Every day tour we did they checked in with us to see how our day was, any concerns etc. I would definitely book again with realistic Asia!

We booked a 9 day tour of Sri lanka with our rep Long pham. We have used him a few times now and have always been extremely pleased with our experience.
The tour was amazing we got to enjoy the highlights of what this beautiful country has to offer and it didn't feel rushed even with the tight timeframe. Our guide Dilan was fantastic and very accommodating and made sure we got the experience we wanted. All of the hotels we stayed in were good / great. The tour was private so just myself and my wife were with our guide for the duration which made it more personalized. I would highly recommend using realistic asia.

Ich habe in den letzten Jahren ganz Asien mit diesem Reisebüro bereist. Ich bin so happy, dass ich dieses Reisebüro durch Zufall gefunden habe. Es ist das Reisebüro, welches jeden Wunsch zu vernünftigen Preisen möglich macht

Die Hotels waren immer top und überdurchschnittlich. Die privaten Reiseführer haben alle immer super englisch gesprochen. Die Betreuung der Agentur während der Reise ist überdurchschnittlich, die zusammengestellten Reisen waren ein Traum. Ich schaffte es, immer in kurzer Zeit so viel wie möglich vom Land zu sehen (genau so, wie ich das wollte). Ich habe jeweils eine Privattour in meinem ausgesuchten Land nach meinen Wünschen zusammen gestellt. Meine Agentur-Agentin, Jenny konnte ich immer per Whatsapp erreichen und sie hat immer innert ein paar Stunden zurückgeschrieben.

Ich kann diese Agentur nur empfehlen, wenn man ein wunderbares Reiserlebnis erleben möchte. Ich werde wieder buchen, wenn ich nach Asien fliegen möchte

We took an 18-day journey through Viet Nam and Cambodia arranged by Rough Guides and supported by Realistic Asia. We have been on cruises and group tours, but this was the first tailor-made tour where we did “all and only” what we wanted to do with the support of those who know the lay of the land. First, we expressed our interests online. Rough Guide proposed an itinerary. We exchanged ideas and landed on the tour we wanted to take and the hotels we wanted to stay at. Bottom line – it was an incredible trip. Our project manager, Ivy from Realistic Asia, saw to every detail. She was a treasure who helped us along the way, even though we never met in person – only electronically. We were met at each location by a driver and a knowledgeable guide from the area. We were treated to excellent meals and local events and excursions. A few highlights – In Hanoi, we were charmed by a water puppet show; we wove through hundreds of small islands on a 3-day cruise in Ha Long Bay; we cruised the canal during the lantern festival in Hoi An; took a food-tasting tour on Vespas in Ho Chi Minh City (a real highlight!); spent the better part of a day touring Mekong by boats and jeeps; went to multiple temples in Siem Reap, including, or course, Ankor Wat. While the lodgings were great everywhere, a special shoutout to the Jaya House in Siem Reap – luxurious, personable and quirky. Having traveled for over 50 years, have to say this was one of our top trips ever. Look forward to using Rough Guides and Realistic Asia again.

We booked a 14 Days Vietnam Trip with Realistic Asia. The experience was amazing. Linh took care of us every step including daily check ins. Kudos to Linh and Realistic Asia.

We did a 19 day tour with Realistic Asia through Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. The tour went really well all of the guides were excellent and moving around the countries was made easy by the well organized transfers and excellent drivers. Our travel consultant Linh was incredible she made all of the trip come together from helping to organize our customized itinerary to keeping in regular contact with us during the holiday to ensure everything was going smoothly. She also went the extra mile an example being when I had a small stomach issue she contacted the hotel we were staying in and arranged for them to provide me with ginger tea.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Realistic Asia and Linh for anyone heading to South East Asia for a holiday.

This was a fantastic trip and well thought out and planned. We have many wonderful memories and really appreciate Longs assistance with arranging all of the details!

Our 14‑day tour through Vietnam in April 2026 was truly remarkable. Every activity was thoughtfully planned, and the entire experience flowed seamlessly from start to finish. The drivers who picked us up for excursions were consistently punctual and professional, ensuring smooth transfers throughout the trip.
A special mention goes to Long Pham, our coordinator from Realistic Asia. He was absolutely amazing and diligent, always just a phone call away, and even offered wonderful suggestions during our free days that added a personal touch. On our arrival in Hanoi, he personally came to meet us and surprised us with a thoughtful gift from Realistic Asia, which was such a memorable gesture.

