Samsung wasmachine en droogkast
Ik heb net meer dan een jaar geleden een wasmachine en droogkast gekocht van Samsung. Na net meer dan een jaar zijn beide defect gegaan. Voor beide 2 x rond de 409. € betaald voor herstelling. Na 1 maand was wasmachine weer lek en dit vermeld aan Samsung. Zij laten mij weten dat ik niet binnen de garantietermijn iets heb laten weten. Nu moet ik weer kosten betalen om terug te laten herstellen. Ongeoefend dat zij dit aanrekenen terwijl ik dit gemeld had binnen de maand na verstelling. Zij geven geen oplossen en willen mij terug kosten laten betalen!!!!
Koop geen Samsung toestellen want kwaliteit is niet goed en service is beneden alle pijl.
Samsung reneges on the promise to replace a machine.
I have had numerous issues with a Samsung washing machine I purchased from the start.. Aside from the Electrics it is not an exaggeration to say that nearly every other part of the machine has been repaired or replaced over 4 years... Autodoser tray day 1, door seal fell off, full Drum replacement, bushings, springs and hoses. The 2nd last callout required replacement of the Autodoser tray again and hoses as the machine shook so violently that they cracked the tray and broke the hose which resulted in multiple leaks. I spoke to the High Support Team that time & was promised a replacement without question should I have any additional issue following that repair & I was given a case number to reference. But now that the machine has leaked and starting to make noises again I am only able to access people over the phone who quote the "Terms & Conditions" of my 5 year warrantee for repair only...& the only exception is if the Engineer says its unrepairable. He has told me he can repair everything. Nobody will put me through to the High Support Team or they no longer exist? I have less than 6 months on my warrantee & Samsung are leaving me high & dry after 4 years of issues with a "Not fit for Purpose Washing Machine" I will never purchase a Samsung product again.
Refused support
The support agent I talked to today just refused to help, when asked to put me on to the correct team he mentioned he is just going to hang up. Samsung is flat out just refusing support.
Samsung Ireland - Shocking service, waste of time warranty
Samsung Ireland – Far from a premium product and premium service and a waste of time warranty.
It’s been over a month since our Samsung washing machine broke down. After weeks of calls, and failed repairs, it’s still sitting here — a useless, expensive appliance that simply doesn’t work. Meanwhile, we’re spending money and additional wasted time at the laundrette and wasting hours and hours and hours of our time trying to get this resolved with Samsung – all for a product still under warranty!!!
Samsung positions itself as a high-end brand with a commitment to customer satisfaction, but our experience has been anything but. It’s shocking to have a customer wait for so long, with no light in sight for a working machine or even a response from Samsung. We’ve tried contacting them for a resolution via emails, phone calls, social media, tech support ..and our Samsung in-warranty washing machine continues to sit here broken and useless. Their warranty is obviously as useless as Samsung’s so called customer service.

Yes pity we can do zero stars! Atrocious service as usual from Samsung customer service! My fridge freezer which I spent a lot of money on is not working properly? It’s still under warrenty. I have spent time on their webchat. Phoned a repairman who told me I needed to go through the Samsung website to book a repair. Phoned again a few times, left hanging on for SO long. Managed to report the fault online but have had NO confirmation email to say they are coming so really am none the wiser? Rang again this morning and finally got through and guess what - yep all their technicians were busy but assured theywill definitely ring me back! No call back? This is NOT customer service! Have thrown all my freezer food away now! No idea how long I will be waiting for somebody to ring back! Terrible terrible service. Seems like they just want to sell their products and not look after customers afterwards!

I recently traded a phone with these for a new model. They use macroev. I got an email from their trade in partner saying I had to pay €116 because I forgot to take the pin lock off the device I traded in. Stating if I didn't pay it they would lock my new phone remotely. This is unfair as a simple call or email to ask for the unlock code is a bit steep. I wouldn't have minded paying something because it was my mistake but €116 is very much sticking the boot it. It was a Samsung phone I traded and they should know the unlock code if the are taking trade ins on behalf of Samsung.

I can't fault Samsung Ireland . Recently purchased my phone directly from them ,quick delivery from DPD who are by far the best courier in Ireland .
Received my free gifts again delivered by DPD a few days later .
Will never buy my Samsung products from a middle man store again .
'Awesome' Experience
I don't know what all these negative reviews are all about. Maybe I was just very fortunate this time and I might not be next time, but for now, based on my experience, I feel like 5 stars is not enough to rate. This deserves at least 10 stars.
So, I ordered the new galaxy A56 that just came out. Later that same day, they informed me that they had already handed it to DPD for next day delivery (depends on the time of day you make the order.) I have never had such a quick online shopping experience, it usually takes most retailers a day or 2 (bar amazon prime) to dispatch items.
As part of their promotion program, I was able to fill out a claim after recieving the phone and now, it has been approved and I am due to recieve free accessories from them. If you are looking for a samsung product, I cannot stress enough how highly I recommend this website. Thank you, Samsung Ireland!

