My wife and I completed our 9 Day Thailand Islander tour in early July. We hooked up with Vietnam Tour Fun though the Tourradar site. Our Vietnam Tour Fun laison, Long Pham was superb and always kind, friendly, patient, helpful, and professional. Long really enabled us to have a worry free tour! The trip itinerary went off without a hitch and everything the tour promised all took place smoothly, Transportation was efficient, accomodations were pleasing, food was enjoyable, day trips were a blast, but what really made the trip so enjoyable were all the people that made up Vietnam Tour Fun’s team. From the drivers, to boat captains, boat staff, tour guides, hotel staffs, and everyone else really provided a friendly face to us each day and really made out trip so memorable. A huge thank you to Huyen Thanh for taking such good care of us from the moment we arrived until the end of our trip. Even though she wasn’t with us during the tours, she checked on us every day to make sure everything was going well. She even helped me organize a birthday surprise for my friend, Anila, which made the celebration extra special. The highlight of our trip was definitely Hoi An. We completely fell in love with the colorful lanterns, lively streets, warm and friendly people, and the amazing food. We also had a wonderful time in Da Nang—the city is beautiful, relaxing, and full of great places to explore.

A big thank you as well to our fantastic tour guides—Quey in Hanoi, Tran in Hoi An, and K in Ho Chi Minh City. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and made every tour fun, interesting, and stress-free.

We also loved all the hotels. Tirant Hotel in Hanoi had such welcoming staff, and their chef served the best pho we had during our entire trip! La Luna Riverside Hotel & Spa in Hoi An was in a perfect location, just a short walk from the main attractions, with kind staff and comfortable rooms. Silverland May Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City was beautiful, and every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome.

Our drivers were always on time, friendly, and made every journey comfortable.

Die Hotels waren immer top und überdurchschnittlich. Die privaten Reiseführer haben alle immer super englisch gesprochen. Die Betreuung der Agentur während der Reise ist überdurchschnittlich, die zusammengestellten Reisen waren ein Traum. Ich schaffte es, immer in kurzer Zeit so viel wie möglich vom Land zu sehen (genau so, wie ich das wollte). Ich habe jeweils eine Privattour in meinem ausgesuchten Land nach meinen Wünschen zusammen gestellt. Meine Agentur-Agentin, Jenny konnte ich immer per Whatsapp erreichen und sie hat immer innert ein paar Stunden zurückgeschrieben.

Ich kann diese Agentur nur empfehlen, wenn man ein wunderbares Reiserlebnis erleben möchte. Ich werde wieder buchen, wenn ich nach Asien fliegen möchte

My family recently did the Vietnam Highlights in 10 Days tour. Everything from the moment we booked months before we travelled, to when we were on the tour was very well coordinated by our tour coordinator, Chris. Chris kept us informed over many months and through every stage of organising the trip; right through to informing us each day of the daily tour pick up timings, as well as contact details if anything went wrong (which didn’t for our tour). Chris was amazing to deal with throughout this tour, and I highly commend him for his efforts. This tour is a great way to see some of the highlights of Vietnam in a short timeframe and I highly recommend this tour.

Wow. What an awesome experience. Ten fun filled and informative days taking in all the sights and sounds, smells and tastes of Vietnam. Chris arranged everything. The transfers, the tours to ensure we could experience as much as possible. We covered Ho Chi Minh with a city tour, a war info tour and the Cu Chi Tunnels. We cruised down the Mekong Delta in a sampan. In Hoi An we had laughs trying to cook like the locals. And the last days were spent at Halong Bay cruising and kayaking amongst the huge limestone mountains and climbing into caves. Definitely a wonderful way to see the country in a very short time. Chris kept in contact throughout to ensure all went smoothly. We couldn't have asked for better service.

