Stay away from Rentoza, after sales are bad and their accounts are even worse. Payments aren't allocated timeously and then they block devices.
Contacting them is non existent, they do not answer calls or emails!

"Where do I even begin with Rentoza? This service is an absolute nightmare from start to finish. First off, their website looks like it was designed by a third-grader with a crayon and a napkin. It's clunky, outdated, and about as user-friendly as trying to wrestle a grizzly bear while blindfolded.

But wait, it gets worse. Their customer service is a joke. I've never encountered a more unhelpful bunch of individuals in my life. It's like they actively try to make your experience as frustrating as possible. Good luck trying to get a straight answer out of them without being transferred to five different departments and put on hold for hours on end.

And let's not forget about their so-called 'inventory.' It's like they raided the bargain bin at a thrift store and called it a day. Half the stuff they have listed is either broken, outdated, or missing essential parts. And don't even get me started on the cleanliness. I've seen dumpsters that were more sanitary than some of the items I received from Rentoza.

Oh, and did I mention the prices? You'd think with the quality of their products and service, they'd practically be giving stuff away for free. But nope, they have the audacity to charge premium prices for subpar garbage.

Save yourself the headache and avoid Rentoza like the plague. Trust me, you'll thank me later."

I wanted 3 items on the platform. Checked out and made payment only for them to get back to me saying I can’t take more than 2 items (after taking the money?) anyway remove 1 item and confirm only to be declined on the verification process after paying? Then get a vague email saying I was declined and can expect my refund in 3-5 working days. I responded asking for more reasoning (I accept the decline but help me understand what needs to be done to be approved) I got no response back. Payment was made on the 23rd April…I emailed them this morning wanting my refund and got a email saying there was a miscommunication and I actually got approved and I need to advise on how I would like to proceed. I’m moving tomorrow and already purchased my own appliances and just want my cash back at this stage and got told I need to wait another 3-5 working days. Nobody was ever going to bother telling me about this apparent approval or arrange delivery. Terrible service delivery and horrible processes. For those that use their services which is a great concept. Don’t let them bully you if you late on payment. I can’t be the only person waiting up to 2 weeks for my money back.

Your service is terrible as always , that is one thing you are consistence about and your terrible customer service.

The only time you respond to emails or WhatsApp's is when its for your benefit, your staff members treat customers poorly, its no wonder you don't have a phone line to be reached on .

I had to change my original review , at first I had no issues with them and everything went smooth until I upgraded to another laptop. Then the service went downhill, every month is a battle with them about debit orders. They debit your account with more than the agreed amount and then threaten you with legal action and for owing them money, when in fact they owe you money since they debited more than what you signed up for. After numerous emails bacm and forth they let me know that the have allocated the payment towards my account and the exstra toward the next month, now after a few days the whole ordeal has started again with me receiving an email saying I owe then money and they have handed it over to their legal team. Honestly speaking stay as far away from them as you can, it is not worth all the headaches and unnecesary stress that comes with their service. And the fact that you can't call them to get an issue sorted out is a red flag, and if you email them and answer takes forever which doesn't help to de-escalate the whole situation.

I got my phone delivered on the 05/04 - iPhone 11, 2 days later my phone doesn't charge, I immediately sent an email to the support team however they took forever to respond and get back to me! I am not the type to complain however this is BS and I will not tolerate this, I have been sending email everyday and no1 cares about what I have to say! I am so disappointed. If they can't fix my issues, they should cancel and refund me!

The most terrible company to buy from.

They firstly take forever to deliver but still take the subscribed amount,when i asked to be refunded did they only tell me a supervisor will be in contact with me.after asking for a refund ,im waiting over a month and no funds were sent back to my account.

All I can say is if you want to be harassed and treated like a criminal for being a good paying customer be my guest to do business with this company. They do not read emails, they do not respond to WhatsApps and they do not have a number to call. They took almost R5k off my account over two years ago which resulted in me paying via eft. Every month I pay in advance, and every month I get harassed and treated like a criminal. PS I never got my R5k back. Stay away please I beg you do not fall victim to these crooks like I did.