Never ever will I buy Samsung again. Currently own 3 Samsung TV,s and always a Samsung phone.
Had an issue with an S95C TV. Contacted Samsung online support and even after sending them videos of my issue as proof they wanted nothing to do with it. Said my TV was fine. Horrible vibration from the speakers and TV had the black screen of death when in gaming mode. They even REFUSED to send out an engineer. Nothing but stress did their online support cause.
TV was only 14 months old. Nevertheless that I am protected by a 2 year EU LEGAL GUARANTEE but I also signed up to their 5 year extended warranty.
I contacted the place of purchase and they themselves sent an engineer to fix the issue which is the same company that Samsung refused to contact.
Samsung. Shame on you!
Don’t buy/trust Samsung
We purchased a Samsung Jet85 vacuum for over €350. The dust container broke after only 2 months. The plastic is incredibly weak and it cracked at a point where it connects to the vacuum.
The customer service staff have no ability to help and are left reading a lazy script telling you that you won’t receive any support. My heart goes out their team that have to deal with unsatisfied customers. I’m astounded Samsung has any sort of reputation after experiencing the quality of their product coupled with their non existent customer service.

I ordered the S25 on the 28th of January 2025 paid for it, On the 30th received an email saying the order was cancelled as I choose the wrong phone as a trade in and that my money would be transferred back to my account within 5 working days. Today is the 11th of February and no refund. I like Samsung but as far as processing refunds dreadful. Someone in there needs to answer for this sloppy treatment. I should have ordered it from my network provider. Looking at the reviews on Trustpilot should ring alarm bells for you.

Other people who preordered this phone received theirs but mine did not.
After reaching out to their support they informed me i must wait for another delivery of phones although i could just walk into any phone shop and buy it now that its released. After asking if i can swap colour i was informed all colours are out of stock but when i checked the website it mentions it can ship now.
Why would i preorder a phone and have to wait over a month for a restock? How is that a preorder.

Not as reliable as Apple
Bought Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 from their official website. Less than 4 months of use the phone’s inner display is gone. Contacted Samsung support to get it repaired. It took a week to get my phone back and during this time had no phone to use. After hours of chat and calls with their customer support agents, am able to return the device and get my refund back. Never ever gonna switch to Samsung from Apple.

Good service, my phone was repaired free of charge under warranty. Fast turn-around, it took just two days for the repair.
Samsung Cashback
Like others have mentioned beware of Samsung's cashback offers.
I puchased an SSD that was covered in their December cashback offer terms but the claim was subsequently rejected.
As a long time purchaser of Samsung's electronic hardware I will no longer purchase anything from them. It's the only way to make these companies experience consquences for their actions.
Beware of Cashback Promotions – Disgraceful Customer Service
Be very careful of their cashback promotions. We bought a new TV from them, and they failed to pay us the promised cashback. We provided all of the information they asked for in a timely manner. We followed up with their promotions team after 1 year of waiting, and they said they had made a mistake on their end but then refused to pay out because the promotion had ended.
Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from such a large brand. There was no good faith or ownership of their mistake at all; they just hid behind their legal terms and said their decision was final. Their handling of this issue demonstrates a shocking lack of care for their customers.
This experience has completely destroyed my trust in the brand. If you value reliable customer service and a company that stands behind its promises, look elsewhere. Samsung has just lost a loyal customer, and I will never recommend them again.
Samsung put customer experience last
In 2022 I moved countries and was a happy LG customer previously.
As everything had to be purchased anew because of the move, I purchased Samsung for the panel quality and advertised ability to have split-screen input.
I purchased a 43", a 60", and a 70". All three following the simple formula of best model range less one level.
Also purchased matching Samsung Smart phones, Sound Bars, and Home Theatre kits - basically all in on Samsung's eco-system.
The display panels are amazing, but that is as good the return on investment gets.
The split-screen feature is poorly documented/advertised and not actually useful, it only allows input connections to be split (physical inputs from an external device and no smart inputs/apps on any input).
The native TV speakers are marred by tweaks made by regular updates to the equalizer (done during the firmware updates) with peak volume constantly favoring loud action scenes and almost inaudible dialogue regardless of what you set in the equalizer.
Switching audio output to the home theatre HDMI arc reveals a disappointing continuation of issues, the rear speakers are so faint, there is no sense of any audio immersion and playing a surround test video shows that the rear audio is whisper quiet even when on maximum rear-speaker volume.
The TVs and smartphones all constantly market some junk offering.
On the TV, this is done as a small tile that has to be traversed past to get to any input not saved as a favorite.
On the Smartphones, every software update pops up a post update screen with special offers and this is where it becomes very unethical - because even if you de-select the offered apps (normally Tetris, Candy Crush Saga, and Block Blast) it will still proceed to install them.
These installs are not performed through the Google Play or Galaxy App stores, as they do not show as installed there. Instead they are side loaded directly into android.
Unwarranted sideloading installations of additional software is basically the same practice used by malware and the fact it is done in this manner means it is not following the stricter guidelines of the App Store versions.
In summary, Samsung as a brand has destroyed any trust I have in anything they make.
I purchased a 4th TV for the guest bedroom, a cheapest plus one level up 43" LG TV and while the panel is nowhere near the same quality, it is clear and the sound is great. It does have advertisements by default, but I could turn them off from some settings.
I also chose to avoid a Samsung Android Tablet for the same reasons and got a Lenovo P11. This device is not perfect and has its quirks, but it works well.
Having taken the first steps away from Samsung, and not wanting to repurchase everything, I have begun adding Firestick 4K devices for the smart functionality. This has worked out well and is a testament to how badly Samsung has lost their way, the Amazon devices are notorious for being heavily weighted towards marketing but they still manage to do better than their Tizen counterparts.
Samsung, as a company you have broken my trust in you and are now dead to me.