The hotels and food were top notch, and every excursion was well organized, making the journey both comfortable and unforgettable. This was an experience we will cherish, and we highly recommend Realistic Asia to anyone looking to explore Vietnam with ease and excellence.

Stephen Long was an excellent tour advisor for our two-week trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. He put together a wonderful itinerary tailored to our preferences — food, art, history, and nature — and truly paid attention to what we wanted. When I asked him to build in a relaxation day mid-trip, he planned for us to be in beautiful Hoi An, where our hotel had a pool and the beach was just a short trip away.
Stephen did an amazing job staying in contact with us via WhatsApp throughout the entire trip. All of our transportation, hotels, inter-trip flights, and activities were booked for us, and communication about where and when we needed to be was always clear. We were also able to make slight adjustments to the itinerary as needed, which we really appreciated. The local tour guides Stephen arranged in each city were excellent as well.
We had an incredible time visiting Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City, and Siem Reap. We highly recommend Stephen for planning your next trip to Vietnam and Cambodia!

Travelling alone in a country where I don't speak the language was initially scary, but as soon as I landed I knew I was in very safe hands. Everything was exceptionally organized and communication was easy. I would highly recommend.

We wanted to hit all the highlights of a typical 2-week Vietnam tour but wanted to avoid traveling in a group. After stumbling on a YouTuber who sang the praises of Realistic Asia we started researching them. Ultimately we discovered they could provide a private tour customized to our tastes and preferences for the same price as what we’d be able to book on our own. They added two days to the 13 day itinerary as we customized it.

The real beauty of their system is that you get a dedicated Travel Consultant who you stay in contact with throughout your trip via WhatsApp. Our Travel Consultant was Stephen and he was amazing. A few days into the trip, I tripped and fell during my morning run in Hanoi. I wound up going to the emergency room with a broken thumb and split open chin. Stephen sprang into action and diverted our local guide for that day to the hospital to help us. For the remainder of our tour he helped rework the day tours to avoid anything I couldn’t do. My jaw was in bad shape so he even worked with the restaurants for the trip-included lunches to make sure there were softer options available.

And thanks to Charlie, our Hue guide, for his help when we visited a hospital there for follow up care.

OVERALL: Our experience with Realistic Asia was fantastic. The city guides are friendly and knowledgable. The hotels (we chose the 4-star option) were centrally located and met our high expectations. The food was great (even the softer options!). If you want to visit Vietnam worry-free, we recommend talking to the travel experts at Realistic Asia.

So this was the most adventurous trip our family had ever done. We were somewhat anxious about navigating foreign lands so far from our culture in Canada.

The sites on this trip did not disappoint us and we saw so much. Each location we visited was about the right amount of time to experience the local culture and sites.

Mie hat uns die Reise nach unseren Wünschen zusammengestellt und alles möglich gemacht, obwohl wir sehr kurzfristig gebucht haben. Sie war immer erreichbar und ist auf all unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Die Reise war perfekt durchgeplant und war total stressfrei. Nach gut der Hälfte der Urlaubszeit übernahm Emilia unsere Betreuung, die genauso perfekt alles organisiert hat. Wir mussten uns um nichts selber kümmern. Auch die Inlandsflüge wurden für uns organisiert und eingecheckt.

We had an amazing vacation touring Southeast Asia. Realistic Asia, specifically our consultant, Linh Thieu, arranged all of the logistics for our 16 day trip to Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. Linh planned our flights, our schedules, and all of the transfers, as well as many well-thought-out tours to show us some of the highlights of each city, including a bit of every day life there. Some of the tours were even private! We also had time to explore these areas on our own. Most of our planning with Linh was online, and we found her extremely responsive and experienced. We were additionally impressed that she arranged to personally meet us at our first hotel in Hanoi. Linh’s expertise contributed to making this trip stress-free and extra enjoyable, and we happily recommend touring with Realistic Asia!

We are a couple in our mid sixties. We live to travel. This time South East Asia was on our agenda. We booked through TourRadar and chose 14 day adventure in Vietnam. We loved every part of this trip. Mr. Long helped to make sure we had everything signed and packed accordingly before we left. He met us at our first hotel in Hanoi and answered any questions or worries we had. He checked in with us every day. It was nice to have a lot of freedom to do our own thing but to have the details organized by someone who lives there and knows what to do. The hotels were lovely and we met the most lovely people, often leaving the hotel with hugs and even some small gifts and one complimentary upgrade! I would not hesitate to book another adventure with Realistic Asia! They exceeded our expectations. Thank you!
