Really disappointed
I’m really appalled - we bought a 6-month subscription as a Christmas present for my mother in law, and were assured that the first box would be delivered in the first day of January, and by the 12th at the latest. It is now February and the box still hasn’t been delivered and the tracking number provided by the team still says a delivery hasn’t even been attempted. I’ve contacted them a few times and have been told to wait longer before they can try to send a new one. I’m really disappointed - this was a Christmas present and we were counting on it arriving the first days of Jan ☹️ I liked the sound of the subscription but with this terrible customer service (and actually inexistent service for us so far!) I definitely won’t be getting any anymore. And it’s quite expensive too - you’d expect a little more care for the customer...

Bought a subscription for a present for a friend, chased to see where it was as from the FAQs it states “We send boxes in the first week of each month (to arrive by roughly the 12th), so you’ve got ages to read, review and discuss your book!” I had a response with a tracking number (encouraging I thought). As per current RM guidelines, we will need to wait 15 working days after the dispatch date before they will declare it lost, so if this hasn't arrived by Friday 3rd Feb please let us know so we can send a replacement.
So it’s a not a trackable item, and by the response are they expecting it not to arrive? Well it’s nearly the 3rd so we will see.

Really embarrassing as it was a present for a friend and she probably thought I hadn’t bothered. To that end I have ordered from another company and hey presto it’s out for delivery. Such a shame I wasted my money. I have fingers crossed that the others do arrive and my friend will be pleasantly surprised but I don’t hold out much hope.
Great me time box - love my subscription
I’ve been ordering reposed since the start of lockdown, I’ve never had an issue and find their boxes are really nice put together - I look forward to it each month.
Some of the reviews on here state it would be cheaper to buy a paperback and snack.. maybe... but I don’t find it expensive at all and I thoroughly enjoy looking forward to that little bit of me time that the box gives me.
When there have been delivery issues (only happened once and it was a company wide statement) they were really apologetic and actually mine still turned up on time.
I had to jump on here and write a review because it’s so disheartening to see some negative reviews because I thoroughly enjoy the box!!
Gorgeous content let down by delivery delays!
I’m really sad to write this review, as I hate leaving negative reviews on small businesses however I hope this will be taken constructively by reposed and can be used to improve their service. I had a subscription with them prior to COVID and also ordered gift boxes separately from them afterwards.
I’ll start by saying the boxes are beautiful! I read a lot so I was worried I would have already read the books sent but That’s was never the case which was a lovely surprise! One of them is even one of my all time favourites now! They reliably pick fab books. I also enjoy the concept- snacks, tea and a little something else. Love!! I hate the idea of getting tatt from a subscription box piling up each month, so it really works having things you can consume or use. These bits also feel very luxurious which is a lovely treat. The only negative on the content of the box is that some months I didn’t always feel like I had got my money’s worth, but other months I did. However, overall I loved the books and the bits sent with it.
The main reason for the negative review is not the content, it’s the delivery. Nearly every month I had this subscription I had to chase them to find out where my box was- the one month I didn’t chase (choosing to wait it out), my box didn’t arrive! My boxes were late by weeks every time, even my gift boxes that I had ordered (I hoped the delivery issue was only with the subscription!!). This was prior and during the pandemic. I feel awful that this business who can and does produce lovely content and concept are being thwarted by their delivery processes. At the end of the day, a business is responsible for getting your purchase to you so if the delivery system that is being used isn’t working it needs to be replaced! It is also odd how these delays haven’t been experienced with any other shops my household has ordered from (I can still get next day delivery from most!) This issue has been going on for year+ now so for the businesses sake it needs to be sorted.
If this delivery issues didn’t exist, it think this company could really thrive as it would be perfect! If this can happen I will happily review another time and recommend them to my book blog followers. Until this is fixed I would recommend that they let people know there will be a 2-3 week delay before they purchase! Reposed you are great, just sort out your delivery!!!
Lovely book choices
My friend gifted me a subscription in June and I loved all the books. Just treated myself to a subscription and received 1st box, which is really exciting. (To note.. my normal post was backlogged 4-6weeks from Nov until recently).
Could you get the books cheaper elsewhere? Probably, but that’s not the point, it’s not Amazon.

