Website gave incorrect information so the item I ordered didn't fit. I asked for a full refund on return of item. They sent me a prepaid postage label. Refund never came. I contacted them again and they asked for proof of return. I replied that they sent me the label so they will have all the tracking info. They immediately replied and said they have now processed the return. I waited for my credit card statement only to find they had only refunded the cost of the original item and not the postage to send it to me - even though it was their error and they should have refunded the entire amount I paid them. BEWARE.

Very easy to use website.Good machine diagrams which makes the part easy to identify.Product arrived next day as promised and was of good quality.

Fantastic communication throughout even at the weekend. Reasonable prices aswell. NEFF replacement induction hob glass top ordered. Took a while to come because it was on back order but now received and installed. Thoroughly recommend suppliers.

I searched their website for a spare by by manufacturer and model number. I ordered the item the Ransom spare website identified as correct. It was not correct and was to small for my appliance. I contacted Ransom spare to arrange return. I had to prove that I had ordered the correct part by supplying photograph of the appliance make and model. Eventually after chasing, I received the refund minus postage costs. When I queried this, as they had supplied the wrong item, I was told they had paid returned postage and therefore I was not entitled to a refund of the original postage costs. I believe this is a breach of the Consumer Rights Act. UPDATE I did get the postage refunded after I challenged them.

Superb service. Easily located obscure spare part required for washing machine. It was delivered 24 hours later.

Faultless and brilliant

Ordered a spare part for a tumble dryer. Received email for confirmed purchase and delivery details. Package was received as instructed by Royal Mail.

Item was packed well in bubble wrap and in excellent new condition as expected. Installed and working perfectly. Happy with service and would use again.

Update: After initial delivery delays, the team (specifically Ancheska) was very helpful. The regulator arrived, my cooker is now fixed, and the three returned items were refunded promptly after I posted them. Faith restored in this family business. Thank you!

I am extremely disappointed with the service from Ransom Spares. I ordered cooker parts on 12th February (Order 4255298) as I am currently without a working cooker.
The company marked my order as "Dispatched" on 16th February, but this was completely misleading. The Evri tracking has been stuck on "We're expecting your parcel" for over a week, meaning the goods were never actually handed to the courier.
Customer service (Ticket #1225788) has been unhelpful, providing only generic "we are chasing the supplier" responses without any resolution or a physical scan of the parcel. Their phone lines are also unresponsive.
I have now been forced to open a PayPal dispute to get my money back. Avoid this company if you need parts urgently—their "in stock" and "dispatched" claims cannot be trusted.

Do NOT use this website. I bought a part for my fridge freezer, there were no measurements on the website, so I used their part fit checker. There’s also came out inconclusive so I ordered the part after spending £4 on delivery. The part did not fit and then I was told that I’d have to pay for returns too even though the item was not fit for purpose as there was no way for me to measure it before the part arrived to see if it fit. Now I will have to spend another however much on returning the item myself at my cost which point with a delivery and return I will have probably paid for the item in whole. I do not recommend this business by any means.

Can someone please contact me so I can return the damaged goods you sent me. I tried opening a ticket but your portal doesn't work. I can't find a phone number to call or an email that isn't a noreply one. So I think this is the only way of contacting you, maybe.

By inputting the serial number of your appliance on the website you get an exact match for the spare part you need and it is delivered extremely quickly- great company and great service

My item was exactly as described. It was dispatched promptly, and was well packaged.

I ordered a drain pump for our hisense dishwasher that is only available via RandomSpares or Hisense spares (which is provided by Random Spares). Paid for next day delivery but it was a day late and then the pump supplier is also not spinning as it should and is more worn than the one from our 2 year old dishwasher. I contacted Hisense spares on their contact form waited days for a response, then provided the photos they asked for and 5 days later still no response. I have followed up and 24 hrs later still no response. I would like a new replacement part sent or a full refund. The phone number I found says it is no longer active. Very poor experience so far and when £137.50 for a drain pump, this is very poor value for money.

Extremely impressed with Ransom Spares, the communication throughout my ordering was great. When one of the parcel wasn't ready to ship they replied really promptly and offered to do two delivery's if it was better for me. The products arrived quickly together, were exactly what I ordered and on delivery everything was well wrapped and secure, 5 stars *****.

I ordered replacement knobs for a Belling hob but the ones which arrived were too large. It took weeks to get a return code as they kept asking for sizes and photos of the knobs as they were 'trying to match them correctly' then the same with the serial number of the oven. I eventually got a return code and paid for the return before Christmas (delived 18 December 2025). There had been no reply so I have chased this twice with photographic evidence of posting and delivery (there were a lot of returns in several crates on the delivery confirmation photo from Royal Mail). I would appreciate a reply and even more so the money back in my account (these items were paid for in October 2025).

Great customer care, very helpful customer service, and they replaced the part promptly after a shipping error.

Improvement from ransom spares.Ive recently had a refund for my order of the rear tumble dryer drum bearing which I didn't received.Maybe some mis, communication with delivery addresses somewhere down the line.I know business isnt always straight forwards but after sales communication is key.Thanks for the response..

Straight forward experience. Small issue around delivery time. Easily sorted through quick response from company when I contacted them.
I Would recommend Random Spares without hesitation.

Spare part for my fridge freezer took forever to arrive but in the interim period I bought another elsewhere which arrived next day. The ransoms part arrived a few days later and I returned it. You had to fill a form with all your details on a post office form which then allowed you to print a label
Before they allowed that, you had to weigh it, then measure it, enclose your order details and then pay for the postage. Not finished yet! You guessed it, you then had to physically go to the post office and receive a receipt of postage. Just count my blessings for Amazon‼️
