Recently had the pleasure of having Rob as a DM.

My forever DM friends’ wife arranged a surprise 6-Hour D&D session for him to play in.
Rob showed up promptly, was extremely friendly a gave us all a brilliant experience.
Running for 8 players is *not* easy, but Rob took it in his stride and made sure everyone shared the spotlight and got to try out just about anything they want to.
If you’re reading this: much respect Rob, and thank you once again.

I think you gave my friend a thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Bonus Points for not complaining when we put you in the situation of having two NPCs talk to each other! Haha!

Overall it was a really great experience for everyone involved. Our DM Rob, had a mix of everything that makes for a great D&D game and also made sure to interact with everyone throughout the session so no one felt left out!

We had an amazing time with Richard as our DM! While the rest of our party were experienced players, my partner & I were total beginners. Richard took the time to explain to us anything we didn't understand & put us at ease whilst role-playing as our characters. The amount of detail that was put into everything was outstanding & we can't wait to continue with the story!

I contacted Rolldark to arrange a surprise DnD game for my husbands birthday, who is a big lover for DnD but usually is the DM himself for a local club and doesn't get the chance to play as often as he'd like.
I know very little about this game, however Rob was very patient and explained everything to me through the process of organising.
On the day of the event my husband was thrilled and enjoyed the 6 hour game with his friends. When he came home he spoke about how great it was, the attention to detail and how friendly Rob was.
I also received texts from the other players who all have experience of different levels with dnd about how much fun they had.
I would 100% recommend

From the initial setting-up up to completion of the adventure, our DM Rob was entertaining and well prepared for the adventuring shenanigans that ensued from our group. Rob was accommodating and understanding when some of the group had to dive out due to real life and kept us enthralled with the story/adventure he ran for us. Thoroughly recommend Rob as a great DM.

We spent 3 hours with JC who patiently guided 12 beginner D&D players through 'Secrets of the Darkstar'. So much to learn but JC managed to ensure we all participated and we started to get the hang of it before the end. Organised for a work virtual team building event as the team are located all over the world. The Forge-vtt and Google Meet worked well with some minor connectivity issues. Thank you JC for your energy and enthusiasm.

We are a group of semi-regular DnD players and we decided we would hire a professional DM to host a game for us to start off one of the players stag parties.

We were put in touch with Richard who is one of the DMs for the Midlands region I believe and he did a tremendous job. From start to finish, including all the prep before the start of the game Richard was engaging, accommodating of incorporating some of our ideas into the game, and communicated well at all times.

On game day his professionalism was very clear, he created a wonderful atmosphere and was superb at pacing the game given a slot of about 3.5 hours.

The time absolutely flew by and discussing it with all of the other players during the rest of the day, all absolutely loved the experience. it was worth every penny and I'll definitely be recommending this experience to others/doing this again! Thank you Richard! A solid 5 stars for you sir!

We recently used Rolldark to hire a DM for a stag do, from the outset the communication with the company was great, they hooked us up with Jordan who was without a shadow of a doubt, incredible.

He helped organise and book a venue and wrote a great story for us to go through. He was funny and knowledgeable about the game and helped us to have a memorable night, we shall all remember the moment I was thrown through the head of a wyvern

The service by Rolldark was amazing from start to finish. From the moment I contacted them, Robert was swift in replies and gathered all the information from us and arranged our booking instantly. He also answered all the questions I had with easy to understand answers that my friends who never played before could understand!

Then we got into touch with our assigned DM Chris. Chris was amazing all throughout, working with us to come up with an adventure suited for new and old players alike, and even providing pre-made characters for the new guys!

During the play, he was an amazing DM that gave us a lot of freedom of choice and even put up with our shenanigans. The new players learned a lot from him and as a storyteller and voice after, he was absolutely amazing! Being able to change his voice and accent on the fly was very impressive and made the whole story feel very immersive.

Thanks to the whole team at Rolldark and we will definitely be using their services again in the future!

