I only had a picture of my dog from the 80s and Purr & Mutt did a wonderful job with it. This was my third dog portrait and all have been better than I expected — which means they are one of the first things you see in my house. Thank you for the memories each one invokes!

Ordering was super easy. Getting a preview to approve is great customer service. Delivery was fast and securely packaged. Not a single bad word to say.

The product was excellent and having the chance to review it prior was ideal. The time frames from order date to delivery meant it didn't make it in time for the birthday though.

The portraits turned out even better than I expected. Very fast turnaround and I really liked that they sent me a draft of each portrait to see if I liked it before completing the order. Very easy to work with and good communication and updates about the status of my order.

Brilliant service from beginning to end.

This company presents itself well, but is functionally a scam. I ordered two photos - one as a memorial for my cat, the other as a gift for my brother. They both took extremely long to produce the initial proof.

The cat photo was fine and is pending some edits (overdue as well) that I would have preferred they saw the need for themselves, but the one for my brother was terrible - he has a long-haired dog and there was no effort to blend the neck and make it look "natural" in the frame. It was clearly just and crop and paste, and why they claim their "artists" don't do that, all evidence shows that they do. There's no effort either to make it look like a part of the oil painting - it's a glossy digital photo, blending terribly into the painting chosen - the lighting is all wrong, the texture is all wrong.

Seeing the quality of the work made me immediately want to ask for a refund. Several days and two follow-ups later, they told me that they couldn't provide one per their FAQs. Which simply means they didn't want to provide one. I'm not unreasonable - I understand if I can't be refunded the full charge because of the "labour" the "artists" did. But it's pure robbery not to be willing to refund even the frame I paid for, since nothing has been issued or shipped.

Completely appalled by this company. It's been almost a month since this process began and I'm not closer to any kind of resolution. Stay far, far away.

Ordered a double image of my 2 cats, from the moment I placed my order I got kept up to date throughout the full process. I liked that you were able to view a proof before it was finally printed too. The whole process from ordering to delivery took less than a week which I felt was very quick for something so personalised. I absolutely love my image, good quality and now I'll always have something to remind me of them now that they are over the rainbow bridge.
