I cannot explain enough how incompetent and unprofessional this company is. It’s literally like no one works there and the communication just don’t link up. First trying to get someone to help design something is a joke. And I put an order in and needed to ad something for weeks they say I’m getting an email to verify change an and nothing. I called and the lady literally argued with me and told me I must have been emailing the wrong company…. Wtf! But ya sure charged me $1600!!!!! Do not use this company they are idiots!

I purchased a vanity from here and I love it in my remodeled bathroom. Shipping was fast and it was easy to assemble although I'm fairly handy from a DIY standpoint

These cabinets shipped faster than anything else we ordered for the room. We were extremely impressed by the quality of the finish, dovetail joints, and soft-close drawers.
We used these to create built-ins in one of our bedrooms and are planning on ordering again for future projects. Highly recommend.

Buyer beware! Do not order from this company, they have terrible customer service. I have two damaged cabinets and instead of sending me the replacement parts for the cabinets, they want me to purchase a new cabinet at 50% price. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. The damage happened in shipping you can clearly see it is from where the straps were too tight on the box. I will definitely use a different company for my next cabinet purchase.

The cabinets are not as high of quality as they would like you to believe. Yes the cabinets are made of plywood. I would argue that the plywood is made of balsa wood, it is not very sturdy. I ordered the Timber Toffee cabinets, which are a stained cabinet. The veneer is tissue paper thin, and easily flakes off. I ordered $20k of cabinets for a new home build, and am extremely disappointed in the cabinets. I do not recommend. Do not make the same costly mistake I made.

TLDR: 22k worth of assembled cabinets. Poor customer service that never calls back forcing you to constantly follow up. They offered an insulting refund of only $250 (not even the cost of 1 cabinet) when contractor fees and time easily quadrupled that. Endless amount of time required over the phone to rectify issues and time removed from work/life to be available for deliveries. Save your time, effort and money and purchase elsewhere.

I purchased 22k worth of cabinets. Design process was lengthy, but everything seemed to work out. Only thing distasteful was the upsell and the pressure to purchase immediately. They do not offer solutions to high end wants, such as panel ready refrigerators, or any high end cabinet inserts.

Assembly and delivery happened quite fast. However, I was not told that I would be the one responsible for unloading the entire 6 pallets of cabinets myself until after I had purchased the product. The delivery company they contracted with placed 1 pallet in my garage, and the other 5 pallets on my driveway - I had to hire help to unload the pallets and bring them into my garage. This is extra cost and time to consider.

1st delivery: only 3 cabinets that were not functioning correctly, 3 missing items. Easy enough reporting system requiring photos and descriptions. The new cabinets and items were quickly approved and sent out.

2nd delivery: I would expect better care and better quality control seeing as these were replacements. However, the replacement 3 cabinets were still not functioning correctly, and 1 was incorrectly replaced. 2/3 of the missing items were sent. I filled out the reporting system with required photos and descriptions and called customer service to discuss the cabinets thoroughly.

Customer service - sub par. They initially did not understand the problem with the cabinet that was sent, and told me they would call back with a solution - no call back. I want to say there was a lot of back and forth, but it was mostly me calling for updates regarding the order and potential refund - day after day. I tried emails, but those were ignored. If I wanted answers and progress, I had to call in. They reassured me the other items in my order would be handled, but after calling again to verify and get a confirmation email, it seemed like that was not the case.

Now, I am waiting on my 3rd delivery. Construction will be delayed for about 3 weeks. I am being charged by my contractor for some time, but more importantly, I am out of my home during this time. This is a huge inconvenience, and quite disappointing that charges a premium for assembled cabinets. They have offered $250 for my inconvenience. I would rather warn others about ordering from this company than accept a 1% refund.

Addendum:
After placing my review on 8/7/25, I received an e-mail from Mike Catini, the customer success manager, to discuss things. We agreed on 8/11 at 1:00 p.m. Mike called me at 1:42 p.m., further exemplifying the company’s wonderful customer service and respect for their customers. During our conversation, he did not apologize for the inconvenience, or the money wasted on this product so far. Further, it was evident that he did not do much to research my complaint. He had little knowledge of my issues, or the reasons for my dissatisfaction. The conversation ended with him saying that he would make sure that my order was correct with his associate. Again, there was no apology or acknowledgement of these significant inconveniences.