They tell you in the contract that you can buy the device from them after paying your subscription. Then when you paid your subscription they won't let you buy it and still take a lot of money every month and lock your phone after taking the money. When you try to contact them they ignore you. THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!

Banks have the authority to investigate such claims and can credit your account while conducting a thorough review. If I could give this company - 10 stars I would. After writing my experience on facebook I have been blocked!!! This just shows how they are a bunch of corrupt people.

I have always vouched for rentoza and supported them but now I can see exactly who they are they are a company that steals people's money. My subscription for my phone has been paid up along time ago. In total an amount of R15600 has been paid and the phone is actually only worth R12000 so I've paid my fair share and now that the subscription is done the phone is locked and has never been unlocked since last year because they ignore their customers and don't care for them at all only the money you pay to them. They piggy back off other subscriptions to get their money they say the phone will be yours and the mobicontrol will be removed after the subscription has been paid but that doesn't happen DONT EVER BUY FROM THEM. If a phone has been stolen its takes them a month to replace it and the replacement is not even new its a secondhand phone that someone else has used. This whole company is a pyramid scheme to suck money out of you. Don't buy from them you'll be disappointed in the end and you would've wasted ALOT of money.

And yet after writing my review on facebook they said they are looking into to it and what do you know they have blocked me so in conclusion DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY JUST STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!

I'm gradeful I was smart enough to check this company on Pilot was about to buy a phone. Thanks for your all your review they really helped. I'll not buy from this company or recommend anyone of my friends and family

BAD SERVICE. they failing to give me my refund and every week they experiencing problems with their refund system. a refund is just a simple process of tranfering money from account to the other.
they then proceed to send me emails asking me to pay the subscription that i never got.
Every day you get a new lie of bad service. Worst part is that you cant call them

Trying to get my refund back for 11days now. All answers are generic. Worst company ever to deal with.

I order a phone from, after a long struggle i got my verification completed. They delivered the phone, after i got the phone for a few days and they deduct the money again, but there was nothing in my bank account, so they sent me a message saying i need to pay, after i reply back and ask them why must i pay if i only got the phone for a few days, then they start to threaten me, they will block the phone and arrange for picking up the phone, failure do so they will open a case of theft and so on. Just keep in mind, this in the same day of payment was not received, so i told them they can come and collect they phone, i dont want to do business with a company who cant treat they customer right. Collection date was arrange and they still deduct the money from my account. So i will see how long i going to struggle to get my money back. Guys please dont use this company, there is no landline to phone them, whatsapp does not work. Failure to pay they will threaten you. I will deleted my account after i got my refund. Please read the reviews. This company is bad news.

Hey, my mom rented at iphone 14 pro max from rentzo for myself, we always kept up with payments every month on the 27th, my mom recently got a new job and changed her payment from the 27th to the very last day of the month. They agreed asked her to pay R300 to change the date and she did, on the 28th they blocked my phone with photos on it, student information and banking details. They threatened to call the police on my mom even though she showed proof of payment to change the dates, the collected the phone yesterday and said we can get the phone when she pays them tomorrow. Honestly I do not want the phone back... you guys are disgusting.

They take payment and than have a customer policy that so strict, honestly just save up and buy it cash they are very unreasonable.

Toxic 🤢 Rentoza subscription

I subscribed a Samsung device with rentoza ...but now I regret it
I'm very angry customer I subscribed and paid R430 subscription fee on the 14.12.2023.then received the device 7days later on 22 December continue with poor service delay to activate for three day's until 26 Dec..on the 14 of Jan they decided to block the device said I must pay 300rand on top of RR430 paid now is total cost of R730 within period of 20 day's but still it took them three days to activate my phone and the agent threatened to take the phone harrassed me at my work place...of which I subscribed a debit my for the 25 of every month ... But is no longer happening according to agree is like they demand money every after two weeks now.. 😭 when I wake this morning the device is blocked again is not even a month or 30 day's I paid a total of R1160 cos yesterday they debited amount of R430...this is traumatic to me I'm not enjoying this device is better u guy come and collect ur device and give me my money back..... You can come at my work place where you normally come and harrass me 😭