This is my second campaign with rolldark and I for one am really enjoying it. I had the same DM for both campaigns (Jordan) and all in all have found the world he is creating imaginative and fun and I look forward to continuing. It’s good value for money and accessible to all.

Had an excellent adventure in 'Chronicles of Erin' with GM Jordan C. I was really impressed with the worldbuilding, and how he interwove that with the mission. The NPCs were also nicely distinct characters, and Jordan was very entertaining and kept us engaged throughout, as well as helping us integrate as a (mostly) new party to each other. I liked the balance of straight roleplaying and combat. Only complaint is how long to the next story arc! ;-) (holidays) Looking forward to it. Recommended!

What a great game from start to end. Jordan Carmicheal was a great DM not only delivering a great game and experience but also very good at thinking on his feet to adapt to what we as a party did.

It'd been several years since I played a TTPRG, and 25 years since I played D&D. I now remember why I loved and missed it so much. Our party is a few sessions into a JC-run campaign and it has been an absolute blast.

The online platform is easy to use and deceptively clever, and the story has been great. We asked for horror, mystery and roleplay, and that's what we're getting. The amazing JC weaves it all together with humour, patience and a deliciously scary cast of NPCs.

The actual game aside, I am hugely impressed with Rolldark as a company. The professionalism of the service and responsiveness of the team (cheers, Rob!) has made hiring them quick and painless.

As someone who has always played table top games and built the miniatures that go along with it, the story telling and role playing was always the next step for me, just took wayyyy to long to do it! But I’m glad I waited, JC at RollDark has been amazing and a great DM.
JC created a fully immersive experience and has been a patient teacher as he introduced the game to us. Our party was a mix of player abilities and JC did a fantastic job handling the various queries whilst keeping the story moving and the fantastic character acting going!
Can’t thank JC at RollDark enough, it was just the disconnect I need for a few hours a week and I got to make a new Tiefling friend along the way.

Alex was amazing, we had so much fun with the birthday session and would definitely hire with Roll Dark again. Was very welcoming to new players and skilled for the experienced players!!

Alex white was an excellent host - he catered to a complete group of novices with the utmost level of professionalism. We had the best time and are all eager to book our next session. A wonderfully enthusiastic and creative dungeon master!

We recently had a fantastic time playing Bladerunner - Electric Dreams from Rolldark. Our GM Mike was superb, a true professional, he made everyone feel welcome and it’s wasn’t long before we were hunting down replicants on the atmospheric streets of neo-noir Los Angeles. Supported by excellent soundscaping and great voice acting our party took part in interesting investigations, exciting action sequences and experienced all the moral ambiguity we know and love from the classic films. Another winner from the Rolldark team!

GM Mike Dack has changed the face of Tabletop Roleplay forever! RollDark earned its name providing games of DnD 5e, but Mike's decision to branch out to other systems, and deliver them so beautifully, is why TTRPG is one of the best pursuits out there.

We are introduced (through the offer of a three-part one-shot) to the world of Blade Runner; set between the events of the two films, in the midst of a new and rich story involving the murder of a Blade Runner, and the introduction of three new Detectives in the form of us, as players.

Immediately Mike's grasp of tone, depth, and a lived-in texture make it obvious that this story is going to be fun regardless of what we do with it. He masterfully creates and performs characters within the world, all familiar and equally exceptional, and brings to life the details we gave him for our character's backstories. Mike gave each of us plentiful chance to bring our mark to the world, and shape the story with him; a quality of GM'ing I wish more people fostered.

There were moments of emotion, chaos, excitement, mystery, and where needed, perfectly crafted encounters of both dialogue and combat.

I was incredibly blessed also with players I connected with, but I believe firmly that if you want the best introduction to TTRPG and indeed RollDark, Mike is ya' man.

A lot of work must have gone into creating this and so sadly it may be a while until I return to the streets of L.A. But rest assured I will be campaigning to both Mike, and RollDark's Rob, to have this story continued once again.

"It's too bad the one-shot won't live! But then again, what does?"