Lovely Gift Idea
I sent a box as a gift for a friend’s birthday and she was thrilled with it! Just the kind of luxury treats one needs during these COVID times. I love the aesthetic of this company and will be ordering from them again.
A real treat.
I’ve subscribed to Reposed since May 2020 and I love it! It’s an unexpected treat every month. I can see a lot of reviews focused on delivery times. In the 9 months I’ve subscribed only this month’s box has been ‘late’ and I can completely understand that under the circumstances. I’ve really enjoyed the majority of the books and all of the treats. I’ve also been in contact with customer services a few times as I moved house, and they were great. I can completely understand that people want to vent if things haven’t quite turned out as they expected, these are of course trying times, but I also think that there should be a level of empathy associated with a small business striving to keep going in unprecedented circumstances. I feel like my review has been in defence of the negative ones I’ve just read, but it’s also on a selfish level as I’d hate for the negative reviews to cause Reposed serious problems. Their subscription boxes are one of the highlights of my month and a real treat.
Sigh. Reposed need to rectify their regrettable and reprehensible customer service
Sigh. I have ongoing correspondence with Reposed whereby they ‘claim’ that the absence of my parcel is due to the incompetencies, inconsistencies and inabilities of the Royal Mail. A quick Google tells the learned that the Royal Mail can trace its history back to 1516. Even if I had placed my order then, for a notable work of Middle English literature such as Le Morte d’Arthur by Thomas Malory, I very much doubt it would have arrived by now, were it sent by this so called company, ‘Reposed’.
I propose, that Reposed, should be repossessed, and re-educated on how to run a company. Regrettable. Reprehensible. Rectify, please.
Fascinating that all the other companies owned by the person that owns Reposed have exactly the same number and type of negative reviews!!!

I’ve been getting boxes from reposed since they were born! I love the books, they are always the best of contemporary fiction, the treats are always amazing and high quality. The communication has never been an issue if I’ve raised anything it is dealt with swiftly!
If you’re looking for a book subscription box- this is the way to go- the fact that I’ve been with them for so long shows this!
A beautiful treat
I felt like I had to write a review in light of the huge amounts of bad reviews on here. I've been receiving Reposed boxes for a couple of years and had no real issues. I've had one box go missing, I emailed and got it replaced. I have emailed the company a couple of times for tracking numbers if I feel the box is later than usual, I always get a swift reply and tracking number. The boxes are beautiful and I feel they are great value for money.
Feels like fraud
I ordered a gift box for my sister's birthday 2 weeks ago. No sign of parcel. No dispatch notification, no tracking details, and now no response from customer services.
Considering this is marketed as a gift service, I have been chasing some form of communication so that I, as the sender, can be reassured that my £48 order will be sent to the recipient.
Seems like a basic customer expectation, no?
Do not buy from here unless you want to experience ongoing rage and be taken for a mug.
The positive reviews on this page are clearly falsely written in light of the numerous (real) negative ones. The company do not have tracking on their parcels, and customer services are extremely unhelpful if you are lucky enough to get a reply.

The parcel has arrived, a week and a half after her birthday.
I paid for a ‘bespoke book box’. With a personalised gift message. My sister received her items bundled in a jiffy bag. No gift message. The £5.50 pen, still in its cheap cellophane, does not work. There is nothing luxury about this gift. I’m astonished at how disappointing this entire service and experience has been.
I wish I could add a picture to my review to prove the complacency of whoever is running this business.
I could have put this together myself, and got it to her on the correct date, for half of the price.
Still no reply from 'customer services' following my complaint.

Unprofessional!!
Edit: reposed claimed this is false, however I had sent my information across so they are lying to cover themselves up. After I sent this info across, about 5 mins later, my cancellation went from processing to complete, so I know they've seen it. I took screenshots and put one on my insta stories to prove it and they blocked me lol. They're SHADY. I legit have unboxings of this box on my insta and my blog before this went down - @honestly.holly - so you can see for yourselves that its real. I also have a post about the issues others faced with them. Again, such a bad company!! I'm so disappointed that they ended up like this.
Repetitive boxes. It just works out a lot cheaper to buy a paperback and a snack yourself. Book selection is usually good though.
Lots of delays with postage, but everything else coming via royal mail has had zero delays for me and many others... suspicious. They send via tracked 48hr shipping which has been notoriously on time as well due to RM prioritising tracked parcels. However, they don't send the tracking numbers or dispatch emails to customers unless you specifically request, and sometimes not even then.
The way they respond to reviews is unprofessional. There was an instance on Instagram where they publicly shared a negative review and directly addressed the woman who left it, telling her to be kind and saying her problems were no big deal. This was so shocking to see and I unfollowed and cancelled my subscription. They ended up blocking said customer and then addressing her in an Instagram story which she obviously would not be able to see, calling her tone aggressive (when in fact, it was very polite!). Gaslighting customers due to the company's own inefficiencies is bad practice.