Absolutely loved my Vietnam trip! The Vietnamese people are the kindest, most genuine people in the world. This was by far one of my most affordable and spectacular places in the world that I have visited. The food was wonderful and the scenery was incredible. First of all, Long Pham, our Viet Nam Tour Fun Sales Consultant, was extremely helpful to us before the tour began and also during the tour. He went above and beyond to ensure that all of our wants and needs were met. Vietnam Tour Fun did a great job in organizing this tour. It is impossible to see all of Vietnam in this 11-day tour, but the most popular cities (Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An, Hue, Hanoi) were included in this well-planned tour. The tour guides were excellent, and all spoke English. The hotels selected were all clean and comfortable and a delicious free breakfast was provided by each hotel. Free time was provided in each city to explore on your own. An enjoyable boat tour of beautiful Ha Long Bay was also included.

My wife Amanda and I just completed the “Astonishing Vietnam In 11 Days” tour with Vietnam Tour Fun to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, and we cannot say enough good things about this experience.
From before we even landed in Ho Chi Minh City, our coordinator Long had every detail dialed in. Airport transfers, hotel check-ins, domestic flights between cities — and there were several on this trip — all handled seamlessly. We never waited, never wondered, never worried. Long operated everything from his base, communicating through WhatsApp, and somehow made it feel like someone was looking out for us at every turn without ever being intrusive.
The Mekong Delta day trip was a highlight we didn’t expect. Drifting through palm-lined canals by sampan, visiting a local family’s orchard, watching coconut candy being made by hand — it felt like stepping into another world entirely.
Hoi An stole our hearts. The ancient town at night, lantern-lit and glowing along the river, is something photographs simply cannot capture. We took a bicycle tour through the local markets and rice fields, stopping for a wonderful lunch at a spot where they hold cooking classes — the food was fresh, simple, and unforgettable. My wife and our daughter — who wasn’t with us — both had custom dresses made. Our daughter provided her measurements from back home, and my wife was measured on the spot. Six hours later, her dress was done. The Hotel Royal Hoi An MGallery was an exceptional base — elegant without being fussy.
Hue gave us a window into Vietnam’s imperial past. Walking through the Imperial Citadel at golden hour was a moment of genuine beauty and calm. Short stay, but it left a lasting impression.
Hanoi was electric. The Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake at night, the street food — every corner had something worth stopping for. The Apricot Hotel right on the lake was a perfect home base. And yes — we made the pilgrimage to Bún Chả Hương Liên and sat near the famous glass-enclosed table from the Bourdain and Obama episode. Worth every bit of the hype.
Ha Long Bay was part of the itinerary and the scenery is certainly striking. It’s one of those places worth seeing for yourself and drawing your own conclusions.
What truly sets this apart is Long. After the official tour ended, he arranged three additional days for us at a beachfront resort on Phu Quoc Island — flights, hotel, transfers, all of it — as if it had been part of the original itinerary all along. That’s not a tour operator. That’s someone who genuinely cares about the experience his guests walk away with.
Long doesn’t just coordinate — he curates. He anticipated what we’d need before we knew it ourselves, handled every logistic across multiple cities and flights without a single hiccup, and somehow made a group tour feel personal. We traveled with friends who felt exactly the same way.
If you’re considering Vietnam, book this tour and hope you get Long. You won’t regret it.
Pro tips from someone who just did it:
• At SGN, get the fast pass for customs and immigration. It will save you two hours in line.
• When flying domestically on VietJet, just check all your bags. You can thank me later.
• In Hoi An, get up early and go for a bike ride between 5:00 and 6:30 AM. The town is wide open, people are just opening their shops, and it’s a beautiful time to explore.
• Don’t have the hotel do your laundry. Step 50 feet outside and you’ll save 50%. 60 feet and you’ll save 60%.
• Download Grab from the App Store before you land. It’s Vietnam’s ride service and it is ridiculously efficient and inexpensive.

We had such a great time on our Thailand Islander In 9 Days tour. Once we figured out that WhatsApp is the way to communicate, our guide Long Pham was so responsive and answered all of our pre-trip questions. We had to change flights and had some missed connections delaying our trip. Long Pham did a great job accommodating our changes, making sure our transport was there and even changing a scheduled tour day so we wouldn't miss out on all the fun! We were so happy with the ease of all the transfers, the hotel accommodations, and the arranged activities. It was truly the trip of a lifetime. I would highly recommend and will be using them for future travel plans.