I bought a new Samsung S24 FE on the 14/10/24 with a promotion for a free Tab A9+. The advert ran till end of Oct 2024.
I registered the phone and subscribed for the promotion few days later on the 19th or 20th.
I sent all the documets they requested, but later received an email that they cannot go further with the application because some infos are not there or not clear. Then they sent another email that I should contact them as there was no barcode.
I found it all very strange and I thought what foolishness or what is this? I tried again to go into their system via the link they sent me as it would dectivate by 4th Nov. Every time I tried since I received their emails, the screen would always go off. I could not get into their system to forward any document again
I found a contact phone number starting with 02, I decided to call.
I spoke to a lady who told me to go to the "about phone" screen on my Handset and send a photo. I asked her to what number should I send the photo? She said the Whatsapp number. I asked what is the number? She said the number I called from. I told her its a fixed line number starting with 02, she said yes thats the number. I said I never heard you could send a Whatsapp message via a fixed line numer. She said yes you can.
I did, and as I expected nothing happened. Message was not sent.
I went back on Google and use their online form and sent a message, I got a reply that they could not attend to the message, I would have to send via their Whatsapp. I found a mobile number ending 6835 referring to Whatsapp. So I sent the screen Page, "About Phone" as requested by the lady to that number.
Whatsapp returned with a prompt, "NOT SENT"
I felt why do these companies treat their clients this way? Thats why Apple stands way Ahead with their customer services.
I see why its easier to go Apple instead of Samsung. I was beginning to encourage friends to get Samsung. I am very disappointed by this poor service. I need them to do as promised asap!

I contacted Samsung repair services because my washing machine has a 10-year warranty, and the softener dispenser wasn’t working—it wouldn’t dispense any softener during the wash cycle. I first reached out to them sometime in 2023, using the contact number on the washing machine.
The initial response wasn’t bad; they asked me to do a drum clean and call them back if that didn’t help. I already knew it wouldn’t work because I’d thoroughly cleaned everything, including every drawer, before I called. After the drum clean didn’t fix the issue, I called them back, and they told me to restart the machine, do a wash, and call again. I did as instructed, but it still didn’t work.
Next, they advised me to set the softener dosage to the highest level, do another wash, and call back. I followed those instructions as well, but, once again, it didn’t solve the problem. After a series of repeated calls, endless questions, and instructions that went nowhere, I eventually gave up, feeling that the process was never-ending.
In 2024, I decided to try again. This time, I was firmer and explained that I’d already completed every troubleshooting step they suggested. While I still had to go through a few of the motions, I was finally able to get a technician to come to my house. When they arrived, it took only about 20 minutes to replace the pump for the softener. The technician was very polite, professional, and efficient, and thankfully, I didn’t have to pay anything.
If it hadn’t been for the difficult start, I would have rated Samsung five stars. Now I understand why they have low customer reviews—it’s a shame because they make quality products. But whoever designed that lengthy list of steps to go through before sending a technician really needs to reconsider the process.
