID is Europe.. I was recently in london a few months later after the screen has got worse the person in the samsung store on oxford street told me there is now worldwide warrenty as its now a recognised MANUFACTURING FAULT with the phone so i rang again and they told me they didnt know what the man in the oxford street shop was talking about this is not the case so at this point i asked could I courier the phone back to the US they don't offer this service or won't accept a private courier delivering it!! THEY WANT ME TO FLY BACK TO THE US TO GET IT FIXED!!!! Long story short no one working for this company has their story straight or a solution.. stick with Apple lads they offer worldwide warranty!! An expensive lesson learnt 1300 euros down the drain.. SAMSUNG DO BETTER!!

Bought a brand new S24 in their website…

Bought a brand new S24 in their website and they offer you 150 euros back. I filled up the form for my claim, submitted, claim was accepted and I'd get the 150 euros back in 45 days. It has been 2 months now and the last update was on 23/09 saying that it is taking longer than usual (yes, I've noticed!). I have contacted them through the website and nothing!
Unbelievable how companies take so long when they have to pay us but we don't have a luxury to delay the payment 1 day!
It is totally disrespectful and I won't stop till I get my claim paid!

Ruggine lavatrice

Ho acquistato una lavatrice, dopo un anno e mezzo si presenta ruggine sotto la vaschetta del detersivo, faccio notare che il detersivo lo mettiamo nel cestello, mi è stato detto che è colpa dell’umidità nell’ambiente, faccio ulteriormente notare che la lavatrice che avevo prima di marca bosch dopo 22 anni non aveva un filo di ruggine, e l asciugatrice che è nella stessa stanza nessun problema, e comunque per prevenire ho un deumidificatore che va h24, e tira fuori 20 litri di acqua ogni due mesi. Ho controllato la struttura, cioè la cassa , non è zincata non ha nessuna protezione, e non costa poco…. Colpa mia??????

Sent my watch back to Samsung for repair they lost it in transit by sending it to the wrong address and won’t refund me or replace it or reply to my emails or calls
Issue has been going on since July still no answer from them other then them supply wrong address and saying go try find it

Samsung washing machine. Don't be fooled by the sticker on the machine "10 year warranty" machine malfunction after 2 years. 10 calls to Samsung over 3 month period but keep getting fobbed off with excuses as to why they haven't sent out engineer. Atrocious service, steer clear.

Samsung poor after sales service

I purchased a Samsung Washing Machine from Curry.ie in Febuary of this year. I loved the machine and found it did exactly as I expected for the money I had paid for it and was true to the product description I had read prior to my purchase.

My problem arose when 4 months later, I noticed water on the floor following the wash and saw that the door seal was torn.
Then followed a series of emails to Currys and to Samsung regarding this issue. They both claimed it was not covered by warrenty as it was a perishable part of the machine and as such subject to wear and tear. I have been washing clothes for forty years and have never seen this happen after 4 months.
A search online brought me to Samsung Community web page where I discovered many people had this issue. There was pictures of washing machines with exactly the same problem I had. It would seem that the quality of Samsung door seals is not up to standard.
The cost of the repair would be 145 Euro parts and labour. If I was to do this every 4 months I may as well cut my losses and buy a new machine now.
All this was pointed out to both Samsung and Currys but they both still insist it is not covered by warrenty.

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. I bought a tv in dec 2021. It sat down during the euros and refused to budge. I got in touch with Samsung and they got someone to ring me. I duly did as requested and sent it for repair. 297 eu lighter it has come back. It was an open cell issue which means the screen was no good. It appears that Samsung outsource the screen and many have had to be repaired including mine. The screen should be gauranteed for five years. Alas after numerous headaches emails and phone calls customer service in Samsung refuse to pay ANYTHING towards good will and even tough they acknowledge outsourcing they refuse to still pay towards my tv
TV cost me 649 plus 297 and with no guarantees the screen will not go again they still refuse to pay anything towards the cost of repair. I think Samsung can in future keep their televisions and I highly recommend that nobody purchase one. Imagine the cost of buying a tv from them when it is only guaranteed for 2 years. Biggest lesson learned but costly to learn to avoid Samsung the plague

Bought a 4 pack of Samsung SmartTag2

Bought a 4 pack of Samsung SmartTag2, really bad product as it only works with a Samsung phone! this is 2024, it is a standardized product where other company's can make such tags work with all android phones.
What will be next, that only Samsung phones can/will detect these tags and report their location?

Never ANY Samsung product again.

Bought a 65 inch tv for 570 euro. 3 years and one week to the day I bought it the screen broke. Planned obsolescence if you ask me. I will never buy a samsung tv again. And I will advise all to do the same.

Samsung Soundbar HW-Q700C intermittent subwoofer connect failure

Bought Samsung Soundbar HW-Q700C from Harvey Norman Airside Swords in April 24. Subwoffer would regularly fail to connect. Going through the process of an ID-SET frequently was a pain. Took it back to Harvey Norman’s 3 times and each time …of course the ID-SET worked. Eventually got Samsung support to see the issue through a video conference of a sort, and after about 5 calls their agent came and took the soundbar away. Now I have no useful sound as my Samsung tv sound is pretty bad. Samsung agent has my soundbar which was taken without replacement for repair. The agent will give no assurance other than they expect 5-10 days for repair. Samsung have so far failed to make a statement, which I could use with HARVEY NORMAN to replace or refund the soundbar. So no money, useless warranty, and no prospect soon of decent sound, and not even the defective soundbar.

Samsung support were hard to understand as the Indian subcontinental accent was difficult for me. They also were unable to give me any assurances, or written support. I was assured that I would receive a complaint/call referrence number, by text, but Erica has failed so far to send me same, so I could follow up

Helpful

Technical support was precise and helpful regarding a problem with a family member's phone. Hopefully it will resolve a glitch which seem to be a problem on their smartphones

Samsung have worst customer service ever.

Samsung appliance back up are an absolute shambles from start to finish, and we had to repair our problem ourselves. Samsung are completely incapable of any customer service level at all. We have a 4 door Samsung fridge freezer that won’t freeze. They sent a sub contracted service agent to us who was borderline useless and completely incompetent. Samsung then offered us €50 for the bother of having to put up with him. When we spoke with Samsungs helpline, 3 times, they never once were able to follow up with any coherent ability to repair the problem. An absolute shower of completely incredibly incompetent service people. Total and utter amateurs. We have ended up paying a separate service company to repair the freezer. Normally in that situation I would ask for some offer of financial contribution from the manufacturer but my brain couldn’t possibly listen to their unprofessional inability to converse on a normal level. Stay as far away as you possibly can from a Samsung fridge freezer. Useless.
