Terrible Service

The ACCC needs to stop this company…

The ACCC needs to shut this company down.

They're junk - qulaity is absolutely appalling.
Their brand story is a crock - Jude doesn't exist and didn't design a case for diddly. They're drop shipped straight out of China via a warehouse in Perth.
Their 50% is a scam. They were never full price.
They do not accept returns despite saying "if for any reason you're unhappy, we'll take the case back, no questions asked".
They don't reply to emails. Ever.

Order two 28check silver case from Riigid on the 12/4/26 DPD delivered one case I have video evidence showing this spoken DPD they said that they was only given one case for delivery, Riigid have evidence there customer support Gemma contacted DPD and still there will not fulfill their order
Going to go to court to see if I can get my money back absolutely rubbish company will never order anything again

I wasn’t going to write but I’m getting…

I wasn’t going to write but I’m getting annoyed by their customer service or lack of. One month in and one trip and dividers are sowed in bad. They snapped and I asked for new ones and they sent me clips which was not the problem. I had to pay more money to get the dividers re-sowed. Same month second trip wheel went bad and makes the loudest noise with every eye looking at me. It’s now June 2026 and still no wheels. A couple emails apologizing and they “made it a priority” but no wheels the trunk is the one I got which might be even more expensive but seems they don’t care about their products or customers. I may have to truly go Rimowa. I should have spent the extra money instead of wasting it trying to save now I’m paying triple.

Extremely Poor Customer Care/Response

First of all, 1-star is too generous! I ordered two cases, a 29” and a 20”. I received the 29” only to realize that I ordered the wrong cases. It took several exhausting emails and continuous attempts by Aeron (whom BTW, I’m sure is Ai) to get me to keep the original purchased case tempting me with discounts. He eventually and reluctantly finally sent me a return label. I sent the bag back and also sent an email with proof of the bag being dropped of at a FedEx Center. Several days later after I had tracking confirmation that the case had been received, Aeron once again requested confirmation of return. Hmmm! I sent it once again. Now here I am 4 weeks after the initial order and I still don’t have either of my purchased cases. The 20” was stated as “back-ordered” and stated to ship May15. Ten days later and I still have no update or response to my queries. It’s been over a week and now and I am be “gaslit” by Aeron and Riigid. At this point, I am now going to file a complaint with my credit card company requesting my monies back. Be cautious of doing business with this retailer.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. You order and you never receive the suitcase. I ordered mine 5months ago. They sent me a tracking nr. However, that number never showed any tracking. It does not exist. I asked for a refund which I still have not received. BEWARE!! this is total scam.

They send you used suitcase!

I received one of the two suitcases I ordered yesterday, and I’m extremely disappointed with the condition it arrived in. Although it was sold as brand new on the website, the suitcase I received was clearly used. It is covered in marks, still has glue residue from a previous airline tag on the handle, and even the packaging had the previous buyer’s shipping label as well as their return label attached.
Selling used luggage as new is completely unacceptable and highly misleading. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution others before purchasing from this company.

As an existing customer of Riigid I…

As an existing customer of Riigid I ordered and paid for another piece of luggage - Vacuum Compression Backpack After several months it has still not arrived. I have had a string or emails with their Customer Services Department who express apologies and say they are investigating and will solve the problem and despatch my order.
Weeks later I still have not received my luggage order. I have given up on the sham company.
I will not buy from this rogue business again and suggest that nobody else does!

RIIGID Suitcases quality gaslighting - no refund

After weeks of avoiding this company, I finally caved and ordered a case for my wife’s 29‑hour trip across the world. When it arrived, I actually felt relieved — the packaging looked solid, everything seemed promising.

Then I took the suitcase out and saw the dents. Not tiny marks — dents. On a brand‑new, not‑cheap case. Completely unacceptable. And since a replacement wouldn’t arrive before her trip, I immediately requested a full refund.

That was almost five weeks ago. Five weeks of excuses, delays, gaslighting and being asked to provide photos twice and being dragged around in circles. At this point, I’m done. I won’t buy from this company again, and honestly, the experience has soured online shopping for me altogether — something I’ve trusted for years.

So congratulations, RIIGID. You didn’t just lose a customer; you managed to wipe out my confidence in online retailers entirely.

One flight and this "premium" bag has structural deformation. Customer service has spent a month gaslighting me, calling deep gouges "normal wear and tear."
I could have bought a $50 bag from China for better quality. Their "lifetime warranty" is a joke. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Warranty Not Honored – Incorrect Replacement and Serious Safety Concern

I purchased two aluminum suitcases from Rigid: one 28-inch and one 20-inch, both marketed with a lifetime warranty.

On the very first trip, the 28-inch suitcase was severely damaged. The damage was not minor, it was significant enough that a sharp edge from the broken structure cut my finger and caused bleeding. This raises serious concerns about product durability and safety.

I followed their warranty process properly, provided full documentation, and returned the damaged 28-inch unit as requested.

Since then, the situation has been handled extremely poorly.

Rigid is now claiming that I returned a 20-inch suitcase instead of the 28-inch. This is incorrect. The original 20-inch suitcase has never left my possession.

To make matters worse, they sent me another 20-inch suitcase as a “replacement,” which is not what was returned and does not resolve the issue. I now have two 20-inch suitcases:
• One original (used, never damaged)
• One new (still sealed in the box they sent)

This clearly contradicts their claim, yet they continue to repeat it without providing any supporting proof such as warehouse intake records, serial numbers, or photographic evidence.

At this stage, this is no longer a simple error, it is a failure to honor a warranty and a lack of accountability.

If this matter is not resolved with the correct 28-inch replacement, I will proceed with:
• Filing complaints with consumer protection authorities
• Initiating a chargeback
• Reporting this experience across multiple review platforms

Buyers should be aware: a “lifetime warranty” has little value if it is not honored when it matters, especially when safety is involved.

Similar to others - Avoid

Similar to others, thought I’d give a smaller company a go - turned into an absolute nightmare, took about 3 months to get my money back, delay after delay, I cancelled after it missed the delivery for the trip I needed, felt like fraud, I even filed a fraud claim with the bank before they eventually gave me my money back and it took 27 emails to sort with replies at random times throughout the day. I’d avoid and spend a bit more and go elsewhere. Everything seems to go through “customer support” and back through the “owner” to get approval. I’ve reported them to trading standards in the UK. I’m not one for trying to harm small business but they’ve tried to wear me down more than any other company ever has. Even getting a refund from Ryanair was easier than this ordeal.