Terrible execution and customer service
I reached out to Reposed with the following complaint on Monday 25th January 2021. Date of writing is Friday 29th January 2021 and still no reply.
For context, I ordered a custom box on the evening of Tuesday 12th January for my mother who was unwell. She received it on the evening of Saturday 23rd January (at which point she was no longer unwell).
Firstly, the parcel was incorrectly labelled with both the recipient's name and my name. I double checked the original order and it quite clearly showed the recipient's name and address as different from the billing name and address, so I assume this was a manual error. My mother was confused by this, and thought, quite understandably, that I'd ordered something for myself to her address. Really disappointing.
Secondly, the parcel did not contain a gift message note. I'd even gone to the trouble of double checking the gift message had definitely gone through in an email sent to Reposed directly after making my order on Tuesday 12th January; someone from their team replied the following day confirming the gift message had been logged when I initially made the order. The fact it wasn't included was super disappointing as my mother didn't get the custom message and wouldn't have known who it was from (well, apart from the fact that my name was incorrectly included on the outside of the parcel).
Finally, and I was hesitant to bring this up as having read several negative reviews of Reposed regarding late delivery, the responses by the Reposed team seem entirely to blame Royal Mail (even when it is pretty clear the issue is the dispatch time, not the delivery time). Anyway... to note, I made the order on the evening of Tuesday 12th January and it was delivered on the evening of Saturday 23rd January. That is 11 days in total, of which eight were working days. If the parcel was dispatched on Thursday 14th January (as asserted in an email from Reposed, after I chased for a dispatch date - at this point my mother had recovered from her illness and I was worrying the gift was too late to make any sense), that would mean it took Royal Mail a total of nine days (of which six were working days) to deliver. It's certainly possible, but I use Royal Mail a lot to deliver packages and in general, the 1st class packages are arriving within two working days, max, and the 2nd class packages are arriving within four working days, max.
Regardless of the delivery time, the fact the label was incorrect and that no gift note was included even after I chased is super, super disappointing. Needless to say, I will not be using Reposed again, which is a shame as it's a nice concept. It's just disappointing the execution and customer service is lacking (further evidenced by some of the shockingly rude and dismissive responses from Reposed in reply to negative reviews on here).
Someone is lying.
I've messaged these guys 6 times over my 12 month subscription I placed, I'm yet to receive the first box which I purchased as a gift for my mother. I've been told it was sent on the weekend of the 8th of Jan its on its way on the 18th, and it should be here in a couple of days. Still waiting.
I've asked when February one is due again the 8th dont even think I will receive January's by then the way they go on.
Trying to blame the postal service provider you as a company have selected is a joke.
Anyone wants to see the email evidence I will happily forward it to them after messaging me. Furthermore the amount of fake reviews on here is aberrant.

Wonderful box AGAIN, very disheartened by awful reviews!!
This is now my fourth REPOSED box and as always I am absolutely thrilled with the contents. The box is £13 a month, and for that you get an adorable tealight, a book that not many people will have heard of, a sweet treat and a pouch of loose leaf tea!
I'm saddened to see the negative reviews shown towards this wonderful company, the late shipping is due to the postal services and is out of REPOSED hands, they post the box on time every month without fail. As for the contents, the box is affordable and gives you a touch of relaxation and small luxuries every month, cultivating in a wonderful atmosphere for reading.
Take the new book, light the tealight, eat your snack and drink your tea. A perfect reading set up in one box.
If you feel you are not getting your money's worth, then find another company, but you will be paying a lot more for a lot less. Believe me, I tried a lot of book boxes before I was finally happy with REPOSED.
TLDR; Stop moaning, wonderful box, take your problems up with the post service.
This company couldn’t be more reposed - in a really bad way
Absolutely awful customer service. Expensive gift ordered for a friend’s milestone birthday with a six day window for it to be processed and sent. No sign of it a week on. Birthday now missed and impossible to reach customer service team. Reposed? Totally supine when it comes to customers, unfortunately.
