Great working with Rely Home!

Vendors please stay away!! We are owed thousands of dollars after working with them for 2 months! Won't pay authorized tickets, claiming so metrics that we were never aware of - No regard for the HVAC company at all - PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM RELY AND CHOICE HOME WARRANTY - SCAM!!!!!!

The People that call you back when you put in your diagnosis are a pain in the a** they act like the work should be done for free. I have been working with them since July and it was ok but now they are down my throat. They want me to change a toilet out for $60 !! UM HELLO it’s way more .. I have to get parts and they isn’t 60$. It’s a joke. Plumbing is a need not a privilege. Nobody does work for free unless your not licensed..
Also- they send out non license people to work on peoples plumbing and take the diagnostic fee and leave clients with the issue they needed fixed. HOW DO I REPORT RELY TO THE BBB they need to get in trouble for not doing the right thing.

Vendors BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My company was authorized to do work for a pool heater in which we called the manufacturer for support. We had to troubleshoot. We needed more parts & was authorized again. Still troubleshooting needed another part in which Rely Home denied and REASSIGNED our work.
We never got paid for parts or labor or anything!
We called customer relations who said to call the homeowner & get the parts back "we are not paying you"!!!!!!!!!!
I asked to speak to management in which someone is suppose to call in the next 24 hours and was told they will be saying the same thing.
Authorizations does not understand what "TROUBLESHOOTING" means. Solving problems is not black & white. At least I did not ask for a new heater.
I was AUTHORIZED and need to get PAID for my services, parts, labor.
BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I’ve done several work orders for them. I received only one check still my $4000 is on hold when I called them. They said your account is paused. I have to wait 180 days which doesn’t make sense at all. Let’s get together hire a lawyer and and get our many from this company.

I whould give no stars but it whould not let me. I'm owed over 4000 dolors from them that they have stole from me after approving work after it performed they reassigned it taking away what was owed already. Badddd business and even worse company so saying having 5000 reviews of 5 stars someone payed for those. Never ever do business with them. Thanks service contractor

Contractors Beware — Severely Underpriced and Delayed Payments

As a licensed contractor, my experience with Rely Home Warranty has been extremely disappointing. They operate using a fixed-price guide that is far below market rates — and they do not allow any price adjustments, even when the scope clearly justifies it.

You’re expected to:
• Cover the cost of all parts upfront
• Wait 30 days or more to be reimbursed
• Accept incredibly low payouts (e.g., $65 total for parts and labor on a job that required nearly $300 worth of work)

I completed a simple P-trap replacement, submitted my invoice as agreed, and followed their process. A month later, they informed me that I would only be paid according to their $65 cap — a rate that doesn’t even cover materials, let alone professional labor or liability insurance.

This approach is not sustainable or fair to contractors. It’s no surprise they don’t have a public-facing Google Business profile — if these practices were more visible, they’d likely lose business.

If you’re a contractor considering working with Rely, I strongly suggest thinking twice.

Would love to leave a zero star review! I have told my realtor friends and owners of this scam artist company. They are insane to work with. Customer has legit issue they try to band aid or make it so unattainable you quit trying. Seriously a joke of a company and would never buy this junk. Be very careful if you do they try to do some crazy stuff not to pay!!!!

Hello! Vendors please help! Have had blocked on SCAM COMPANY CHOICE RELY! 15k $$$ FROZEN/ONHOLD, 6 month already! Because of their metrics is not equal to metrics on my account! This is absolutely scam they fraud I have not checked this company before started work with them! 15000$ is on hold or frozen 6 month passed! Could you be so kind and helpful to send to me any help information from yours cases and any advices for me to start legal actions or anything else to be able get the sweat and pain job money to be able to run my business please !!

If I could give this bullshit ass company negative 5 stars I would a complete waste of time I’ve completed 3 jobs so far since I started with them and NEVER got paid for none of them please don’t waste your time with these people run if anything

UNETHICAL! They have their contracts set up to be able to scam you and they will in any way possible. We were authorized for a certain amount and then they pay us 75% less than that amount

I did thousands of dollars of work for choice / rely and was never paid. I completed the work in early 2024 and was never paid. Now they say my claim numbers don't exist. Stay away, they take advantage of you trying to build your business up.

We agreed as a contractor of Rely Home to do work for them. We completed over 100 claims for them in a few short months. To date, we have received no payment from the. I called to today and was told I would have to pay 30.00 for each stop pay check and wait until the following Tuesday for them to re-issue the check. They will not over night the check, they will not pay by ACH or credit card. They currently owe us for over 10,000 in unpaid work. I am beyond frustrated and don't know what else to do.

I am or was a vendor for Rely Home warranty. I would at all cost avoid this warranty company. They owe me over 5,000 dollars and refuse to pay what is owed. I have seen them deny customers for reasons that are ridiculous and they have lied to many people that I have done work for. Please at all cost AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID. BOYCOTT RELY HOME

They are a scam! Will take your money and deny claims. Even when you read the contract and show them they say they have discretion and can deny for whatever reason.

I've worked for another Warranty company, while I had problems with them, they were nothing like this.

As a contractor, they instruct you to get a check from customer before anything else, then you diagnose the problem. Once you submit your diagnosis, they ask you to reduce your price, if you don't reduce it enough they "reassign" the job and deduct the amount of the check the customer gave you from your account, effectively you're an errand boy to go pick up their checks and if you don't work for dirt, your time / gas money are on you.

That's not the worst of it, only today I reviewed my accounts payable, they have taken it upon themselves to reduce the amount they agreed & approved me for and reduced my payments.

I'm filing a complaint with my State's Attorney General, the CFPB and filing a motion in small claims to sue them.

For the homeowner, this company is a scam, read your contract regarding "emergency" services, if you have a leak that's actively causing damage, they do not guarantee to have someone out promptly, for this reason they can take their time as they slowly try to find someone willing to work for their rates.

You're much better off putting money into an emergency fund then giving it to them.