To this date, my review has not been posted on their website, which I find suspicous and quite dishonest. I would save your time, effort and money and purchase elsewhere.

Cabinets were nice and most were assembled properly but I had to design the kitchen entirely myself. The free designers were useless and mathematically challenged giving no heed to actual dimensions of the room. Customer service was sketchy, sloppy and incomplete with a different service person each time and few call backs. Kitchen came out nice at a reduced cost but it's definitely a do it yourself job. Only had to rehang one cabinet door.

Ordered three white sample doors for a coffee bar in the corner of my kitchen. Wide selection and checkout was a breeze. The samples arrived quickly. Once I had them in hand, it was evident which style I want to go with. So excited to work with their in-house design team and finalize my order.

I was 8 months pregnant and needed my kitchen cabinets fast. I had great customer service from the beginning with my designer. My cabinets were shipped in 3 days and my husband even installed them! Thank you RTA cabinet store for a great expery!

The cabinets are designed poorly forcing you to deal with crumbling parts and customer service always kicks the can down the road saying they will get back to you and never do. They try to make money in charging extra shipping fees and in the end don't help you.

Instructions and videos are horrible. Perhaps it is more geared toward tradesman. I'm a lightly handy homeowner and I've built lots of flat pack furniture and this was the worst experience I have ever had. Chinese made (with photo only instructions...) are better with better final results than this. I wish I would have just purchased the crap home depot pieces, which is a disappointment level I haven't experienced previously. I also feel like their shipping promises are a bit of a bait and switch. They "ship" in 3 days, but it takes 3-4 weeks to actually arrive. No parts lists, no labels, no printed instructions. I'd never but anything from this company again.

Prices are not what they seem. I wrote down the online prices. When I went to order the online prices didn't match what their discount was. A 4200.00 project was now 7200.00! Then I was given a discount of 35% then it was 6200.00! Avoid at all costs!

They have some work to do.

1. Cabinets do not include assembly instructions instead you have to download Bilt and look up instructions there.
2. Bilt instructions don't match the materials you're given.
3. Their how-to videos are just as bad
4. If you're handy enough you can figure it out, just look at ALL the bilt instructions some might contain info on how to work with certains materials
5. Customer service is terrible, they get easily flustered. I was missing 2 cabinets from my original order and also had to file a claim for a missing piece. While they are good at communicating ship dates and times, their UI (website) is confusing in that a request for missing parts just shows up as a different order even when it's not even processed. Customer rep got upset because I got confused.
6. That's it so far. I don't think I'll order from them again, the lack of communication and no instructions is just terrible.

Overall I was able to build the cabinets though, so there's that.

I wouldn’t recommend working with them because they will accuse you of causing or being the problem if an issue arises. I called to see why my order had been cancelled and the rep told me it was bc of my credit card. When I told her no that couldn’t be bc I seen the charge on my credit card she put me on hold and came back saying that I need to check my emails more bc I was sent an email telling me that what I ordered had been discontinued therefore it was cancelled. And that would have been just fine of an explanation but she was rude with attitude and said then saying that I shouldn’t be calling accusing you guys of stuff. I didn’t accuse anyone of anything. I asked simply why my order had been canceled because that’s what it stated on my online account and she said well you accused us of canceling your order and then I asked well that is what happened and I just wanted to know why. And the reps name was Sasha. She is so incredibly rude for no reason at all. That was so unprofessional and uncalled for when I as a customer just called to ask what happened to my order.

Don't buy from them. Nothing but trouble from the day the delivery showed up. We were not notified of a delivery and it sat outside for 3 days, thank goodness it didn't rain. Called RTA when from the start we could see damaged pieces and boxes wuth nothing in them. They said "you signed for them" and emailed me a copy. Delivery guy wasn't even smart enough to sign my name correctly.
Now that we are ready to install I call with a question, how do you secure the end cap of a cabinet, 3 people later and they have no good answer for me. I just laughed and hung up. Won't go down this road again with our other houses.

Order arrived with half missing and other parts damaged. They said file a claim. Well their claim form just asks about entire units missing and in some cases we have pieces and in other cases entire units. So there is no way to use their claim form. Asked for a refund. They wanted a 20% restocking fee. Waited 8 weeks to get these and now have to cancel the contractor I hired to help me install. Will never use these guys again.
