Chris is a great DM, who can help experienced players and new players enjoy a joint session of DnD pretty seamlessly. All through an internet browser, it makes it really accessible so you can find out what all the hype is about.

Rolldark dm’d a one shot for my stag do. He provided an incredible experience in his home brew world. If you’re looking for someone to run a one shot for you and a group of friends he’s your guy.

Had a whale of a time with GM Tommy. I got my partner a one-shot for her birthday alongside the rest of our usual party. Tommy led an in-depth pre-session chat where we were able to chat about our expectations.

We asked for a horror game and ended up playing comedy (as we usually would) and he still made it work.

Just played Witcher: The Pale Bride with Mike and had an absolute blast! This is my fourth game with Mike, and his ability to present well written and compelling stories is unmatched!

Fun time great dm great campaign and great players worth the time not much to say don’t really leave reviews but this one was worth it to write seriously worth it

We played a 3 part Witcher story With GM Mike. It was a very well thought out story with a great atmosphere. Wish we had more sessions like this!

The Knights, Helga and the Great Wizard Garmin are all still reeling from the successful mission to banish the Creeping Rot, and what a mission it was.

We cannot recommend Rolldark enough, and particularly to our fabulous GM Jordan for making a 30th Birthday celebration so amazing, and producing a great campaign for us to enjoy. From the initial enquiry right through to the post session laughs, we have enjoyed each step of the process and couldn't have chosen a better person to host the evening.

We will definately be using your services again.

My friends organised a weekend away for my stag do, and as part of that we played a surprise D&D game for the day. Jimmy was incredibly friendly and professional, and ran such an amazing game for us. He'd put lots of time into making it a very personal game to me, bringing in elements from my life as part of the game. He'd worked with my friends to prepare characters for me and them, and prepped them all a bit on the game. I had so much fun, it made the whole weekend truly unforgettable. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Jimmy or other DMs from Rolldark again!

Having recently finished the Candela Obscura two-shot adventure "Dressed to Kill", run by Rolldark GM Mike Dack, and I cannot speak highly enough about the experience. Despite it being everyone's first time playing the system, Mike made the whole thing a breeze and we were all able to pick up the system with relative ease. After walking us through the system, Mike was able to skillfully immerse us into the world of Candela Obscura through his style of storytelling, combined with his use of music, and managed to keep us on the edge of our seats throughout. The highlight of the whole experience for me was how Mike managed to cultivate such an atmosphere in-game, that the simple act of walking down a hallway seemed like an almost insurmountable task, and very much put us on edge.

Once again, both GM Mike and Rolldark have delivered an incredible experience that I highly recommend!

Have just completed the two shot Candella Obscura adventure Dressed to Kill run by Rolldark Games Master Michael Dack. I cannot praise this experience enough. Although we were all new to the system GM Mike made it very straightforward to learn providing significant support and guidance prior to, between and during the sessions. GM Mike has a very relaxed style in GMing and really encourages engaged and immersive roleplay supporting player ideas and developments without letting plot become derailed. Through imaginative use of music and Roll20 tools GM Mike skilfully builds atmosphere and his not insignificant roll playing significantly add to this.
The TTRRPG world is increadibly diverse and expansive and although a fan of D&D5e it was refreshing to have the opportunity to experience a new and different system. While D&D5e is flexible enough to allow different genres such as horror to be played this experience demonstrated that it doesn't do this as well as systems designed for these genres and I strongly encourage Rolldark to provide the opportunity for a wider range of games to build up customer base and loyalty. Top marks to GM Mike and Rolldark.

GM Mike (Mike Dack) ran a wonderful couple of sessions of Candela Obscura. His setting, tension building and dramatic prose and improvisation made me feel I was in a living, breathing world, with danger and menace at every turn. I unfortunately cannot continue the sessions, but this would be an excellent introduction to the TTRPG world for a beginner in a easy to learn system grounded by real world experience, and you could not ask for a better lightkeeper than Mike to illuminate your journey.

Face hosted a game at our house for my 14 year old son’s birthday. He and his friends had a brilliant day, playing for 4 hours. Face is a fantastic Dungeon Master, very engaging, creative and great at role playing characters. His puzzles were also brilliant.

He took the time to ensure the characters were right beforehand and was very supportive to a new player.

Would massively recommend.

I recently attended Rolldark's "Become a Professional Game Master" course, which was a great day of pragmatic and useful advice for DMs starting out on their journey running games professionally, amongst other people on the same path. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone pondering if their could turn their passion into a professional skill.

Really, really enjoyable evening! Most of us hadn't played before and we had an absolute blast. It was a well-paced and engaging session, superbly DMed by Robyn. Thanks for a wonderful time :)

Great way to spend an evening! He even managed to keep the 13 & 16 year old engaged! Simple and helpful planning and excellent execution on the night. Highly recommend

We hired Rolldark to host a D&D session for nine 11-year-old kids for my son's birthday. Chris was an excellent DM, managing to keep them all immersed for a good 3.5 hours and making sure everyone got involved. The kids all had a great time.

We are just closing out a year-long campaign through Avernus, reffed by the amazing Damien. It's been an amazing experience, with players patching in from holidays across the world to ensure they don't miss a session. Damien has great system awareness, characterisation for NPCs (Lulu, Mad Maggie, Crickendolt and lots, lots more), and always focused on making sure his players feel comfortable, engaged and have a great time. I've looked forward to Mondays! 10/10, please do more!

Just started playing rolldark games recently, both VtM and Odyssey of the Dragonlords, both reffed by GM Mike. I’ve found it really enjoyable, with great rp from fellow players, difficult but balanced combat, as well as great lore and descriptions. I couldn’t recommend this more for anyone who enjoys role playing games, from beginners to the most experienced RollDark is an excellent game service!

Reading the reviews it is sometimes easy to forget that while Rolldarks main goal is to provide a fantastic gaming experience for the players, it is also a service built for the professional DM's who run these games.

I've been working with Rob and running games through Rolldark for over a year now. Rob has always been exceptionally helpful and professional and has allowed me the opportunity to run some phenomenal games in the last year and I'm looking forward to further opportunities in the future.

My friends and I booked a D&D Session for my brothers stag do and Rob, who was the GM (Game Master) for the session, was brilliant. We were a mix of experienced players and complete newbies to the game and the TTRPG (Table Top Role Playing Game) space, and Rob managed to cater for us all whilst making us howl with laughter throughout the night. His talents as a voice actor had us immersed in the story and love the characters he brought to life, and his skills as a GM were more then enough to handle the varied and chaotic situations that we as a party created through our session. Overall I could not rate Rob or Rolldark high enough for delivering on a promise of a fun, entertaining evening with my friends, as well as a great introduction into the fun of TTRPGS. Thanks for your help throwing such as successful Stag Do!
