Chris was fantastic! I had some petty different ideas and story line, he tailored the game perfectly with all my suggestions and madness for a stag party. He was a great DND master and controlled the game well, really fun experience for a bunch of newbies. Would recommend!

Rob was our DM for a recent celebration in Warwickshire and he was fantastic! His characters and voices were amazing and we really got into the role playing aspect. Combat was well paced, challenging and rewarding. Rob also went above and beyond for the group and I couldn’t speak more highly of himself and Rolldark. We will definitely be using them again for more events. Thanks again!

Rob was an excellent DM. We hired him as a surprise for a stag do and he did not disappoint! Rob made sure that he understood what was wanted and immediately got everyone engaging and was able to weave fantastic storytelling and the perfect blend of role play, action and humour into our one shot. We all had an absolutely excellent time.

Tommy was an amazing DM. We were so impressed with the pacing of the story, the twists and turns in the plot. Just when I thought there can't be any more to discover, something else happened. The horror was built up perfectly with the pacing and the sleight of hand of the DM making things happen on screen before we'd even realised. The use of sound was spot on - it was part of the story and the atmosphere - more than simple background music or ambience. The story was brilliant, perfectly tailored to our group. Tommy's voices, narration, characters were all really good. The story kept us invested. Although at first our characters split to investigate different rooms, when it wasn't my turn to speak I was still completely hooked and invested in what the other players were discovering. £40 a head for 4 hours of thrilling storytelling and entertainment was such good value for money. We'd definitely love to come back again.

Chris put together an amazing quest for my friends stag party. So much fun. Highly recommend.

Our group of mostly beginners played a one-shot with Jack, and he did not disappoint.

He is very knowledgeable, getting us up to speed and starting our campaign in no time. He was also incredibly accommodating of all of our choices and chaotic actions, citing the 'rule of cool' and just letting us have our fun. And the showmanship! He had prepared atmospheric backing tracks for the various locations and would put on entertaining voices for every character. I am impressed with how engaging and fun he made the campaign for us.

I am looking forward to playing more campaigns run by Jack in the future!

We had a wonderful and immersive experience for our first ever game of D&D with DM Richard. He guided our large family group, including a few chaotic kids, through a very entertaining game, patiently explaining the rules and the story in a way that was fun and engaging.
In the run up to the game he went above and beyond to help us create characters and story themes. His communication over WhatsApp has been excellent, checking in on our preferences and making sure that the story didn’t stray into territory that we might find uncomfortable.
I would fully recommend Richard again, thanks for a great game!

Richard was an absolutely fantastic Dungeon Master and made our session unforgettable. We were a mixed group of complete beginners, ranging in age from adults to kids, and he handled it brilliantly from start to finish.

What really stood out was how inclusive and patient he was. He made sure everyone understood what was happening, took the time to answer the many questions that naturally come from first-time players, and made every single person feel like their character and ideas mattered. The kids in particular were completely drawn into the story, and Richard treated their curiosity and enthusiasm with genuine interest, which made them feel really involved in the adventure.

One moment that perfectly summed up his thoughtfulness was when he brought along a spare familiar for one of the kids who hadn’t got one for their character. It was such a small but meaningful touch that made the experience even more magical for them.

The whole session was engaging, welcoming, and a huge amount of fun for everyone. By the end we were all talking about how much we’d enjoyed it and how we wanted to play again soon. If you’re looking for a Dungeon Master who can guide beginners, include younger players, and create a genuinely memorable experience, Richard is absolutely the person you want running your game.

Dm was amazing, kind, supportive and really cool. The game was amazing, along with the room we played in. Overall a 15/10 experience.

We had a private one-shot ran by DM James Burrows, and the entire experience was excellent. James was friendly, professional and really tailored the gameplay to everyone at the table. Everyone had a brilliant time, and we will certainly be using James for a game in the future!

We ordered a pro D&D session for Xmas and James was our chosen DM. I have to say it was an absolute pleasure and joy to have him guide us as the DM. He was very good to engage with and he was professional from start to finish. He allowed us to create our own characters and ran the game like how a DM should. The commitment from this DM is extremely impressive, he drove all the way from Cambridge (on his day off mind), to South Manchester. Only just to drive back again after (which is 4 hours either way) I must say that level of commitment from this guy is just incredible. Thank you for an awesome game James and please keep going and continue playing and DMing. Highly recommend James as a DM and no doubt we’ll have him back in the future for more 1 shots.

Matt has been guiding our party through his masterfully crafted home brew adventure for a year now. Every session has been incredible, and we're always left with uncontained excitement for the next session.

He has a limitless imagination and an agile mind, weaving compelling story with ease. He is extremely easy to communicate with. Patient and helpful, he incorporates requests with ease.

Jack was a great DM for our board game group. We’re first time players, and Jack made it seamless for us to understand and play DnD. We had so much fun — especially because of Jack’s great acting skills! Thank you so much.

Critical Roll!

A short, 5hr campaign led by James was brilliant. Would highly recommend!

Had a wonderful three days of intensive DnD with Damien DMing. He prepared a very cool cyberpunk themed module on short notice, including a fun hacking minigame to go along with the standard DnD gameplay.

Was very friendly and enthusiastic througout, would highly recommend!

Tommy DMd for four experienced players as a birthday gift for my ever DM husband. Followed the brief for what we wanted closely, kept us to time, allowed us to play our characters and made us all laugh. Thoroughly recommend Tommy as a DM/GM.

Let me tell you all a story...due to unforeseen circumstances Damien had only a few days notice to come up with three whole days of face to face DnD content, several hours travel from his house. It was incredible. He came up with a cyber punk Vs DnD hybrid campaign that was unexpected and vivid. He inhabited the characters and the storyline, it was challenging and indepth, funny and gripping, the three days flew by. It was great to see him having as much fun as us, his passion for what he does shining through. This is my third time using rolldark; and each time is better than the last. If you are in the Northwest I could not recommend Damien more highly, and would encourage you to have your sessions face to face so as to get full benifit of his experience.

I would also like to mention Rob and how quickly he reminded the situation over the weekend when he had to find a replacement at short notice.

Lastly; for those of us who have busy lives and are unable to play DnD more than a few times a year, I would just like to thank Rolldark for (quite literally) bringing the magic alive.

The Neon Knights will ride again!

We had an AMAZING experience with Damien Hallwood as our DM. He was brought in last minute because our original DM wasn't able to make it, but did an absolutely fantastic job despite the lack of time. We had an amazing time playing 3 full days of in-person D&D back to back. I would HIGHLY recommend Damien as your DM. The group is already making plans to do this again. Thank you so much for making our friends 40th birthday extra awesome! We'll be in touch when the Neon Knights are ready to ride again!

Amazing sesh with Jack! Would definitely recommend for groups who are new to the game and want to give a try. It was a super immersive experience as the world and characters were beautifully described and portrayed by our DM Jack. Be careful, it's so good you'll most likely be hooked and want more seshs soon!

Jack was a brilliant dungeon master and created such an engaging and exiting game for us.
